Focus potions can be made via the potions subskill of Alchemy. When imbibed, they will increase the Casting strength of a spell of the same magical-type as the potion for one cast. Each completed recipe will yield four sips.

They are similar to Focus crystals.

The recipe for lesser elemental focus potions can be successfully made by a wizard or sorcerer with 36 ranks in Alchemic Potions.

This recipe makes a one-sip potion that will increase the casting strength for an elemental spell by 15 points for one cast. The user must have 40 or more levels.

  2. Add powdered blue sapphire
  3. Boil
  4. Add essence of water
  5. Infuse mana
  6. Add blue mist-shrouded crystal
