Dhe'nar Clothing Line

The Dhe'nar Clothing Line consists of several scripted clothing items themed around the Dhe'nar culture. Several components interact with one another, and some items have special messaging for Dhe'nar characters. Dhe'nar Clothing Line garments are sold at Obsidian Raiment at Rumor Woods. They were introduced alongside Clothing of the Firstborn, which focuses on traditional clothing worn by Dhe'nar.

Belt

The belt can be worn with many of the Dhe'nar Line clothing items and will specifically acknowledge the szi'euk when worn. It is a waist-worn item and cannot have its noun changed.

Analyze

You analyze the lizard skin belt and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

Tier 2

Usage

Headband

The headband is a traditional piece of clothing and an important part of their coming of age. The material should always be some kind of skin or leather. It should represent a creature that was killed during the "Great Hunt."

Analyze

You take a closer look at a twisted leather headband.
You analyze the leather headband and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
Part of the Dhe'nar Cultural Clothing Line, the headband is a traditional piece of clothing and an important part of their coming of age.  The material should always be some kind of skin or leather.  It should represent a creature that was killed during the "Great Hunt."
It is currently tier 1 of 2 tiers.  It has access to the following verbs:  pull, push, remove, and wear

WEAR You wrap your leather headband about your forehead and tie it securely in the back. XXX wraps the leather headband about her forehead and ties it securely in the back.

Tier 2

For Dhe'nar characters, the headband will display in the features and temporarily change the hair quirk when worn. It has two default settings and can have up to two custom slots added. Hairstyles can be cycled via PINCH. The two default settings are:
  • He/She has (hairstyle) (hairtexture) (haircolor) hair held back from the temples by a braided leather headband.
  • He/She has (hairstyle) (hairtexture) (Haircolor) hair bound in place by a braided leather headband.
Dhe'nar characters may ask a merchant to add a trophy from their kill to the headband. It can be customized for the type of leather/skin and for the type of trophy, which are referenced in several verb traps. All other cultures will see a leather headband. Note: The headband and its materials cannot be used as alter fodder for other items.

SCRATCH All You work your fingers under your leather headband and scratch your head. XXX works her fingers under her leather headband and scratches her head.
TURN Dhe'nar You twist the nhil'mon skin of your headband, adjusting its position and laying the ruddy brown talons flat against it. XXX twists the nhil'mon skin of her headband, adjusting its position and laying the ruddy brown talons flat against it.
All others You twist the leather of your headband, adjusting its position. XXX twists the leather of her headband, adjusting its position.

Sash

The sash is worn over the clothing and at an angle from the shoulder to hip, usually indicating status within the culture. When altering this item, please remember that the adjective field must contain a fabric subcategory, such as red silk, bright cloth, ruched fabric, moire silk, etc.

Analyze

You take a closer look at a pale byssus sash embroidered with silver runes .
You analyze the byssus sash and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
Part of the Dhe'nar Cultural Clothing Line, the sash is worn over the clothing and at an angle from the shoulder to hip.
It is currently tier 1 of 2 tiers.  It has access to the following verbs: pull, push, remove, and wear
When altering this item, please remember that the adjective field must contain a fabric subcategory.
Examples: red silk, bright cloth, ruched fabric, moire silk, etc.

Szi'bai

The szi'bai is a chest-worn garment that wraps about the wearer, consisting of a single piece of material draped around the neck then crossed in the front before being pinned or tied off around the waist. It can be pinned or tied in either the front or back. It is traditionally worn by women. It can have a brooch added to it if the brooch's script is not too complicated. If the brooch has enhancives or other special properties, they will not be active when it is worn due to how the szi'bai houses them. The noun may not be altered.

The szi'bai has a hard-coded description that references the brooch added:

The ends of the szi'bai are tidily folded above the navel and held in place by a stygian silver stickpin.

Analyze

You analyze the indigo lacebark szi'bai and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
Part of the Dhe'nar Clothing Line, a layered indigo lacebark szi'bai edged with silver cording is a chest-worn cultural item.You can add a pin or brooch to it by holding the pin or brooch in one hand and TWISTing it into place while it is worn.  You can remove the pin or brooch before removing the szi'bai by PLUCKing it free.
Please Note:  If the brooch is too complicated, then it can not be added.  Also, if the brooch is added and has some kind of special properties when it is worn, then they will not activate due to the way the szi'bai houses them.

Szi'euk

Similar to a loincloth, the szi'euk is a waist-worn item that has its loose ends draped over the top to hang loose. It is traditionally worn by both genders. It is sometimes worn with a belt. It can have a brooch added to it if the brooch's script is not too complicated. If the brooch has enhancives or other special properties, they will not be active when it is worn due to how the szi'euk houses them. The noun may not be altered.

The szi'euk has a hard-coded description that references the brooch added:
