Subject: Re: Mana sharing
Yes, over training in Mana Control does help when sending or receiving from someone with less than 100 skill. The less skill they have, the more it takes to offset their deficiency. It's not based upon a threshold; every bit helps.
If you really want to forgo the training and still send mana, you can always have an alchemist make you a channeling crystal.

Subject: HSN: SEND updated
The SEND verb has been updated to make things a little simpler. When sending mana, the amount taken from the sender will never exceed the max amount possible for the receiver to accept. As a bonus side effect, no mana will be lost if both parties have no common mana sharing abilities.
F2P restrictions have been added to mimic beneficial spells. The restriction can be removed by purchasing a casting pass or the receiving player can choose to purchase a receiving pass to allow any F2P account to send to them. Only one pass needs to be present.
