The Dark Elf

Lunaryna Talviel, Dark Elf and Ranger, spends most her time travelling between Kraken's Fall and Kharam Dzu on her sloop The Lustrous Alabaster Zenith or haunting Twilight Hall's Historical Library. A dedicated Botanist with a focus on toxic flora, "Elle" prefers her books, plants, and creatures that reside with her; the centuries of research a large part of her life. She can most commonly be found at the main Twilight Hall manor, her office door always open to members and fellow researchers alike. When the mood strikes her, she is apt to hold lectures to share the knowledge of the use and cures for natural poisons or toxins.

She finds her passions in the pursuit of specimens for her research - insects a heavy focus, creating custom jewelry pieces, stationary, dermals and piercings, and assisting with designing various services.

A large ivory jackal skull cracked down the forehead is set against a background of deep viriscent black, a twisting halo of pure white thorned vines frames the canine skull.

Appearance

You see Historian Lunaryna Talviel the Officer of Twilight Hall.
She appears to be a Dark Elf.
She is of a slight height and has a trim build. She appears to be in the flower of life. She has opalescent, milky white eyes and pallid grey skin. She has hip-length, silky bone white hair styled into a series of loops pinioned in place by a set of thin bone hairpins capped with nacreous arathiel crescents. She has a delicately structured, aristocratic face, a pair of glaes-lensed glasses perched upon her nose and classically elegant, chiseled high cheekbones. She has a swathe of thick, silver scars climbing up her throat from her collarbone to spread up over her jaw. She has a glaes-eyed pale bone owl perched on her shoulder.
Her left cheek is pierced with a crescent-cut black nightstone.
She has a pair of small barbed black eahnor hoops in her lip, and an intricate argent design on her neck.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a pair of gilded ivory hoops with an intricate crescent moon design, a knee-length ivory linen coat with subdued leaf patterns, a mithril Twilight Hall pin, a split-sleeve pale ivory blouse draped from a sculpted ivory pectoral, some thin ivory lambskin half-gloves with gilded bone closures, a bone-trussed soft lacebark cincher, a small lacquered glowbark vasculum, a pair of soft linen leggings with pale leather accents, and a pair of ivory flyrsilk pumps lofted on twisted bone heels.

Overlaying a skeleton of mechanical sprockets and gears, the owl is constructed of bone and ivory carved to look like various types of feathers - the lighter buff areas contrasting with the deeper shaded points to give the piece life. Two pieces of vaalin-speckled glaes are inset for eyes, giving the owl a nebulous gaze as it bobs and resettles itself mechanically on gleaming alabaster talons.
There appears to be something written on it.
An antique parchment tag attached to the inside of the pale bone owl reads, "Theophilus."

Ink

  • an intricate argent design - neck

Done entirely in argent and ebon tones, the tattoo is an intricate webbing that cages her entire throat like a collar. Hard edges of the netting follow the line of her jaw, its bottom edge narrowing down to terminate in a point on her sternum. Intricate drapings of chains and gem beads grace the design in perfect symmetry, gleaming against the starkness of the webbing.

  • an ebon rose lace design - chest

Designed to splay around the ribs and under the bust, delicately inked rose-patterned ebon lace is accented with stains of sanguine and silver along leaf and flourish. Dripping with deep red gem-like tears, highlighted argent chains drape in perfect symmetry from one side to the other - several more red chains adding to the design. A single large bone cameo of a cracked jackal skull sits central in a half-bloomed ebon rose, its heavily jeweled appearance a riot of rich hues.

  • a twining pale abyran'sa tattoo - left thigh

Faint outlining and colorful shading lends a realistic look to the abyran'sa, its lengthy tail wrapping several times from her knee to mid-thigh, its arms spread wide as if holding on to her. The demon's upper body is set on the outside of her leg, its pale olivine flesh smoothly blending into the melange of vert and piceous scales of its tail. Its large, round, glossy ebon eyes stare outward from its ophidian face, the long, forked tongue flicked out between two curved fangs that hold a faint sheen.

Animal Companions

Living Beasts

Pahana
a large pale white ridge jackal
He has a twisting dark bone collar set with wicked obsidian spikes (worn).
Sleek, pale white fur binds the lean canine from the sharp ears to the end of his tail, a faint pink undertone the only color in his pelt. Gleaming pink eyes above a scarred, pointed snout constantly move, watching the surrounds sharply with an intelligent, yet feral, gaze; his ears swiveling along with his shifting attention to catch any sound. He stands three feet at the withers and has a thick ruff along his shoulders. The thin ridge along his spine is constantly prickled up in wariness.

Alo
an old peppered grey hedgehog
Though similar to a porcupine, the hedgehog is smaller and the spines are no where near as dangerous. The spines are a mottled white and grey, a testament to the hedgehog's old age, and completely cover the top and sides. You can see the soft white fur on the underside and four little pink feet underneath the protective spines. The ears aren't much more than tufts of fur, and the face is surrounded in grey, save for two small black eyes and a little whiskered snout that ends with a snubbed pink nose.

Hania
a stygian shade-lizard
Twitching and shuddering at odd intervals, the tiny creature appears to be little more than a shadow lent feeble substance. Its stygian-cored form wavers like a candle's flame, but the shade-lizard maintains a rough lizard shape augmented by odd, elongated limbs. Each of the six tendril-like legs spreads into a trio of tiny black talons. Twin pinpoints of carmine luminescence shine from where the creature's eyes ought to be.

Hototo
a small sanguine will-o'-wisp
The will-o'-wisp is no bigger than your average piece of yabathilium fruit, and glows sanguine. The will-o'-wisp appears to be content and at ease. The will-o'-wisp freely flits about the area, hovering around in a circular motion. The will-o'-wisp appears to be hungry. Through the sanguine corona, an obscured opalescent core is visible. The sanguine will-o'-wisp is fully bonded to you.

Ahote
a sleek albino mamba with silver-sheened scales

Nukpana
a crested albino lizard

Chu'si
a shaggy white-striped chipmunk

Spirit Beasts

Cara
a silver-marked pale white snowcat
Shifting on large paws meant for icy tundras, the creature is coated in snow-like fur from its pale pink nose to the coiling and lashing tail. Faint silver markings detail its slanted eyes and pointed ears, a strange icy blue hue constantly scanning in predatory alert. The cat looks as if it is hungry and very willing to solve that problem.

Kerwin
a midnight black raven From the tip of its beak to its long tail feathers, every inch of the raven is unmitigated black, but its plumage has a faint sheen that reflects the light in oil-slick colors. The bird's eyes are keen and constantly darting. Shreds of a small scroll are clutched in one of its talons, scribbled with what looks like florid poetry.
