Into the Squall Recaps

The meeting on Ornath included adventurers and representatives from various locations around Elanthia (Fevronia of the Lumnasi Viragos, Tantolo the scribe of Biblia, Tirestyn the Evashiran storm-seer, Magister Odelgarde, Captain Igges, Kynsella, Atrioi). As we were all standing around discussing the mana storm and its effects, a robed figure came in and demanded that we BEHOLD. She said she was from an extraplanar world called Nyessem, and she had a handful of Elanthians with her who she called "test subjects" who seemed to have been addled and wiped of some of their memories because she said they weren't "worthy" of the power. The figure said we adventurers are worthy and invited us to her world for an exchange of power and partnership with the Our Lady the Inquisitor, Luari Maivaldius. She said we can access it through Brayern Isle, which is at the center of the mana storms, and that we would be invited in three days time when the storms would part and the way would open.

Then she poofed, and the "test subjects" went home with some of the representatives (to Solhaven, Vaalor, and Teras) to help them recover.

The woman who returned to Solhaven with Odelgarde from Ornath, who we have learned is named Saffaey, arrived in North Market. She was still in a "fugue" state but was more talkative. We learned that she didn't want to go back to her home near the Bronze Boar, and she didn't like the room of doorknobs in Zelia's Temple or find the Sisters of Lunacy helpful. She talked about how she also didn't like the rain and she didn't want to be in Solhaven. It seemed that she wanted to go back to the mana storm and she kept trying to catch a ship in Marshtown.

Eventually we convinced her to go to the Inn and rest instead, and she ran off. We then ran into Odelgarde who was looking for her, and said Saffaey had become very overwhelmed by seeing her family. Apparently she had been missing for over a year, and her family assumed she had run off with her boyfriend who is a sailor. She also insists her name is not Saffaey. All of this led to some supposition that maybe there was some body switching involved.

Odelgarde had some guards stationed at the Inn to make sure she stayed safe.
