a derelict tavern built into the rock face, [Map Room #], Lich# 26527, go tavern

Wrong Turn Tavern

[Wrong Turn Tavern - 26733 - ( 8081045 )]
Built into the rock face, the derelict tavern is relatively bare, with only a handful of slipshod tables and chairs tucked under funnel-shaped glass lamps hanging from the craggy ceiling. Cluttered on one side with six tall stools, a rough-edged oak bar is covered in a milky film, and the other side is entirely bereft of clean glassware and -- perhaps the reason for the general lack of patrons -- liquor. Middling circular holes that serve as windows are cut into the rock and offer a view of the seascape to the east.

Hideaway Cavern

[Hideaway Cavern - 26743 - ( 8081046 )]
Rocky walls consisting of dark shale in some areas and limestone in others spread all around in this cozy space. A diminutive worktable, its surface covered in dust and ashes, holds a handful of blades sans hilts, some stained with sanguine and all wrought with cracks through their metal makeup. Clearly ready for display and sale, a separate collection of blades, each finely crafted into a dagger and fully intact, dangles from a braided black rope that splays across the length of the area. You also see a stone trapdoor.
Obvious exits: east
roughly carved sign
We ask that you refrain from taking anything from the worktable. Unless you want us to run out of merchandise. We suggest that you do not think about how the dead things on the bench are used in the making of said merchandise. Warm Regards, Goblyns and Ghules Enterprises

On the braided black rope you see: a wooden notice, an oddly shaped sheath of paired undertaker bat wings, a discolored siren hair-seamed wrist sheath, a brackish-hued sheath clasped with night golem fingers, a pallid grey sharkskin sheath rotted through in patches, a mica-swirled faenor push dagger, a finely honed glaes sgian achlais, a sickly green ora misericord with vathor relief imagery, a slender invar pavade with a half-melted skull pommel, a spindly black garnet-veined kaiken and a pitch black dagger glazed in dark sanguine tones.

The daggers are for rituals, and though they may involve prayer, they are not specifically tied to the Arkati. The pitch black dagger and the garnet-veined kaiken will not be very useful in combat. Hideaway Cavern, Passage

[Hideaway Cavern, Passage - 26744 - ( 8081047 )]
Damp and somewhat humid, with a small vent occasionally spurting out grey mist, the area is narrow. More like a passageway than a proper room, it stretches a goodly length, with a slope leading steeply downward at the far end. Black ropes are suspended against both of the longer cavern walls, one hung with varied daggers, the other supporting assorted small sheaths. Fending off complete darkness, funnel-shaped glass lanterns droop down from above at unevenly spaced intervals.
Obvious exits: west

Hideaway Cavern, Skyfall

[Hideaway Cavern, Skyfall - 26745 - ( 8081048 )]
Affording a spectacular view of the sea hugging some of the island's craggy shoreline, the cavern wall falls away on one side of an upward slope, completely open to the elements and a precipitous drop-off. The opposite wall expands outward, allowing ample room for the wares draped from multiple hooks and placed atop a long driftwood table. Shoved against the walls are substantial piles of dead kelp, which exude the stench of rotting sea life. Almost indiscernible in a shadowed niche, a warped door bears deep gashes.

You analyze the velvet and silk hat and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information: Currently you are able to use TAP, TILT, BOW, and KICK. If you happen to have special fangs or a ring of a similar build, you'll find that things may look a bit fancier when you use the hat. Some merchants may be able to unlock this hat to a higher tier for you.

You get a strong sense that the aesthetics of hat can be altered by any merchant. It must remain a hat or hat-like item -- something that can be worn on the head but still reasonably store small items and be "tipped." (as in tipping your hat to someone).

You can tell that the hat is as light as it can get, but you might be able to have a talented merchant deepen its pockets for you.

You analyze the platinum ring and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item type should not change."

The creator has also provided the following information: This is a Ghule ring (modern-style).

You get the sense that this ring can be altered, though there are some restrictions. Any merchant can change its base and long description, but it must remain a ring of some kind. The only elements of its show description that can be altered are the material of the ring and the COLOR of 'glow' that the gem on it is giving off.

If altering the glow color: it must be a COLOR. Stick to the actual hue/shade (not other things that it could be doing, like glowing, scintillating, or pulsing, for example), and specifically avoid "deep" in the color and "-hued" to prevent double wording in some messaging (-colored, etc. is fine). Avoid going overboard on modifiers.

Your ring is currently set to the following color: fiery red.

Currently you are able to STARE/PEER/GAZE at the ring. This ring may be unlocked further (to allow for more color options) within special, rare circumstances.

You get no sense of whether or not the ring may be further lightened.

Currently you are able to use OPEN, CLOSE, WAVE, BOW, WEAR, and REMOVE with the cloak. If you happen to have special fangs of a similar build, you'll find that things may look a bit fancier when you use the cloak. This cloak can be unlocked to a second tier by any willing Ebon Gate Festival merchant and by a handful of merchants outside of that festival.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the black silk cloak for you or deepen its pockets.

--------- RITUAL DAGGER ITEM - ANALYZE INFO ---------
This is a Ritual Dagger item. Really, this just means that it has verb traps geared toward performing rituals.
The item is dual-tiered: there are verb tiers, and then there are additional special ability add-ons. Nearly all verb traps allow for targets (use VERB my knife WITH/AT (target)), and there are other factors that will introduce some variety. Currently there are 2 verb tiers and 4 special ability add-ons (permanent scarring, commune, intercession, and sacrificing). Generally, unlocking from Tier 1 to 2 will be offered on occasion as a specialized service; however, the add-ons will be extremely rare and should be considered a pie-in-the-sky type of service.
The Tier 1 verbs on this knife are:

Damp and somewhat humid, with a small vent occasionally spurting out grey mist, the area is narrow. This blood potion is intended to be a ritualistic potion of some sort. You can try to POUR, TURN, TILT, DRINK, and MEASURE it.
Some skilled merchants can alter this potion. It can have a long or a show desription, though generally the visible description should match up in some way with its contents. Ideally, the noun is a container (since you are pouring out of it), though in some cases something more generic like "potion" will be acceptable. You should also be explicit with the merchant about what sort of liquid is contained within it. The liquid will always need to make sense within this phrasing: "a circular stain of <liquid descriptor> <liquid noun>" -- and it must be appropriate for pouring out and leaving a visible stain on the ground, such as "blood", "venom," and things of that nature. Note that the <liquid noun> must fit within 15 characters. The <liquid descriptor> can be longer but most merchants willl not allow counts to go too far beyond 15. (Currently the liquid is: silver-streaked blood.)

WTT Entry

[Wrong Turn Tavern] RNUM: 26733
Built into the rock face, the derelict tavern is relatively bare, with only a handful of slipshod tables and chairs tucked under funnel-shaped glass lamps hanging from the craggy ceiling. Cluttered on one side with six tall stools, a rough-edged oak bar is covered in a milky film, and the other side is entirely bereft of clean glassware and -- perhaps the reason for the general lack of patrons -- liquor. Middling circular holes that serve as windows are cut into the rock and offer a view of the seascape to the east.

[Hideaway Cavern]
Rocky walls consisting of dark shale in some areas and limestone in others spread all around in this cozy space. A diminutive worktable, its surface covered in dust and ashes, holds a handful of blades sans hilts, some stained with sanguine and all wrought with cracks through their metal makeup. Clearly ready for display and sale, a separate collection of blades, each finely crafted into a dagger and fully intact, dangles from a braided black rope that splays across the length of the area.
Obvious exits: east
We ask that you refrain from taking anything from the worktable. Unless you want us to run out of merchandise.
We suggest that you do not think about how the dead things on the bench are used in the making of said merchandise.

The daggers are for rituals, and though they may involve prayer, they are not specifically tied to the Arkati.

The gold kaiken and the emerald ritual dagger will not be very useful in combat. The other dagger-based blades are useful in combat and employ an enchant as close to vultite's as is possible for their natural base material.
