Uploaded Image Patrols

Ongoing record of images needing copyright/attribution information added.

It that also the case for images (looked over your page to see if someone had the same issue as mine and saw about deleted pages being completely gone). Unfortunately I don't tend to log in unless I'm editing something so I only *just* noticed about the image needing attributions. In this case the image is mine made using Poser software but the computer I made the image on is currently in need of repairs so I can't simply upload it again. I would have messaged you directly but.... I'll keep logged in for a week in look of answer. Thanks.
Hello, ZEUS. I am responding to the message you left on my image patrol log. Unfortunately File:Sayakah and Ghost.png has already been deleted from the wiki so it cannot be recovered. If you re-upload it, please make sure to note that you are the image creator per the Copyrights section of the GSwiki's Policy. If you need help with that process, I recommend posting to the Gemstone forum's wiki thread on Discord. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 11:05, 8 August 2023 (CDT)
  • User talk:CASTLEVD: Hello, CASTLEVD. I am reaching out to you about multiple images that you had previously uploaded to the wiki. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy and the requirement to note image creators, what AI imaging software was used (if any), and if permission was granted by the creator to upload the image to the wiki. I have flagged several of your images that are not in compliance. None of them are currently used on any articles and simply exist as files on the wiki. The images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
  • File:Liylith.png - Who created the image? What AI imaging software was used, if any? Was permission granted by the creator to upload this image if that person is not you?
  • File:Liylith2.png - This appears to be a duplicate image of Liylith.png and is missing the same information. Who created the image? What AI imaging software was used, if any? Was permission granted by the creator to upload this image if that person is not you?
  • File:Liylith2.png - This appears to be a duplicate image of Liylith.png and is missing the same information. Who created the image? What AI imaging software was used, if any? Was permission granted by the creator to upload this image if that person is not you?
  • File:Cadance.jpg - There is a comment on a revision update that you created this image, and the previous version of the image references Midjourney although the current revision does not. Was AI imaging software used, and if so, which software?
  • File:Cadance3.jpg - This appears to be a duplicate image of Cadance.jpg but is missing all needed information. Who created the image? What AI imaging software was used, if any? Was permission granted by the creator to upload this image if that person is not you?
If that information is not added within 7 days, these images will be deleted from the wiki. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone forum's wiki thread. Thank you for your understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 11:28, 8 August 2023 (CDT)
  • User talk:MERCEDES419: Hello, MERCEDES419. I flagged several images that you uploaded about a month ago for missing some required information on them. GSwiki has a new policy for all images uploaded to it. Please see Gswiki:Policy#Copyrights for more information about that policy. All of the images are on the same article, Kayse (prime)/5123 WL Town Council Campaign, which does include some but not all of the information needed for AI-generated images so I was not able to copy that text onto the image file. In addition to stating which AI imaging software was used, you need to note who wrote the prompt that generated each image and, if that person is not you, if you were given permission by that person to upload it to the wiki. That information needs to be on each image file as well as on all articles that use it. Lastly, each image file needs to include [[Category:AI artwork]] to properly note it as being generated by AI imaging software. The images that have been flagged as needing updated information are as follows:
If that information is not added within 7 days, these images will be deleted from the wiki. If you have any questions about this process or need more information about the updated policy for images, please reach out to the wiki team on the Gemstone [forum's wiki thread]. Thank you for your understanding. HOST-GSKEBECHET (talk) 09:58, 16 August 2023 (CDT)
