Naginata

The naginata, a pole arm weapon, is an improved variant of the halberd. It is a pole arm with a long haft topped with a blade that combines an axe head, a point and a beak capable of inflicting puncture, slash and crush damage. It has the same base weight, roundtime and damage factors as the halberd but has the advantage of 20 additional points added to each armor groups AvD. Naginatas are available from the backroom catalog at Tykel's Arms, a weapon shop, in Wehnimer's Landing.
