Helvetia Eryx Faendryl is the Basilican Magistrate of the Basilica, and the first wife (of four) of Korvath Dardanus Faendryl, Patriarch XXXIX of House Faendryl. Helvetia was born into a prominent family of the Clerisy, and currently holds the role Basilican Magistrate in the Rachis. Helvetia is the head of government in New Ta'Faendryl, responsible for directing the Pentact to be in accord with the will of the Patriarch. The Arch Chancellors and the Chancellors of the Rachis answer to her directly, below which is the entire bureaucracy for enacting or enforcing the laws of the Patriarch.
