REFERRAL Type System System Policy

REFERRAL is a policy system verb. It is part of the Verb:ASSIST system, and used to check the status of a referral after a GameHost has referred you to speak with a GameMaster, or after a GameMaster has placed you back in the referral queue.

Help

Please note: This populates with REFERRAL HELP or REFERRAL by itself.

To check on the status of your referral, type REFERRAL STATUS.
To cancel your referral, type REFERRAL CANCEL.

Usage

STATUS

REFERRAL STATUS allows one to check on the current status of their referral in the system.

Messaging Examples

• No Referral Pending

>refer status
You do not have a REFERRAL pending.  Please type ASSIST if you wish to speak with a HOST.

• Pending Referral

>refer status
Your referral to speak with a GameMaster is pending.
To cancel your referral, type REFERRAL CANCEL.

CANCEL

REFERRAL CANCEL allows one to cancel their pending referral.

Messaging

>refer cancel
Your referral has been cancelled.
