Analyze

This is a cooking container, utensil, or tool.

Usage Information

A whisk does not need to be held. It is used automatically if it is in hand, in the cook's inventory, in the room, or inside an open container the cook is carrying. The bowl is what gets SPINned, not the whisk.

Verb Option First Third
SPIN Bowl, with whisk Using a wire whisk, you quickly beat the contents of the copper mixing bowl, easily gliding through the concoction, eventually blending it into some whipped cream.
Roundtime: 15 sec.
Using a wire whisk, Vanah quickly beats the contents of the copper mixing bowl, easily gliding through the concoction.
SPIN Bowl, no whisk You have no whisk with which to beat the ingredients inside the copper mixing bowl. -
PUSH Bowl, with whisk You hug the copper mixing bowl, bracing it against your abdomen, and begin briskly blending the ingredients with your wire whisk. As the mixture thickens into a ball of pie dough, your pace gradually slows to a stop, the increasing resistance causing the muscles in your forearm to burn with the effort.
Roundtime: 15 sec.
Vanah hugs the copper mixing bowl, bracing it against her abdomen, and begins briskly blending the ingredients with her wire whisk. Gradually, her pace slows to a stop.

Additional Information

  • SPIN on a mixing bowl requires a whisk. Some recipes can only be made this way, such as whipping cream into whipped cream.
  • When kneading a bowl with PUSH, a spoon is used in preference to a whisk. The utensil changes the messaging only, not the result.

Restrictions

  • The whisk cannot be lightened or deepened.
  • The whisk may be dyed.
