Lihukshi's group just came through a wide velvet-draped arch.

From through the large ogee arch steps a page, his small body clad in the blue and silver livery of House Illistim.  He is holding a large silver-encased book.

Perigourd takes a moment to observe Auait.

Speaking evenly in Faendryl to Perigourd, Auait says something you don't understand.

The boy places the silver-encased book on the seat of the chair and steps back.

Speaking to Perigourd, Missoni says, "She says they are sheathed."

Yardie blinks at Auait.

Anieit glances around the room.

A member of the Sapphire Guard pounds the butt of his halberd against the stone floor -- once, twice, three times.  His compatriots snap to attention.  The guardsman, his voice deep, announces, "Lord Aeriadrn Ghaeriden, Seneschal."

Speaking quietly to Auait, Yardie says, "Madame Blade."

Walking behind the Seneschal, a procession of blue-clad attendants files quietly down the center aisle.  In each pair of hands is a quill and at each waist is a scroll-tube.  The procession takes up places at either side of the rostrum.

Speaking to Auait, Perigourd says, "It's not my court to judge."

Perigourd shrugs nonchalantly at Auait.

Auait inclines her head.

Again, the member of the Sapphire Guard pounds the butt of his halberd against the stone floor -- rapping three times.  His booming voice announces, "The Ladies and Lord Councillors of Thrones."

Several women, and one man, process through the Argentate towards the rostrum.  Their pace is slow, though dignified, and several are helped along by solicitous pages.

Anieit shifts his weight.

A member of the Sapphire Guard pounds the butt of his halberd against the stone floor -- each sharp rap sounding like a crack of thunder.  Around the room, several ladies drop into curtsies and men into half bows.  The guardsman, his voice deep, announces, "Argent Mirror Myasara Illistim, her Illumination, Head of House Illistim, Monarch of the Illistimi People, Defender of Ta'Illistim and Keeper of Knowledge.

Myasara's group just came through a wide velvet-draped arch.

Lithyia sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Akenna bows her head slightly toward Myasara as she drops into a deep, respectful curtsy before her.

Myasara's attendants arrive.

Missoni curtsies to Myasara.

Tylanthriel bows to Myasara.

Salcy sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Teveriel bows deeply at the waist, honoring Myasara.

Jaysehn bows respectfully before Myasara, his eyes fixed firmly on the ground.

Cylnthia sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Vorena curtsies to Myasara.

Tikba turns to Myasara and bows low, spreading her wings for all to see.

Arranging his face into a formal expression, Perigourd gives a respectful bow to Myasara, one hand going to his suede hood to keep it in place.

Aureliano bows to Myasara.

Temlar bows to Myasara.

With a graceful movement of her hands, Carew lowers her head and sinks into a formal curtsy before Myasara.

Straightening her back, Orelwen gives a formal, low curtsy.  She inclines her head as well, giving a brief nod.

Myasara passes through the open aisle in the center of the assembled crowd, pausing before the rostrum.  She regards the large chair and the book atop it with respect, then takes her own seat on the lower throne.

Myasara walks over to the throne and settles down.

Lithyia turns to face Myasara.

Eruien gazes at Myasara.

Yardie turns to face Myasara.

Yardie bows to Myasara.

Myasara smiles at those gathered, her eyes searching the room.

Speaking to her pudgy kitten, Fyg whispers aloud, "You have to behave, Petunia."

Lihukshi folds her hands behind her back.

Aeriadrn says, "Argent Mirror."

Aeriadrn says, "There are several visitors here today from New Ta'Faendryl that wish to present a petition."

Teveriel glances appraisingly at Lihukshi.

Myasara says, "A request was presented to me and the reason for this audience today." 

Myasara says, "Would those guests please step forward." 

Anieit gives a sidelong glance around the room.

Lihukshi strides a few steps forward.

Fyg looks thoughtfully at Anieit.

Auait strides a few steps forward.

Anieit gives a sidelong glance at Auait.

Aureliano takes a moment to observe Anieit.

Myasara says, "Be welcome here in the Court of Ta'Illistim." 

Anieit shifts his weight towards Auait.

Tikba glances between Myasara and Lihukshi.

Myasara says, "I understand there is a dire issue you wish to put before us." 

Lihukshi formally says, "Lustrous Argent Mirror Myasara whose gaze influences the Illistimi -- we, the Tristar of family Daesavreh, stand before you in honor of the old ways to seek permission to continue our search for betrayers of House Faendryl."

Anieit introduces, "I am Anieit Daesavreh, a sorcerer of our family."

Myasara nods.

Auait evenly announces, "Blade Auait Daesavreh."

Lihukshi says, "Watch Lihukshi Daesavreh."

Uniana gazes with interest at Lihukshi.

Salcy takes a moment to observe Lihukshi.

Lihukshi explains, "As you undoubtedly know by now, having had three days to perform your own investigations, there are those in the wild that betray the laws and edicts set for by both our people."

Lihukshi contends, "Three months ago, we were commissioned by the Basillica to investigate rumors slipped through the desert with insidious intent.   We found ourselves in the Jewel of the Wastes within days to discover that rumors of a human sorcery that performed demonic summonings without safeguards.  At first, the rumors of his shadow quelled us that he at least had a guardian."

Auait interjects, "A sloppy one, but at least present..."

Lihukshi agrees with Auait.

Anieit says, "However, we hugged the coastline as we tracked them northward.  Always a day or two behind them from since our departure in Behizet, we found they had cut inlaid near the swamps and mires as if they intended to go to Barret s Gorge.  It was then that we realized the shadow was non-other-than the Betrayer Enomna, Disgraced of New Ta Faendryl."

Lihukshi continues, "Crossing the Feywrot Mire, we began to see signs of excavations.  We almost had them on the outskirts of Ta Nalfein where her borders touch the mountains.  There is an edge of desperation in their movements and actions, which lends them an air of unpredictability."

Myasara watches the trio, her eyes steady as she listens. 

Auait calmly says, "The Betrayer emptied an entire village graveyard that she sent after us when we attempted to confront her.  By the time we were done protecting the small village, they had escaped us once again."

Auait simply says, "Vexing as that was, we were able to track them outside the northern settlement of Mreanith Lake.  However, what greeted us there was worse."

Anieit evenly explains, "Henshor, the human, released a Vathor within the settlement, while the Betrayer emptied their cemetery."

Lithyia turns an inquisitive ear toward Auait.

Myasara frowns.

Lihukshi says, "We performed our duties, both dispatching the rampaging demon back to his vale and laying each and every villager to rest.  Honoring them, as they deserved."

Tikba looks thoughtfully at Lihukshi.

Myasara nods slowly. 

Anieit says, "Based on our findings in that settlement, we know two things."

Anieit holds up his index finger.

Anieit says, "The first is that the Betrayer seems to be seeking some means of elongating Henshor s life.  She has sought old tomes in each of the places that we have been to and we now believe she will attempt to raise a large enough army to keep the Ithzir in Old Ta Faendryl at bay long enough to search the ruins for some archive.  Obviously, she s deluded as anything of value is long gone.  Again, there is a desperation to her movements."

Auait flexes her hand as she clenches and unclenches her fist.

Auait says, "The second is that Henshor is wounded."

Anieit holds up a second finger.

Myasara nods. 

Salcy turns an inquisitive ear toward Anieit.

Anieit requests, "With your permission, we seek to find them and bring them to justice.  If possible, to bring the Betrayer back to New Ta'Faendryl, bound and gagged, as a present for the Patriach."

Lihukshi quickly adds, "In addition..."

Lihukshi respectfully says, "We ask that you stay your proud and noble Sapphire Guard.  We, admittedly, have failed in this task and it should not be your burden and risk to take.  Yet, it has hardened our resolve and there is much that the pair have to answer for both in these lands and in our own.  We will concede that aid would be welcome from those trusted within your walls that have the ability and nerve to do so."

Anieit frowns.

Auait quietly concludes, "Our goal is singular.  Capture them so that we may spare anymore innocent lives being lost to their tyranny."

Tikba nods thoughtfully at Lihukshi.

Teveriel looks thoughtfully at Lihukshi.

Tavore gazes with interest at Lihukshi.

Aureliano whispers to the group, "They are asking for aid but not from the Sapphire guard? That is.. an odd position to take."

Anieit turns his gaze briefly downward, but he looks back up to the Argent Mirror after a few moments.

{{blue|Myasara says, "You have our appreciation for coming to us as you have." 

Myasara says, "The last time a summoner from your home terrorized our city, there were harsh consequences." 

{{blue|Myasara says, "We agree that such happenings cannot go unchecked."

Myasara asks, "We also feel that perhaps the Old City is a decoy, has that been considered?" 

Yardie blinks at Auait.

Lihukshi slowly says, "There have been other considerations."

Myasara says, "Our own archives are extensive." 

Lihukshi says, "It did not seem prudent to list things that could not be based in the facts of our tracking."

Myasara says, "As is right, but as leader of our House I must think of all things that affect our people." 

Auait quietly says, "The distance between ourselves and the pair could be increasing exponentially."

Lihukshi clenches her jaw.

Lihukshi inclines her head.

Myasara says, "But we also agree that there is danger here and we appreciate your position." 

Myasara says, "We will grant you your request." 

Myasara says, "There have been many in service who desire to make wrongs right, and yours is admirable." 

Myasara says, "We have one stipulation." 

Teveriel looks thoughtfully at Myasara.

Lihukshi raises an eyebrow.

Aureliano turns an inquisitive ear toward Myasara.

Anieit raises an eyebrow.

Agathilea turns an inquisitive ear toward Myasara.

Lithyia turns to face Myasara.

Myasara says, "You will allow those who wish to accompany you to do so." 

Anieit gives a sidelong glance at Auait.

Myasara says, "And they will be brought here before you bring them to New Ta'Faendryl." 

Tikba looks thoughtfully at Myasara.

Lihukshi nods.

Myasara says, "At that point our own guards and elemancers will assist." 

Myasara says, "To ensure the protection of all in the city, of course." 

Lithyia turns an inquisitive ear toward Myasara.

Anieit nods slightly at Auait.

Lihukshi carefully inquires, "And if they do not survive?"

Myasara says, "You may present what remains or a unique tale as to what happened." 

Lihukshi says, "So it will be."

Lihukshi inclines her head.

Myasara says, "While we are not pleased that this chase has brought them to a place where they can harm our people, we recognize your knowledge of protocol and your honesty with your part in this." 

Tylanthriel whispers to the group, "I thought Lihukshi was asking if the Sapphire Guard was not to survive at first, but I see they mean the betrayer."

Myasara nods at Lihukshi. 

Salcy glances at Myasara.

Anieit glances at Auait.

Myasara says, "What has been said will stand." 

Lithyia turns to face Myasara.

Myasara nods at Aeriadrn. 

Tikba glances between Archales and Myasara.

Speaking quietly to himself, Yardie mutters, "It never ends."

Aeriadrn says, "Those of you who would work with the visitors, will discuss their plans directly with them."

A member of the Sapphire Guard pounds the butt of his halberd against the stone floor -- once, twice, three times.

Aeriadrn says, "This special session of the Court of Ta'Illistim is adjourned."

Myasara stands up. 

Yardie turns to face Auait.

Missoni curtsies to Myasara.

Cylnthia sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Lithyia curtsies to Myasara.

Akenna bows her head slightly toward Myasara as she drops into a deep, respectful curtsy before her.

Perigourd bows deeply at the waist, honoring Myasara.

Tikba turns to Myasara and bows low, spreading her wings for all to see.

Salcy sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Straightening her back, Ysaeril gives a formal, low curtsy to Myasara.  She inclines her head as well, giving Myasara a brief nod.

Teveriel bows deeply at the waist, honoring Myasara.

Fyg sinks down in a deep curtsy before Myasara, her lashes lowered.

Yardie bows to Myasara.

Vorena curtsies to Myasara.

Tylanthriel bows to Myasara.

Speaking to Auait, Anieit whispers aloud, "We may speak now?"

Jaysehn bows respectfully before Myasara, his eyes fixed firmly on the ground.

Tikba appears to be struggling to keep a straight face as she glances at Anieit.

Fyg giggles at Anieit.

Lihukshi turns to face Auait.

Myasara nods to those in the chamber before looking straight ahead and leaving the chamber. 

Myasara's group just went through a wide velvet-draped arch. 

Speaking to Anieit, Auait whispers aloud, "Now we may speak freely."

Anieit nods at Auait.

Auait nods to Yardie in greeting.

Talinvor glances between Auait and Archales.

Lihukshi says, "I believe we had to wait for the Reflection to leave."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Yardie says, "I...still don't understand the rules, truthfully."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Auait says, "Else we upset the rest of her council."

Speaking to Yardie, Lihukshi says, "They are layered and many."

Anieit says, "It was hard for me to remember all of the rules the Ambassador went over."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Yardie says, "Far...too many."

Speaking politely to Aeriadrn, Uniana asks, "Seneschal?"

Tikba lightly says, "There is one rule. Be polite."

Speaking to Tikba, Yardie says, "I applauded."

Speaking to Tikba, Lihukshi asks, "Were we not?"

Speaking to Tikba, Yardie says, "I earned glowers."

Aeriadrn says, "You may linger and discuss as needed."

Eruien looks thoughtfully at Auait.

Lithyia says, "Well that was..."

Archales says, "I thought it was very well presented."

Speaking appreciatively to Aeriadrn, Ysaeril says, "Thank you kindly, Lord Seneschal."

Aeriadrn says, "Lady Ysaeril."

Speaking respectfully to Lihukshi, Tikba says, "It is not my place to say, but I would have done things much as you did."

Lihukshi inclines her head.

Speaking to Lihukshi, Teveriel assures, "You conducted yourselves well. None could fault you for failing to pay proper respect."

Speaking to Uniana, Lucrecea asks, "Oh?  Was that a change?"

Speaking to Uniana, Lihukshi says, "It would appear that rudeness is a one-way traffic...."

Anieit nods appreciatively at Teveriel.

Yardie grins at Lihukshi.

Lihukshi nods at Teveriel.

Lithyia glances between Lihukshi and Uniana.

Lucrecea lightly says, "A pity I never heard."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Alanisse says, "I wish to offer my services, and it I may be so bold, the services of those willing and available in my class, the Vanguard of Mahkra, to capture this betrayer and her...human.."

Speaking to Lucrecea, Uniana says, "Or perhaps my lace looks especially threatening."

Speaking to Uniana, Missoni says, "I was not aware fans were disallowed in Court. How odd."

Speaking to Missoni, Perigourd says, "I expect only certain ones."

Speaking to Alanisse, Yardie says, "You beat me to it.....I am glad you did."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Tikba says, "I am sure we are all grateful to you for your efforts in tracking these betrayers."

Anieit looks thoughtfully at Alanisse.

Lihukshi nods at Alanisse.

Eruien says, "I am not fit to assist in such a matter, so I will stay here with my paintbrushes and inks."

Speaking nervously to Anieit, Yardie says, "She speaks for our class.  We can inform the others, but....you have me, should you need me."

Lihukshi says, "The Blade of the Tristar is your best conduit."

Speaking to Missoni, Teveriel says, "Likely a new security measure inspired by the thorough policies of Vaalorian court."

Speaking evenly to Anieit, Auait says, "We followed the protocol, but I do not believe the gravity of our mission was truly conveyed."

Speaking to Tikba, Lihukshi says, "It is our duty."

Speaking to Eruien, Lucrecea says, "Perhaps you could paint a suitable homage to the event, once it has concluded."

Tikba nods understandingly at Lihukshi.

Speaking thoughtfully to Teveriel, Missoni says, "Interesting."

Alanisse turns to face Auait.

Speaking to Eruien, Fyg says, "There's much to be appreciated in capturing the tales on canvas! I am learning, myself."

Speaking to Talinvor, Yardie says, "Lots of reasons....but I guess....power."

Lithyia says, "Pardon me."

Speaking to Auait, Perigourd says, "Perhaps you could elaborate then."

Speaking to Eruien, Uniana whispers aloud, "But only if they are victorious."

Speaking to Talinvor, Yardie says, "We do have rules."

Speaking to Auait, Alanisse says, "Have you a use for us? We are familiar with the terrain and the people."

Lihukshi slowly empties her lungs.

Speaking curiously to Yardie, Talinvor asks, "And how was her human injured, that she is seeking to prolong his life?"

Lihukshi says, "It is surprising that the courts have not heard the rumors."


Missoni cocks her head at Lihukshi.

Orelwen looks thoughtfully at Lihukshi.

Speaking to Talinvor, Anieit says, "He was not injured at the start of this."

Speaking simply to Talinvor, Anieit states, "He is old."

Speaking carefully to Jaysehn, Lihukshi says, "I will do my task and present to the twins the options."

Speaking to Talinvor, Yardie says, "Well, I'm not certain.  But in that regard, I would ask Xorus or Missoni.  They are...well I trust their knoweldge as well."

Speaking simply to Perigourd, Auait says, "The sorcerer and the Betrayer left an entire settlement to dust and ashes.  We were not able to rescue a single survivor."

Murstyr turns to face Lihukshi.

Speaking in Faendryl, Xorus says something you don't understand.

Lihukshi turns to face Murstyr.

Speaking to Anieit, Talinvor says, "I see. So this is apparently more straightforward than I had hoped."

Tikba politely says, "We are fortunate to have Yardie and Alanisse here, who are Palestra as well."

Xorus says, "There are quite a few methods of dark magic for unnaturally extending mortality. The parasitic human Collectors of the Southron Wastes, for instance, feed upon the power of relics."

Talinvor nods once at Anieit.

(Uniana flicks her fan towards Auait as she whispers to Teveriel.)

Xorus says, "I am curious to know what it is exactly they seek."

Aliashyrah says, "It seems a theme of late to hear of those wishing to unnaturally prolong life."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Murstyr asks, "And where do you think they are now?"

Speaking to Xorus, Jaysehn says, "We anticipated their desire, and I assumed they would go north to the Hinterwilds. Follow in Zeban's work."

Speaking slowly to Xorus, Lihukshi says, "And yet, she left the Wastes weeks past."

Speaking to Xorus, Auait says, "We wish to inquire the same, their methods and their trail are haphazard at best."

Tavore says, "The too-soon promise of death has a way of changing perspectives."

Speaking to Talinvor, Anieit asks, "You hoped for something more complicated?"

Anieit frowns at Talinvor.

Speaking to Murstyr, Lihukshi says, "Kristuh and I believe they are somewhere on the northwestern woods."

Speaking to Alanisse, Yardie says, "Inform the Vanguard regardless, yes?  I know they would help fight, should they be called.  It's our responsibility."

Speaking wryly to Anieit, Talinvor asks, "Of course. Who does not enjoy a good plot twist?"

Missoni looks thoughtfully at Lihukshi.

Speaking to Auait, Yardie says, "Haphazard means desperation."

Speaking coolly to Talinvor, Anieit says, "Someone who has more of a mind for protecting the innocent than for drama."

Lihukshi stands up taller, tension in her spine and jaw.

Talinvor raises an eyebrow in Anieit's direction.

Speaking to Yardie, Aliashyrah says, "It also means increasingly unpredictable and chaotic."

Talinvor dubiously says, "Uhhuh."

Speaking to Yardie, Alanisse says, "We are in a position unique to most, and of course will do what is needed."

Speaking to Lihukshi, Akenna asks, "I would like to help you.  Tell me how I can?"

Speaking to Murstyr, Lihukshi says, "Because we have learned, and you had to be told."

Speaking to Aliashyrah, Yardie says, "Undisciplined.  The opposite of Faendryl."

Akenna smiles at Lihukshi.

Speaking evenly to Yardie, Auait says, "It is our responsibility, but as my cousin stated, we will not decline additional hands in capturing them."

Anieit gives a sidelong glance at Auait.

Speaking to Perigourd, Orelwen says, "One would assume because she betrayed House Faendryl?  The name seems pretty clear."

Speaking to Orelwen, Perigourd says, "I was more curious to the specific circumstances."

Speaking to Perigourd, Uniana says, "As am I,"

Speaking to Orelwen, Perigourd says, "Knowing more about a quarry may make them easier to track, and defeat."

Speaking to Auait, Yardie says, "You will have them.  This....this is similar to the stories of the Senary our mothers would tell us."

Lihukshi glances at Temlar.

Speaking to Alanisse, Yardie says, "At least....my mother."

Auait nods briefly at Anieit.

Temlar says, "If it is an offensive question, I apologize, but it might be relevant."

Akenna says, "My help comes free, there will be no debt owed. I want to ensure that no further lives are lost."

Speaking to Talinvor, Anieit says, "A favor?  We have requested no one be compelled to join us.  If someone is, it is of their own free will and desire."

Speaking to Temlar, Yardie says, "I assume some sort of summoning without permission.  I doubt her husband is Palestra."

Speaking slowly to Talinvor, Lihukshi says, "Are you so embroiled in Illistimi affairs that you are able to discern the level of debt one embodies?  What is your count up to, Dhe'nar."

Yardie snickers at Lihukshi.

Speaking mildly to Akenna, Uniana murmurs, "Not even for a small chest of pristine lor?"

Auait vaguely says, "If aiding us to prevent further tragedies within the nations would be considered a favor...I mourn for its people."

Speaking to Temlar, Yardie asks, "Husband...is it even husband?"

Jaysehn says, "Perhaps we can come to the matter at hand. Where and when do you begin the hunt? I recall some urgency being mentioned."

Yardie nods at Auait.

Anieit asks, "We know that Peltaste Alanisse wishes to offer aid.  Are there others?"

Speaking to Auait, Uniana says, "It absolutely comes as duty to those who call this place home."

Speaking to Uniana, Akenna says, "I mean, some pristine lor is always welcomed, but I ask for nothing. I just want to make sure people are safe."

Speaking in Elven, Aureliano interjects, "House Vaalor has an interest in this threat that is so close to our own borders. We would like some of our House included in this."

Speaking to Anieit, Teveriel says, "I will offer my shield."

Speaking to Anieit, Jaysehn says, "I stand for the Order of Voln. I will come."

Speaking to Talinvor, Lihukshi says, "Wonderful.  Then perhaps you should maintain an inner dialog."

Speaking quietly to Yardie, Carew says, "I shall send forth notice to all in the class of the need of their skills."

Agathilea grins at Lihukshi.

Perigourd says, "If I can help I will. Slaying demons and those who summon them are not unknown to me."

Akenna says, "I shall help."

Speaking amusedly to Lihukshi, Talinvor says, "Or perhaps the rudeness could inspire a different approach, *faendryl*."

Speaking meekly to Anieit, Ysaeril offers, "I shall try, though the old city is a recipe for disaster in my experience."

Speaking to Missoni, Perigourd says, "Only the latter in some cases."

Speaking to Talinvor, Yardie asks, "You're doing this now?"

Speaking wryly to Perigourd, Missoni says, "I am aware."

Lihukshi pointedly turns her back to Talinvor.

Murstyr says, "The matter at hand is, you are to capture these people who have been slipping through your fingers before they cause issues here."

Speaking to Aureliano, Anieit asks, "We welcome the trustworthy that wish, of their own desire, to aid...  I am wary of bringing people as a "House."  Is this on the order of your king?"

Meril says, "It will take an extensive and careful web to catch desperate hornets. I will help as well if I am able."

Speaking to Murstyr, Lihukshi asks, "Your Mirror gave us leave to do so.  Did you wish to join the ranks or are you here to harass?"

Orelwen glances between Anieit and Aureliano.

Murstyr says, "I am here to make sure our people are protected, as is my duty and position."

Speaking in Elven to Anieit, Aureliano clarifies, "I only meant that our House would have an interest. We will not be formally representing our King or the Crimson Legion."

Anieit nods at Aureliano.

Uniana carefully says, "I will attend the hunt alongside my lord husband so long as I am not a liability on the field of battle."

Aureliano nods politely at Anieit.

Speaking in Elven to Aureliano, Anieit says, "Then please assist."

Speaking to Murstyr, Lihukshi says, "So are we.  I've dug enough graves this month to last a lifetime.  Trust my words, they will not elude me again."

Lihukshi agrees with Akenna.

Speaking quietly to Murstyr, Talinvor whispers aloud, "This was clearly masked as a request for help, given the Argent Mirror's prolacivites. Had they not needed it, they would have succeeded long before."
