LOOK TURN WEIGH

The fishing weight is a fluff script that applies to miscellaneous items, and is part of the Fishing equipment family of scripts. It is used with a fishing rod to catch fish via the fishing system. It optional to use when fishing but allows fish to be targeted at specific depths deeper than just the surface.

Analyze

You get the distinct sense that any willing merchant can alter the aesthetics of this blown glass weight, provided it always remains a "weight" in name.

Currently, you can use this weight for fishing. You can also try to TURN and WEIGH it.

Usage Information

Verb Option First Third
LOOK Middle Depth The weight looks like it is heavy enough to sink a line to the middle depths of a body of water. n/a
Bottom The weight looks like it is heavy enough to sink a line to the bottom of a body of water. n/a
TURN - You lightly twirl the iron weight around in your fingers. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
WEIGH Middle Depth Judging by the shape and heaviness of the volcanic rock weight, you estimate that it would be suitable for hovering in the depths rather than the bottom or the surface. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!
Bottom Judging by the shape and heaviness of the iron weight, you estimate that it would sink right to the bottom. This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!

Additional Information

A weight or sinker is an optional item to use on a fishing rod. It can be added to a fishing rod via PUT. A sinker will cause the cast line to sink to a lower depth, either middle depth or to the bottom, depending on the sinker's weight. Using either LOOK or WEIGH with a sinker will identify how far it will cause a line's hook to sink in a body of water - either to the middle depth or to the bottom.

Fishing Equipment

Main article: Fishing

Required fishing equipment to utilize the fishing system include a fishing rod, line, and lure. A sinker may also be used but is not required.

A Super-Fish-All Tackle Box can store fishing equipment, with identical lures and weights stacking inside.

Restrictions

It must always remain a "weight" in name.
