Clear lacquer preserves the golden hue of the oak used to create wide railings and the shelves beneath, which are fitted into the wide sides of the tanik tree at the edge of the circular platform. Silken banners spread through the branches forming a colorful roof that shimmers when sunlight filters through the leafy canopy above. Pillows lay in organized heaps among wicker baskets filled with vials of dye. You also see some wide steps (34284, open), a golden oak crate with some stuff on it and a short wooden table with some stuff on it.

Oak planks form the wide platform that surrounds this towering tanik tree, as well as the lacquered railing. Beneath the railing, a series of low shelves displays tiny vials of multi-hued dye. Tacked to the lip of each shelf, and arranged just beneath each vial of dye, are thin swatches of silk dyed to match the colors in each vial. Stretched between the railing and the edge of the silken banner roofing is a transparent sheet of gossamer. You also see a sturdy tanik stand with some stuff on it, a slender carved rack with some stuff on it and a long dark-stained shelf with some stuff on it.

Oak beams riddle the space above this platform, the lacquered wood offering support to the platform above. Dangling from hemp ropes fitted into the underside of the platform above are large pot-bellied bottles filled with colorful dyes that create a prismatic spray across the entire platform as the sunlight strikes. Banners of multi-hued silk create a gentle barrier at the platform's edges, making them safe from a long drop to the brook below. You also see a squat oak bookcase with some stuff on it, a short-legged wooden table with some stuff on it, a tall glass-paned cabinet with some stuff on it and a pale oak crate with some stuff on it.

Wide shelves follow the curve of the platform as they rise from floor to ceiling along the western and eastern edges. Transparent gossamer silk panels line the backs of the shelves to allow sunlight to filter through to create natural illumination that shimmers across the vials of dye stored there. Silk banners line the sides of a short rope bridge, forming a colorful corridor to and from a tidy workroom to the north. You also see a reinforced wooden shelf with some stuff on it, a leaf-carved monir table with some stuff on it and a wrought iron rack with some stuff on it.

Short worktables are arranged in rows around the edge of the platform, allowing the center to be kept wide and open for foot traffic as costumers and workers travel between the steps leading to the dyeing room and the colorful bannered corridor that leads into the main shop. Mannequins fitted with beautiful wings of silver wire and gaily painted gossamer silk are draped in layers of fabric. You also see a square oak table with some stuff on it, a round cherrywood table with some stuff on it, a glossy modwir table with some stuff on it, a squat ebonwood table with some stuff on it and an engraved maple stand with some stuff on it.

Oak barrels stand in a neat row against the edge of the platform, well away from the steps that lead deeper into the shop. Above the barrels, a clever pulley system is operated by a tiny wheel secured into the rough bark of the ancient tanik tree and attached to ropes that dangle over the platform's edge. Colorful banners, each splattered with various colors of wayward dye splotches, form a taught roofing system that protects from the elements while allowing the outside air to easily pass through. You also see a disgruntled clerk.

Fluttering Myriad, Private Room

Carved butterflies create a beautiful border for this large oval mirror, their bodies raised and life-like. Saffron yellow wood dyes worked into the wood give the device and warm sunny coloring that is preserved behind clear polish. An oddly formed tripod supports the device and also bears the carved talents of the original artist.
