Premium contest/2022-07 - Moving Right Along

Have you ever wanted to update your transport item to FWI to have a little bit more flare?
Well, now's your chance to design some!!

Here are the requirements:

1. Design 1st person transport messaging (no more than 200 characters).
2. Design 3rd person arrival messaging (no more than 200 characters).
3. Design 3rd person departure messaging (no more than 200 characters)..
4. Design a second 1st person transport messaging (same rules as 1).
5. Design 3rd person arrival messaging (to go with #4 and same rules as 2).
6. Design 3rd person departure messaging (to go with #4 sane same rules as 3).
7. Messaging must include <item> in the messaging.

Example of a Submission:

1. You give your <item> a gentle turn and before you can blink, your surroundings have instantly changed
2. Person suddenly appears out of nowhere, one hand moving away from her <item>..
3. Person reaches for her <item> and vanishes as soon as her fingers touch it!
4. Different 1st person messaging than 1.
5. 3rd person messaging that matches 4.
6. 3rd person messaging that matches 4.
7. All messaging includes <item>.

Entries that do not include all requirements and follow the guidelines will not be considered eligible.
Contestants have until 11:59 p.m. PT on July 31, 2022 to get entries to me.


Ten winners will be chosen from the submitted entries.

Like all Premium Monthly Contests, entries are subject to change based on the discretion
of the GMs and QC. Entries will be judged during the first week of August. Zoelle
will not judge this contest except in the rare case of a tie. The winners will be
announced as soon as possible afterwards. Zoelle reserves the right to make any changes
to items that she, or QC, deems necessary.

Entries

Aethyra

1. As you turn your <item>, a fragrant breeze laden with cherry blossoms begins to swirl around you. As the blossom-filled breeze dissipates, you find that you are no longer standing in the same place.
2. A sudden gust of wind blows into the area, alive with swirling cherry blossoms. As the blossoms settle, you see Person standing there, gently caressing her <item> before dropping her hand to her side.
3. As Person fiddles with her <item>, the wind rises around her, bringing with it a dense cloud of swirling cherry blossoms. As the fragrant wind subsides, Person is no longer standing there.
4. Colorful silk ribbons rise from fissures beneath your feet as you turn your <item>, binding you momentarily before dissolving into a vibrant mist. As the mist clears, you find yourself in a new place.
5. A colorful mist appears in the area, dispersing as Person steps out of its midst, her hand resting lightly on her <item>.
6. Person turns her <item>, which seems to cause a multitude of colorful ribbons to rise up and bind her in place. After a moment, the ribbons dissolve into a vibrant mist and Person has vanished.

Arianiss

1. As you touch <item> the world goes dark, and you feel yourself paralyzed.  To the side you hear, "Commander!  This one is still awake!" followed by another voice, "Quickly, finish their transport!"
2. A small portal appears in the air and person, their hand on their <item>, shimmers into view.  As the portal disappears with a soft *POP*, person starts to move.
3. As person touches their <item>, a small portal appears above them and you notice they have stopped moving.  Person starts to shimmer and soon they, and the portal, disappear with a soft *POP*.
4. As you touch <item> your vision blurs before it refocuses, and you bear witness to several brightly formed rainbows arching over a radiant unicorn standing amidst multicolored fluttering butterflies.
5. Person appears before you, their hand moving away from their <item>.  They seem to be staring unfocused into the distance before blinking several times and slightly shaking their head.
6. As person touches their <item> you see vibrant blue electricity arc out from it to strike them in the side of the head before they vanish.

Leafiara

1. You turn your <item> and ethereal strands coalesce into a vanity screen before you!  It grows opaque as it stretches to encircle you, then blinks out of existence, revealing new surroundings!
2. A vanity screen stretched into a circular form appears without warning, then promptly folds itself up and vanishes to reveal Person, her hand slipping away from her <item>.
3. Person turns her <item> and an ethereal vanity screen forms in front of her!  It encircles her, growing increasingly opaque until fully obscuring her, then disappears to reveal that she's gone!
4. As you turn your <item>, the ground beneath you gives way!  The world blurs as you fall, but before you know it, your feet touch down and you find yourself somewhere else...
5. Person appears to fall from the sky, clinging to his <item>, then briefly stumbles as he lands with a discombulated expression.
6. Person touches his <item> and a black void opens beneath him, sending him plummeting!  Just as the tip of his head disappears beneath ground level, the void vanishes without a trace!

Obelin

1. The moment you touch your <item>, your surroundings fracture and multiply, spinning rapidly into impossible geometry.  As quickly as it began the process reverses, leaving you standing elsewhere.
2. A pinprick of light appears nearby, only to rapidly unfold from nothing into a passable likeness of <character> with hand resting on <item>, before taking on a more substantial reality.
3. As <character> touches <item>, countless mirror images extend infinitely into a corridor stretching beyond the horizon.  The images bend and fold until they vanish, leaving no trace of the original.
4. Placing your hand atop <item> and humming a simple six note tune summons an abrupt wind carrying the remainder of the song, and instantly replacing your surroundings with someplace new.
5. A faint tune carries through the air as though from a great distance, and a gentle breeze swirls nothing but dust motes in the air.  <Character> brushes <item> clean.  How long has <he/she> been here?
6. Hand atop <item>, <Character> hums the beginning of a tune.  Sudden stinging wind causes you to blink, but you hear their song retreat into the distance.

Traiva

1. As you reach for your ITEM, a giant puma leaps toward you, knocking you out.  When you come to and slowly rise, you realize your surroundings have changed.
2. PERSON's body fades in on the ground, his fingers resting on his ITEM.  He regains consciousness and rises slowly, looking somewhat disoriented.
3. As PERSON reaches for his ITEM, a giant puma leaps toward him, knocking him out.  The puma just as quickly disappears, and the body of PERSON fades away.
4. You give your ITEM a quick turn, and an iridescent rainbow wraps around you, fully encasing your body.  When it unwinds, you find your surroundings have changed.
5. An iridescent rainbow suddenly appears, quickly unwinding to reveal PERSON moving her hand from her ITEM.
6. As PERSON gives her ITEM a quick turn, an iridescent rainbow wraps around her.  The rainbow fades, leaving no trace of PERSON.
