Written in Dark Elven

To Darphin Ta’Mori:

Writing in Dark Elven allows me to express myself clearly and with some articulation, so I will express my concerns bluntly. Considering your status as a Faendryl and a member of the infamous Ta’Mori clan, you know how reputations work and how they are often earned. Our people have been subject to this due to the sins of our ancestors, the overreaction of Ashrim leaving a damned spot on our place in the world. I realize I am unique in my viewpoint of that despicable act, but I have always been one to stand on my word, whether it earns me applause or a slap in the face. I recognize that my mouth will lead to my demise one day, but I always speak my mind.

Despite my inability to separate the actions of the Five from those who joined Sablecross, I have tried to listen to perspectives and give the benefit of the doubt. But we can no longer ignore the actions of the Coven nor the willingness of those who join despite these acts. The death of Kasendra Malwind and the attempted murder of the new Argent Mirror goes beyond excuse. The spread of the Green Death is unforgivable. But the comments have been that these are a different sect or past sins, unaffiliated with their quest for religious freedom.

That argument is nonsense. As Faendryl we know that association is often enough for charges and punishment. With Talliver’s capture at the hands of your beloved Dusk Coven, you and every single associate of the Dusk Coven are complicit in the Mayor’s kidnapping, complicit in Kasendra’s murder, and complicit in the Green Death. Your religious freedom only strengthens the resolve of those who view the preachings of the Lornon Arkati, as embracing death, disease, and destruction. I won’t tolerate this coy nature of oblivious stupidity distributed by the Coven, as the actions are antithetical to the words spewed.

You claim to be devoted to Icemule. Fix it! Find the Mayor! Bring him back! Otherwise, your devotion to and love of Icemule while allowing this tomfoolery is adulterous.

Do your job, lest others who lack my patience and tolerance do it for you!

I remain,

Yardie
