Candy Maker Rollers are used with the Gnomic Candy Press and are a required component in order for the press to function. They work with the press in both its Candy Press and Resin Press forms. Candy Maker Rollers transfer their design onto the Gnomic Candy Press's crafted item, impacting the shape of the candy or the type of resin object made.

Candy Maker Rollers can be purcashed at Rumor Woods in the Honeyed Gears shop in several forms. Random roller designs can be drawn from a pile of all pattern options. A Blank Candy Maker Roller Rod allows for the selection of one design from the pool of all available designs. And Specialty Candy Maker Rollers can transfer an insect, bird, or aquatic creature design from the Bugs on Parade, Jeepers Creepers, or Life Aquatic systems, using those systems' collection devices.

Rollers can be stored inside of a Candy Machine Roller Case, which serves as an "inator" storage device. It can be purchased in the same shop.

Candy Maker Roller

Rollers are used inside the Gnomic Candy Press. They are used with the press in Candy Press mode to make candy and in Resin Press mode to make resin items. A grot t'kel potion can be poured on the roll before inserting it into a Gnomic Candy Press to give a chance for items made to be magic in nature and able to be imbedded with a spell.

Analyze

You analyze the pink gold roller and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

Candy Maker Roller
A grizzly bear-cut pink gold roller is designed to be placed in a Candy Maker Machine.

The final product of the candy created while this roller is in the machine will be:
a grizzly bear-shaped <honey> candy

Magic Candy Opportunity
If you pour a grot t'kel potion on the roller you will be granted a 10% chance per candy in the batch to create a magical candy that can be imbedded with a spell.

A grizzly bear-cut pink gold roller may not be altered.

Use a grot t'kel potion to have a chance of making magical items.

Specialty Candy Maker Roller

Specialty Candy Maker Rollers have additional options available for their use. They allow for a specific design to be imprinted onto the roller via one of the available creature collection systems - insects from Bugs on Parade, birds from Jeepers Creepers, and aquatic creatures from Life Aquatic. A collection device for that creature system must first be used to obtain the base creature in paper form.

Analyze

An insect-cut copper cylinder is designed to be placed in a Candy Maker Machine or Resin Press.

Candy Maker Roller

The final product of the candy created while this roller is in the machine will be:
a ladybug-shaped <honey> candy

This particular cylinder can be used with the Bugs on Parade system, which will allow you to take a Bugs on Parade paper and PUSH it into the machine. When you do this, it transforms the roller design into a shape with the Bugs on Parade paper's image.

Example: a paper version of a plum-dotted pale yellow butterfly will produce a pale yellow butterfly-shaped <honey> candy

Resin Press Aspect
When used in the Resin Press, an insect-cut copper cylinder is considered a . In almost all cases, it will lose the -shaped part of its design.

Magic Candy/Statue Opportunity
If you pour a grot t'kel potion on the cylinder you will be granted a 10% chance per candy/statue in the batch to create a magical candy/statue that can be imbedded with a spell.

An insect-cut copper cylinder may not be altered.

Blank Candy Maker Roller Rod

Also called the Designatrix 500, a Blank Candy Maker Roller Rod allows you to select one of all available roller pattern options, permanently updating the blank roller to that roller pattern. This allows for a specific design to be selected instead of utilizing the randomly generated designs from the roller pile. Once a design has been selected, the blank roller rod turns into a fully functional Candy Maker Roller.

Analyze

Blank Candy Maker Roller Rod
A blank metal rod is a blank roller rod awaiting a design. It has not yet been shaped into a specific form.

To choose a design, follow these steps:

Step 1: GLANCE at the rod to browse all available candy roller designs.
Step 2: WHISPER to the rod a {number} to select your desired design.
Step 3: WHISPER to the rod a {number} again within 30 seconds to confirm and permanently transform a blank metal rod.

Once transformed, a blank metal rod becomes a fully functional candy roller bearing your chosen design and a randomly selected metal. This action cannot be undone.

A blank metal rod may not be altered until after it has been transformed into a roller.

WHISPER Initial You hold a blank metal rod steady and focus on the image of an apricot. The rod trembles slightly in response, but then goes still.
[Selected: 11. an apricot-cut. WHISPER to the rod 11 again within 30 seconds to confirm and permanently transform a blank metal rod into a roller.]

Confirmation You hold a blank metal rod steady as the image takes hold. The surface of the rod shudders and ripples like disturbed water, the material flowing and reshaping itself with a soft hiss. When the transformation is complete, an apricot-cut sterling silver roller rests in your hand where the rod once was, its surface etched with an impressions. Candy Machine Roller Case

The Candy Machine Roller Case is an "inator" style container that can hold a large quantity of rollers without taking up extra space.

Analyze

Candy Machine Roller Case

This is designed to hold the Candy Machine Rollers that can be obtained at Rumor Woods.

It must remain some kind of container that has a glass window on the side.

It has the following actions: LOOK (see the stored rollers), GET (remove machine), PLUCK PLUCK (remove a stored roller), PUT (add roller or machine), and WHISPER (move rollers to make them easier to PLUCK)

The case can hold 75 unique rollers, but they do not stack.
