The Caledonia

The Caledonia is a shop in the Flotilla that sells apparel and specializes in Kindred Garb. This is a rotating shop and may not be available at certain times.

Smooth wooden planks stretch across the symmetrical deck of the vessel, framed by sturdy railings that curve upward with the ship's balanced hull. A bright blue sail catches the wind above, its vibrant color contrasting with the natural wood below. A gangplank rests against the side of the ship, providing access to the dock, while a wooden door near the center of the deck leads to the sheltered interior. Blocking access, a rope is draped over the stairs that lead to the forecastle and wheel.

Polished wood paneling frames the captain's cabin, where two hammocks hang from overhead beams. An anchored broad teak desk sits by aft-facing windows that reveal the rolling ocean horizon. Warm lamplight illuminates navigational tools and rolled charts scattered across the desk's surface. At the far side, a narrow staircase descends to the cargo hold, linking living space and storage below.

Dim light filters through the wooden beams above and sturdy supports brace the space against the sea's motion. Statues of various origins, clearly taken from distant lands, are carefully placed among woven grass baskets and hampers of clothing. Thick, rough-woven cloths drape over the statues, shielding them from damage during the journey. The scent of clean, folded fabric and warm fabric dyes blends with the salty air and the musty aroma of weathered wood. You also see a narrow staircase.

Closer to the bow, the deck grows noticeably narrower and is dimly lit by shielded lanterns anchored to overhead beams. Sturdy supports brace against the ship's sway, while statues framed in crates stand among woven grass baskets and hampers of clothing. Each figure is wrapped in thick, rough-woven cloth for protection, their designs completely hidden from view.
