Dried seaweed and piles of damp sand dot the scarred teak decks of the ship, and the aroma of hard sea living -- fish guts, salty dampness, spilled rum, and the sweat of a dozen sailors -- permeates the air. At the far end, beneath sails depicting marauding krakens waving cutlasses, a pristine teak cabin sits in stark contrast to its well-worn surroundings. You also see a battered tentacle-carved gangplank covered in seaweed.

Silk and velvet drapes in all the myriad colors of the seas adorn walls of warm wood, creating a cozy shop. Several mannequins dressed with peglegs, hand hooks, and eyepatches are posed in swashbuckling stances and scattered across the floor, and a burnt-edge piece of vellum rests on a tall counter. Inlaid in the center of the far wall, a marquetry mural of wood, nacre, and ivory depicts a cadre of pirates battling a kraken.
