The flippable Food is a fluff script that applies to food and drink items. They can be FLIPped into your own mouth, or FLIPped AT another character for a food fight.

Analyze

A small bag of tiny fried toads is a snack food.  You can EAT it, or FLIP it to toss a bite into your mouth.  You can also FLIP it AT someone to start a food fight, as long as you aren't hidden.
There are about 4 helpings left.

Usage Information

Examples use a small bag of tiny fried toads. The article must end in "of", and the script takes the container ("small bag") from it. The single bite ("a toad") comes from the noun. Indoors, the messaging says "towards the ceiling" and "floor". Outdoors, it says "high into the air" and "ground".

Every successful bite ends with one of three random tastes: "MMMMM, nummy!", "Yum! That was delicious!", or "MMMM mmmmm MMMM, that hit the spot!". Food that has gone stale or rotten replaces the taste with a decay message.

Flipping Into Your Mouth

FLIP with no target, or FLIP AT yourself, tosses a bite into the air to catch in your mouth. Success is based on the average of your Agility and Dexterity stats. A missed catch still uses up a helping.

Food Fight

FLIP the food AT another character in the room to flick a bite at them. You cannot do this while hidden. Your chance to hit is based on the average of your Agility and Dexterity stats, and an especially good roll gives the "Nice shot!" result. Every throw uses up a helping, hit or miss.

Additional Information

• Each EAT or FLIP uses one helping. After a bite, the script tells you roughly how many helpings remain. The container disappears with the last helping.
• Snack foods go stale over time. Fully rotten food tastes "like dirty paper" and can poison you.
• Flipping while invisible has its own messaging: onlookers see the food appear out of nowhere.
