Synopsis
In the camp, future Baron Elidal thanks everyone for defeating Gnul. Archious is there and the Obsidian Tower has a response for Elidal: rejection of a request not made as a leader of his people speaking to a foreign power, but a lord speaking to his vassal. He says Elidal is here because of his parentage, not merits, and his lectures are a stunning display of naivete. He explains that the Dhe'nar's Way regard willing entrance of outsiders into service as a necessary facet and says they need not be the next enemy to rise against the barony and there is room for understanding between them, but not until Elidal is ready to speak to them with the appropriate respect. Elidal says he had hope building, but is more disappointed than surprised, and expresses that at least the Obsidian Tower's walls cracked at his words, which is how change begins.
Soon, Mother arrives in the crowd and says the Brotherhood of Rooks have held their hand and waited for Wehnimer's Landing to deliver their message of telling Elidal and his settlers to return home, but instead helped raise his towers and widen his walls. She calls Earl Jovery's decree a carefully designed illusion of words that can be easily discarded, then says the Rooks aren't unreasonable and don't wish for anyone's death: so they have until Charlatos to fold their tents, take down their towers and walls, and return to Imperial borders. She says the North can be unforgiving and they've been warned, then leaves as the settlers let her pass.
Afterward, Elidal says Gnul didn't chase away the settlers and neither will the Brotherhood. A young settler approaches and says he's worried about Ethan and Rae, who haven't returned in two days. Elidal and the others get information from the camp cartographer on where they usually go and she points them toward Aillidh Brae, where they found the corpse of a male human that Elidal identifies as Ethan. Marshal Stormyrain's loresong reveals a figure in a krolvin hide cloak emerging to strike Ethan down with a hatchet while his lover Rae flees.
The group looks for Rae, but find a giantman hunter who says he already returned her to Surtey Akrash. Elidal says he's never seen so much death and thanks everyone for their help against Gnul and seeking Ethan and Rae, then leaves after promising to inform Ethan's father to get his body. Afterward, the rest of the group meets Surtey Akrash, who says Rae had pased away and was taken away by town officials.

Speaking With Elidal
[Town Square Central]
This is the heart of the main square of Wehnimer's Landing. The impromptu shops of the bazaar are clustered around this central gathering place, where townsfolk, travellers, and adventurers meet to talk, conspire or raise expeditions to the far-flung reaches of Elanith. At the north end, an old well, with moss-covered stones and a craggy roof, is shaded from the moonlight by a strong, robust tree. The oak is tall and straight, and it is apparent that the roots run deep. You also see the Lankas disk, a vexed crevasse spirit that is flying around, a gargantuan cloudy grey tiger, a sulky wasteland spirit that is flying around, a black-toed saddleback foxhound, an inlaid leather grimoire soaring around with its gilt-swept ethereal violet pinions, the web-draped Missoni disk, a lazy wild reddish-black dog, the Kelfyr disk, a grizzled porcupine, the skull-shaped Irval disk, the Arahnim disk, a ghostly black hawk, a frost-covered ebon seed-eyed dusky-grained zebrawood mandrake, the repousse copper Perigourd disk raised in leafy designs, the Guarrin disk, a happy ocean spirit that is flying around, the Emperia disk, a sinuous bone white serpent that is sitting, a leaf-embossed slender tobacco tin, the Guennwhfar disk, the flaming Nairena disk, a pale-faced coppery barn owl, the Boiba disk, a round silver-banded barrel, an herbal remedy donation bin, some wide stone benches with some stuff on it and an old well.
Also here: Notnil, Whurack, Great Lord Lankas, Sir Geijon, Town Councilor Kayse, Great Lady Urpy, Town Councilor Vaemyr, Jaffrey, Town Councilor Kiyna, Tikba, Leifa, Missoni, Spharai, Kelfyr, Grand Lord Arahnim, Grand Lord Irval, Dame Evia, Peltast Vaeldrys, Mourdeyan, Vorta, Alosaka, Perigourd, Sir Cryheart, Sir Guarrin, Hospitaller Yukito, Lady Emperia, Stormyrain, Chamorr, Lady Nairena, Lady Guennwhfar, Markx, Boiba, Andromalius who is sitting
[General] Elidal thinks, "We have cause to celebrate this night, but also to reflect. Victory rarely comes without loss. I should be along to the bonfire in the campsite shortly, if any wish to join me soon."
Speaking to Urpy, Yardie says, "It's....interesting to say the lead."
Speaking to Cryheart, Guarrin says, "Let's head to the camp."
Speaking to Urpy, Yardie says, "Err, least."
Speaking melodically to Yardie, Urpy says, "So... about these nails... I chipped one last night on tha pylon. Or maybe it was the eye beams..."
[Realm] Geijon thinks, "Eve Lord Elidal."
Cryheart says, "Ok..moving to the bonfire."
Chamorr heartily says, "Wow, soo close."
Irval says, "They seem to have faired the attack with Gnul very well..."
[Imperial Campsite]
A roaring bonfire demands attention from the center of this temporary town, its coppery gold flames mesmerizing as they dance. Rows of tents bordering the fire create purposeful pathways to other areas of the camp. You also see a gargantuan cloudy grey tiger, the Guennwhfar disk, the Guarrin disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, the flaming Nairena disk, the Emperia disk, the Kelfyr disk, the skull-shaped Irval disk, the Arahnim disk, a grizzled porcupine, a happy ocean spirit that is flying around, a lazy wild reddish-black dog, a black-toed saddleback foxhound, a sulky wasteland spirit that is flying around, a lively tawny deer mouse, a flexuous smoky ochre abyran'sa, an animated flayed gigas disciple, a long piece of cord, a stained wooden keg and a long wooden log.
Settler Samfelt just arrived.
Cryheart says, "Evening, Samfelt."
Speaking heartily to Samfelt, Chamorr says, "Howdy."
Samfelt deeply says, "Hello everyone."
Dendum offers Samfelt a tumbler of Woodland Green whiskey.
Samfelt accepts Dendum's Woodland Green whiskey.
Samfelt nods appreciatively at Dendum.
Speaking to Urpy, Yardie whispers aloud, "Make an appointment. I'll arrange for a decent color and shine."
Speaking melodically to Yardie, Urpy says, "You always say that."
Speaking to Urpy, Yardie says, "I'm always on the move."
Samfelt deeply says, "Thank you. You should all have a glass I think, I am certain Lord Elidal will ask you to raise it."
Speaking deeply to Urpy, Wharwick says, "Now now, the man's busy. Don't be a brat."
Speaking to Samfelt, Irval says, "You see now why we always have our weapons out when venturing the exterior."
Picking up a nearby stick, Samfelt idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
[General] Toxyrox asks, "Where is the campsite?"
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaemyr says, "I think I'll pass, I'm glad Gnul is defeated, but I can't say I'm in too much of a mood to celebrate with broken buildings, hurt people, damaged streets and much rebuilding to do."
Samfelt deeply says, "The iron and wood we gathered was helpful to defend the campsite. It has kept away pests at night, as well as the harsher winds when the storm was at its worst."
Speaking in Guildspeak to a flexuous smoky ochre abyran'sa, Lylia hisses something you don't understand.
Guarrin says, "I am glad to hear it."
Lord Elidal's group just arrived.
Toxyrox melodically says, "Ah okay."
Speaking melodically to Samfelt, Urpy says, "Seems the campsite is so confident of it's defences that it shuts down its pylon mid fight."
Elidal nods at Toxyrox.
Toxyrox melodically says, "Thank you."
Elidal says, "See, it was on the way."
Elidal bows to Toxyrox.
Speaking heartily to Samfelt, Chamorr says, "Coulda kept alotta landin folks warm."
Missoni greets, "Lord Elidal."
Samfelt bows.
Elidal waves.
Speaking melodically to Chamorr, Urpy says, "Still can."
Elidal says, "Good evening everyone."
Cryheart says, "Good evening."
Lankas says, "It IS a good evening."
Speaking to Elidal, Goldstr says, "Evenin Sir."
Speaking to Elidal, Vaemyr says, "Evening."
Speaking to Elidal, Lylia says, "Good evening to you."
Elidal says, "I want to thank everyone for your tireless efforts and heroics in defeating Gnul."
Chamorr heartily says, "Whle lotta bowin goin on."
Cryheart says, "Welcome."
Vaemyr says, "We did what we had to do, nothing more."
Elidal says, "I know many will say he was a threat that was born by my presence here, but in truth, creatures and evil like Gnul need little excuse to wage war, to raze, and to kill."
Goldstr exclaims, "Was a satisfyin job!"
Speaking deeply to Elidal, Wharwick says, "We defend our homes. There is nothing more to it."
Samfelt nods in agreement at Elidal.
Elidal says, "Perhaps we were a convenient excuse at the time, but regardless, the threat of Gnul is gone."
Samfelt lets out a cheer!
Speaking to Elidal, Vaemyr says, "Unfortunately not whomever helped supply him behind the scenes."
Archious says, "I will admit I am pleased his facilities have been removed from Sentoph."
Kayse evenly says, "He is only one part of the equation possibly."
Elidal says, "I'm sure we still have questions surrounding him, and if he truly had...strings, and that we will continue to seek."
Elidal nods at Archious.
The Obsidian Tower and the Barony
Elidal says, "Speaking of the Sentoph..."
Elidal grins at Archious.
Elidal asks, "I understand the Tower has formed a response?"
Elidal peers quizzically at Archious.
Archious nods slowly.
Speaking bluntly to Elidal, Archious states, "Your request is rejected."
Irval says, "This should be entertaining."
Archious derisively continues, "Because you have not made it as a leader of your people, speaking to a foreign power, but as a lord speaking to his vassal. We are not yours to command."
Elidal smiles.
Kiyna flatly says, "How surprising."
Speaking to Elidal, Archious says, "For one who has so directly and so vastly benefited from the oppression of other races to stand before me and lecture the Firstborn is insulting. You are here because of your parentage, not because of your merits. Your station is built on the backs of those you have held down. To stand upon them and lecture *us* is a stunning display of naivete."
Samfelt works his fingers under his kidskin hat and scratches his head.
Samfelt glances about with a look of concern on his face.
Archious boldly offers, "However, it should be noted that while we do take outsiders into our service, the willing entrance into that service is a necessary facet. If it were possible to force you all to hew to the Way, Sharath would have imposed it on you long ago."
Leifa agrees, "Here, here."
Archious continues, "As for the Khanshael, our trusted companions, it is true they started as slaves. We took Greetok dwarves and tried to bend them to our will. We were not prepared for their strength of will, and they threw off our yoke long ago. They stand today as our proudest example of what the teachings of the Prophet and the guidance of the Firstborn can do when a people give themselves over completely."
Perigourd says, "We all have our own way."
Yardie mutters, "Break someone's will into servitude and then call it a willing act. Amusing."
Elidal nods at Archious.
Archious says, "Enemies rise against you, and though you struck at one last night, new ones will appear. Your position is not secure, and you need to close off routes of threat. A leader must learn to humble himself and place the needs of his people before his own vanity. As you expected Commander Sablo to do. We need not be the next to rise against you."
Speaking melodically to Yardie, Urpy says, "Down right comedic, in fact."
Sunwu says, "They never broke us."
Archious concludes, "We make no apology for doing what was necessary for our people to survive after the Downfall. Here in the North, we have no further need of such measures. The Tower will not establish nor maintain them, but nor can we direct the action of every Firstborn. There is room for understanding between us, but not until you are ready to speak to us with the appropriate respect."
Speaking to Sunwu, Yardie says, "So you say."
Speaking to Yardie, Sunwu asks, "Ya see any chains about me?"
Elidal says, "I see..."
Picking up a nearby stick, Samfelt idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
Elidal asks, "Are you quite finished then?"
Urpy melodically says, "Ain't no chains on me..."
Cryheart whispers something to Guarrin.
Elidal says, "I cannot say I am surprised."
Speaking to Elidal, Archious says, "Unless you have no further questions, eii."
Elidal says, "No...actually..."
Leifa whispers something to Lylia.
Elidal says, "I suppose with each passing day that went by without a response, I did have some measure of hope building."
Elidal nods at Archious.
Elidal says, "A flaw? Or a strength? Some will always debate that."
Speaking to Elidal, Archious says, "The unwashed masses of slaves you envision within our walls are not there."
Perigourd whispers something to Missoni.
Elidal says, "I am far more disappointed than surprised."
Picking up a nearby stick, Samfelt idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
Picking up a nearby stick, Evia idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
Samfelt nods in agreement at Evia.
Evia grins at Samfelt.
Urpy melodically asks, "So the slaves are bathed regularly?"
Elidal says, "If nothing more, the words of a human caused the Obsidian Tower to pause. Your walls cracked, rather you wish to admit it or not. You reflected, you discussed it, you consider what it would look like if you accepted, or rejected it."
Elidal says, "That is how change truly begins. Not in some sweeping statement or roundabout."
Elidal says, "But cracks."
Elidal winks.
Speaking to Elidal, Archious says, "Perhaps we will both gain some understanding of the other."
Elidal says, "Perhaps we will."
Elidal says, "I can respect that, and I do not think our discussion is over."
Archious loudly says, "The Way is open to all who would follow it. It is not open to those who would not."
Irval says, "I think they trying to recruit you into their cult...ure."
Speaking to Elidal, Geijon says, "Wehnimer's long left th' Dhe'nar as is. It's a wise view to continue their autonomy."
Speaking to Irval, Archious says, "We will teach any who will learn. And yes, it does include a measure of service."
Archious says, "But ask those here today who have been in our service if they were forced."
Archious says, "Or if we prevented them from ending that service."
Elidal looks towards the settlers.
Speaking to Elidal, Archious says, "I will linger if you wish to discuss more, but I suspect you have other things to discuss tonight."
Speaking to Yardie, Geijon says, "They resist. One could spend weeks discussing this one."
Speaking in Faendryl, Lylia dryly observes something you don't understand.
Mother's Warning
Some of the settlers step aside, while others seem to almost lean in, trying to see, trying to hear, as a tall figure approaches garbed in a billowing black cloak and featureless black mask etched with blood red sigils.
Speaking to himself, Yardie says, "I've always been bad with directions. Never know which Way I'm going."
Mother moves to the edge of the crowd, but still close enough that the flames of the bonfire throw dancing shadows along her smooth visage.
Dendum repeats, "Cracks."
Elidal asks, "Ah. Mother I presume?"
Geijon whispers something to Yardie.
Evia says, "She presumes."
Elidal says, "Casiphia Malatina of Mestanir."
Mother smiles.
Kiyna flatly says, "Well, now it's a party."
Samfelt leans over and whispers to a group of settlers, glancing over his shoulder before moving closer to the bonfire.
Mother softly says, "The use of my name garners you nothing young prince."
Mother holds up her hands, letting her cloak billow out wide.
Evia whispers something to Mourdeyan.
Picking up a nearby stick, Samfelt idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
Urpy melodically asks, "Prince?"
Mother softly says, "I come only to bring words."
Elidal says, "I think she means it in an insulting way."
Elidal nods at Urpy.
Elidal says, "Somehow."
Evia says, "Oh goodie we have such a lack of words."
Thrassus says, "Give her a bit, maybe one of her other personalities will surface."
Elidal says, "Like, I am a spoiled prince of some sorts."
Speaking to Mother, Geijon says, "Many have been too kind to you, take off your mask among us."
Lylia acidly remarks, "We are all hanging upon them, I am sure."
Geijon says, "Casiphia."
Mother softly says, "Take off yours."
Mother nods at Geijon.
Speaking heartily to Elidal, Chamorr says, "Wait, you were given a barony."
Geijon turns to face Mother.
Samfelt deeply says, "The warmth of the fire is inviting all sorts to the camp tonight."
Speaking melodically to Elidal, Urpy says, "Well, being a prince of the Empire WOULD be quite the insult. I'll conceed that."
Speaking to Samfelt, Lylia says, "Odd, usually wild animals are wary about approaching a fire."
Speaking heartily to Elidal, Chamorr says, "Was that fer yer birthday."
Mother looks to the groups of settlers at the edge of the bonfire, many of them watching and listening.
Tikba whispers something to Dendum.
Speaking to Mother, Irval says, "You know its rather foolish for you to show yourself. After what you had done to me."
Xorus says, "I do not know about all that. I have heard the crown prince has the most golden eyes. Blessed by Phoen."
Geijon says, "She wants something or to gloat."
Elidal says, "Let's hear it then."
Elidal nods.
Speaking to Irval, Yardie whispers aloud, "You seem to not have many supporters."
Mother softly says, "The Brotherhood of Rooks have held their hand, and waited for the so-called protectors and heroes of Wehnimer's Landing to deliver our message for us. To tell you Elidal, and your settlers, to return home. To build lives within the borders you have."
Speaking melodically to Yardie, Urpy says, "Recall brother, there are some who would say that of us."
Geijon whispers something to Irval.
Mother softly says, "Instead, they helped unfurl your tents, raise your towers, and widen your walls."
Evia says, "How...original."
Speaking to Mother, Perigourd says, "Indeed."
Speaking heartily to Mother, Chamorr says, "This is true."
Missoni firmly says, "We surely did."
Tikba mildly says, "Walls that were perhaps not well manned tonight."
Speaking to Mother, Lylia says, "Do you now govern? I do not recall voting for you."
Cryheart says, "And many enjoyed it to aid the settlers."
Speaking to Mother, Thrassus says, "Some prefer order in thier environments."
Mother softly says, "The great dying Earl has sent a sweeping decree that was designed to placate the minds and hearts of others with but illusions. It seems your brother is not the only master of such."
Chamorr heartily says, "Some prefer bowin to their masters."
Speaking to Alosaka, Kothos says, "Thank you for being convenient."
Mother softly says, "Words..."
Mother softly says, "We know how quickly they can be discarded by those of the Empire. History has shown us that."
Lylia coldly says, "I have more profitable things to do."
Imperatrix Lylia just went southeast.
Speaking to Mother, Geijon asks, "You had a chance at redemption when Thadston pardoned, but you return to this. What is wrong with you?"
Mother softly asks, "We are to think it is suddenly different?"
Mother softly asks, "To return to what? Words?"
Mother laughs at Geijon!
Mother softly asks, "Do my words frighten you?"
Mother peers quizzically at Guarrin.
Mother peers quizzically at Geijon.
Speaking to Mother, Geijon says, "You are a murderer."
Irval says, "No arrows in the dark do."
Vaeldrys asks, "Who is this?"
Speaking to Mother, Goldstr asks, "Casi! Ye canna accept a neighboring ally?"
Speaking melodically to Geijon, Urpy asks, "Aren't we all?"
Speaking to Mother, Guarrin says, "I have not said anything to you, I am patiently waiting for you to finish whatever it is you are here to say."
Speaking to Vaeldrys, Vaemyr says, "The leader of the Rooks."
Mother looks again to the crowd of settlers, and turns slightly towards them.
Vaeldrys says, "Ah."
Speaking melodically to Alosaka, Urpy says, "Pacifists asside."
Speaking to Urpy, Alosaka says, "It is possible to be a warrior and not a murderer."
Mother softly says, "I mistook you for Geijon. You chained knights all look the same."
Picking up a nearby stick, Samfelt idly prods the wood in the blazing bonfire, sending tiny motes of glowing ember into the air above.
Mother nods at Guarrin.
Mother smirks.
Speaking melodically to Alosaka, Urpy asks, "Does the hobgoblin believe that?"
Mourdeyan says, "Hardly."
Evia says, "How odd."
Cryheart says, "Settlers, dinnae listen to this mother. Speaking of history, the Rooks hae in the past used children as shields."
Evia says, "Methinks someone needs spectacles."
Kothos says, "You call vows and service chains."
Mother softly says, "We are not unreasonable...and we know that the sting of winter still lingers heavily in this area, and we do not wish for anyone's death in this camp."
Samfelt frowns.
Mother softly says, "So I will declare this..."
Speaking to Urpy, Alosaka says, "I don't know what the hobgoblin believes, but I have a value system with virtues that honors life. When I must take it in combat, it is as a last resort. That is not murder."
Evia says, "Ooh a declaration."
Speaking to Mother, Thrassus says, "Obviously, that's why you hung effigies of them previously."
Speaking to Kothos, Tikba murmurs, "The Ta'stry'noi made a similar point."
Mother softly says, "...and settlers, may you hear it louder than your child baron would have you...."
Speaking melodically to Alosaka, Urpy asks, "All death at the hands of the blade is murder. Some justify it more than others. Do the rooks not also have a code and virtues of their onw?"
Mother softly says, "You have until the month of Charlatos to fold your tents, strike down your towers and walls, and return to the borders you have known for ages."
Speaking to Tikba, Kothos asks, "Ta'stry'noi?"
Perigourd asks, "So we're dealing in ultimatums now?"
Speaking to Mother, Guarrin asks, "...or?"
Mourdeyan says, "Oooh goody."
Mother softly says, "Because death is merely an end, and there are worse punishments, and harsher sufferings to endure."
Speaking to Mother, Geijon asks, "You would threaten those who have destroyed your organization countless times and killed your leaders for this obstruction of justice and free will?"
Speaking to Perigourd, Dendum asks, ""Are we not standing in an ultimatum?"
Speaking to Mother, Kothos says, "You'll murder the settlers."
Kothos says, "Say it."
Speaking to Urpy, Alosaka says, "If you truly believe that any death by blade is murder, then we have little common ground for a discussion. Our values are too far apart."
Mother softly says, "The North can be unforgiving."
Speaking to Mother, Geijon says, "You are insane."
Speaking to Dendum, Perigourd says, "No, we're not."
Mother softly says, "You have been warned."
Speaking melodically to Alosaka, Urpy says, "It seems so."
Samfelt takes a few steps back.
Mother looks directly at the settlers.
Kothos says, "Stop with the sideways threats and say it. You'll kill innocent people."
Evia says, "Shove off then."
Mother softly says, "Charlatos."
Mother slips off into the dark of the campsite, and this time every single settler nearby steps aside to let her pass.
Irval says, "You know technically aren't you a criminal to the empire. As the rooks are. And yet here you stand in , guess what, imperial lords, next to an imperial lord, with a not so hostile TRUE HERO"S of landing stand."
Irval says, "Dangit."
Missing Persons
Elidal sighs.
Leifa mouths, "But why?"
Dendum reminds, ""The landing remains open for any who wish to live free in the north."
Speaking to Leifa, Thrassus says, "She is insane and needs help."
Goldstr says, "I tinks Casi finally has gone mad."
Elidal says, "She is a troubled woman."
Yardie says, "This won't bode well."
Speaking to Dendum, Alosaka asks, "Just not the spaces outside the Landing, hm?"
Lankas says, "You can say that again...."
Mourdeyan asks, "She's a troubled woman?"
Lylia says, "Which is why I refuse to hear her."
Elidal sighs.
Lylia says, "You do not do a kindness to the mad by hearing them out and embracing their madness."
Speaking to Elidal, Irval asks, "She had me murdered you know. Could you technically of detained her since this is considered your ruling juristiction?"
Elidal says, "Let not her threats diminish our victory."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "She is troubled, but I am also sure she means it."
Geijon says, "I will not be threatened about free will."
Goldstr says, "Aye She was better off in love wid Sir Andrews."
Speaking melodically to Irval, Urpy asks, "Were you killed in imperial lands?"
Speaking to Elidal, Vaemyr says, "She will follow through."
Elidal says, "The settlers of Darkstone are of strong resolve."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "We will have to prepare. And following such a harsh winter, it'll be hard enough already, never mind with the Rooks."
Elidal says, "Gnul did not chase them way. Nor will the Brotherhood."
Speaking heartily to Elidal, Chamorr asks, "Have you armed them yet?"
Elidal says, "Or any other threat."
Elidal nods at Kothos.
Elidal says, "Our army will grow, by spring, yes."
Elidal nods at Chamorr.
Lylia whispers something to Elidal.
Yardie asks, "Army?"
Elidal smirks at Lylia.
Speaking deeply to Elidal, Wharwick asks, "Your army, you say?"
[General] Ouidanna thinks, "Ok this is a sign, I got bandits twice. Does anyone near 32 times to the trainer want to do bandits with me. I am in Icemule Town Center."
Chamorr heartily says, "So, settlers become an army."
Lylia murmurs, "It is how we would handle such a matter."
Speaking to Yardie, Thrassus says, "A barony needs a military."
Tikba mildly says, "Barons often have armies."
Evia says, "Maybe they should re-name themselves the Motherhood."
Speaking melodically to Chamorr, Urpy says, "They already were."
A young settler steps out from the crowd, and slowly approaches Elidal.
Alosaka asks, "Can we all acknowledge what Mother has clearly been telling us? That she intends to kill everyone in these walls if they do not do her bidding by Charlatos?"
Speaking to Thrassus, Yardie says, "This will...well...it won't bode well, I fear."
Elidal furrows his brow.
Chamorr heartily says, "Oops."
Speaking to Alosaka, Guarrin says, "Yes, that seems to be the statement."
Kayse notes, "She said nothing about murder."
Speaking to Alosaka, Kothos says, "Despite being unwilling to specifically say it."
Vaemyr whispers something to Elidal.
Yardie repeats, "Most professionals never do."
Speaking melodically to Yardie, Urpy says, "I suddenly find myself more willing to listen to the Mother."
The young settler says, "Lord, I am sorry to pester you...but with Commander Sablo gone...I am worried about something."
Speaking melodically to Elidal, Toxyrox asks, "An innocent question. When were you planning on disbanding this camp?"
Thrassus says, "Indeed, she threatened them with a fate worse than death."
Elidal asks, "Yes?"
Speaking dryly to Kayse, Alosaka says, "Right. She just said that she didn't want anyone her to die, and they should all leave to make sure it didn't happen."
Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd says, "Her inference was rather clear."
Speaking to Alosaka, Guarrin says, "Unless we are being specific about what was meant by suffering."
Speaking heartily to Elidal, Chamorr says, "Perhaps ya kin take your army and take the tower."
Speaking to Thrassus, Lylia asks, "What, more of her lectures and humorless droning?"
Xorus says, "Threatening with fates worse than death was my platform. That is blatant theft."
Speaking to Lylia, Kothos says, "That would do it."
[Realm] Yukito asks, "I am becoming curious about the notion of freedom. Is freedom living the life the way that you wish to live it, and allow others to do the same? Or is freedom making a stance of "absolutely not" and imposing one's will on others?"
Speaking indifferently to Perigourd, Kayse says, "I suppose you and Alosaka know best."
The young settler says, "Ethan and Rae haven't returned in two days. I'm a little too worried to go check alone."
Speaking to Kayse, Alosaka says, "Your ability to overlook clear threats continues to impress me."
Elidal asks, "The whittler's son?"
Kothos asks, "Ethan and Rae?"
Samfelt rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Speaking to a young settler, Thrassus asks, "Where were they last headed?"
Kothos asks, "How old are they?"
Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd asks, "Than you believe she is simply fear mongering?"
Vaemyr says, "Do you know where they might of gone? Many of us have... experitise rescuing kids from the wilds around here."
Speaking to Alosaka, Kayse says, "Funny, because I was the one constantly petitioning to do something about Gnul."
Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd asks, "And if so, what was the point of coming here to frighten settlers?"
Speaking to Elidal, Geijon says, "Many of your settlers have been in th' city of late."
Speaking to Perigourd, Kayse says, "To scare them off."
Speaking to Kayse, Perigourd says, "Also ignoble."
Kothos says, "We could go ask the Adventurer's Guild, they have a mystic who can have visions of lost children."
The settler shrugs, "I am not sure where or what it's called. They always bring back these dark-orange flowers. Rae seemed to love them."
Elidal ponders.
Thrassus asks, "Dark orange flowers?"
Leifa repeats, "Flowers?"
Kothos asks, "...remember anything else about them?"
Samfelt deeply asks, "Has anyone seen flowers that color?"
Cryheart says, "I dinnae recall such flowers."
Evia says, "I donno."
Kothos asks, "Milkweed?"
Kayse asks, "Copper rain lilies? Orange tiger lilies?"
The settler shrugs, "They were always so bright, even at night in the moonlight."
Evia says, "Hm."
Vaemyr says, "Huh..."
Speaking to a young settler, Goldstr asks, "Dey have a smell?"
Elidal says, "Hmm."
Missoni muses, "Moonflowers are not usually orange..."
Mourdeyan asks, "Nightshade?"
Kothos asks, "Butterfly weed is a bright orange, but they don't bloom this early, do they?"
Elidal says, "We'll see it looked into, thank you."
Elidal nods to a young settler.
Vaeldrys says, "Interesting description for a flower..."
Jaffrey asks, "Moon sedge?"
Speaking to Elidal, Geijon asks, "Have you heard of Lady Kasendra's death, one hopes it untrue, Lord Elidal?"
Speaking to a young settler, Dendum asks, ""Near the shrine?"
Kayse offers, "Butterfly weed."
Thrassus says, "Nightshade tends to be purple."
Elidal frowns at Geijon.
Elidal says, "I had been awaiting more details but..."
Elidal frowns.
Geijon adopts an agreeable expression.
Elidal says, "I had heard. I had hoped only a cruel rumor."
Vaeldrys says, "Perhaps mother took them..."
[General] Devoryah thinks, "Get out your knife and attack."
Speaking to Thrassus, Kiyna says, "It looks like this."
Speaking to Elidal, Guarrin says, "It is confirmed."
Thrassus says, "It is true, unfortunately."
Elidal frowns at Guarrin.
Elidal asks, "...and Salnim? He knows?"
Speaking grimly to Elidal, Guarrin says, "He does."
Mourdeyan says, "This very nooning."
Elidal shakes his head.
Thrassus says, "I was at the brunch where he found out."
Elidal says, "I cannot even imagine if Ar.."
Elidal says, "I cannot imagine what he feels now."
Thrassus says, "He was beside himself."
Xorus says, "The Illistim detained people in the Keep and are now investigating."
Elidal says, "Perhaps I will spend sometime south a bit, meeting with him."
Elidal nods at Xorus.
[General] Devoryah thinks, "You are not trying hard enough."
Elidal says, "As they rightfully should of course."
Wharwick deeply says, "Were I a commander in need of more forces to anex a territory, what better way than to make it appear as if an assisination of one of mine own had been carried out in said territory."
Samfelt deeply says, "Not good to be out missing in this storm."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "I am sure he would appreciate support, my lord."
Elidal asks, "Will you all please join me?"
Elidal nods at Samfelt.
Wharwick deeply says, "Not saying that's what happened..."
Elidal nods at Kothos.
[people joining]
Speaking to Elidal, Kiyna asks, "For what?"
Samfelt put a tumbler of Woodland Green whiskey in his dark leather jacket.
Speaking to Wharwick, Alosaka observes, "She died in Ta'Illistim."
[General] Devoryah thinks, "It takes time to cut yourself out."
Cryheart says, "'I hear Lord Salnim is in a rage."
Elidal says, "We can only hope for justice for Kasendra and peace for Salnim. Both daunting tasks."
Speaking to Cryheart, Guarrin says, "That is inaccurate."
Speaking deeply to Alosaka, Wharwick says, "I am aware."
Samfelt nods slowly.
[travel]
Speaking deeply to Alosaka, Wharwick says, "Merely idle speculation."
Cryheart says, "My source says he is taking it out on Gurbah."
[General] Vurkannan thinks, "Think Next time, avoid roa'ter mouths."
Elidal frowns at Cryheart.
Kothos says, "I will never understand why I can reach out to some who have passed and not others."
Chamorr heartily says, "Always a shame when the ruling class gets whacked."
Cryheart says, "Venting I should say."
Speaking to Cryheart, Guarrin says, "It was suggested he train."
Kothos says, "I can only grieve her, and worry for her loved ones. It is most humbling."
Lylia says, "The Argent Mirror is bending all her considerable resources to rooting out the assassin."
Speaking to Elidal, Kiyna asks, "Where are we going?"
Kothos says, "The shrine, I believe."
Elidal says, "No..."
Lankas asks, "Are we looking for something?"
[Imperial Campsite]
Numerous fire pits sit unattended outside faded canvas tents, their embers still faintly glowing despite the lack of flames. The glimmer of metal flickers beyond the edge of the forest, accompanied by the clanking of armor as several Imperial soldiers continue their patrols. You also see a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord, a long piece of cord and a bright-eyed half-elven cartographer that is lying down.
Kelfyr asks, "Are the camp folks ill?"
Elidal nods to the half-elven cartographer.
Tikba says, "They have tripped on the cord."
Elidal begins chuckling at Tikba!
Elidal glances at a bright-eyed half-elven cartographer.
The cartographer smiles, her bright blue eyes gleaming.
The cartographer says, "M'Lord?"
Speaking to a bright-eyed half-elven cartographer, Alosaka gushes, "I love your work."
Elidal says, "We need assistance."
Speaking to Alosaka, Kothos says, "I can see the gleam in your eyes from here."
Elidal says, "Ethan and Rae have not returned from, well...whatever it is they were doing."
Elidal chuckles.
Elidal says, "We believe it may have been in an area somewhere nearby, where Rae could have found some dark-orange flowers that shine even at night."
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "Perhaps Sirenflowers."
Speaking to Elidal, Kiyna says, "The adventurer's guild's diviners are usually able to quickly locate missing children, if this first search does not go well."
The cartographer says, "Aillidh Brae."
Alosaka says, "Oh, that's near the Holding."
Speaking to Dendum, Tikba asks, "Is that near the shrine?"
Elidal says, "Well...."
Elidal bows to a bright-eyed half-elven cartographer.
Elidal says, "Thank you."
Goldstr says, "An near da Krols."
Alosaka says, "Vaguely."
Lylia adds, "And not far from the Alabaster Spire."
The cartographer says, "A pleasure M'Lord."
Perigourd says, "It's toward the Enclave."
Elidal asks, "Who can lead us there?"
Lankas asks, "By Reivers?"
Speaking to Lankas, Perigourd says, "On the way to Luinne Bheinn, yes."
Vaemyr says, "It's near the reiver settlement yes."
Xorus says, "Yes. On the way to the Reiver settlement."
Arahnim says, "The Reivers..."
Geijon says, "Perigourd likely."
Elidal designates Perigourd as the new leader of the group.
Speaking to Kiyna, Kothos says, "I made that suggestion a bit ago, I think it would work well."
Elidal nods at Perigourd.
Lankas says, "The old mine road map."
Elidal asks, "Shall we?"
Missoni says, "Perhaps they stopped to visit with Jock."
Alosaka says, "There's two routes. By the old spider temple, and a roundabout way through the Glatoph, of all places."
Kothos says, "But Perigourd is a devoted servant of that shrine."
Searching
Perigourd says, "Moving then."
[travel]
Goldstr says, "I drink wid Jock often."
Samfelt deeply asks, "What were they doing up near the highlands? Just to get some flowers?"
Irval says, "Kids."
Speaking to Samfelt, Alosaka says, "Chidlren."
Speaking to Samfelt, Leifa says, "Seems perfectly normal to me."
The voice of Dendum asks, "Did no one warn the settlers about the fact they are not wanted by the Reivers?"
Tikba mildly says, "It would be quite dangerous for them to cross the river into unclaimed territory."
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaemyr says, "You have not seen what kids get up to around here... they end up anywhere and everywhere... probably cause there's so many adventurers around, they try an emulate us."
Samfelt deeply says, "I've never met a reiver. Wouldn't know what you are warning me against."
Kiyna says, "We get children turning up in all manner of nigh-comically lethal locales. Probably emulating the Landing's famous adventurers."
Alosaka says, "Children somehow get into Darkstone, the depths of Stone Valley."
The voice of Dendum says, "Free people of the north....of human blood."
Lankas says, "In the broken lands..."
Kelfyr says, "Might have been scared up the boulder by some coy-otes."
Speaking to Samfelt, Goldstr says, "Reivers be our friends."
Vaeldrys says, "I just rescued three today from the giants in Stone Valley."
Speaking to Kiyna, Kothos says, "I can't tell you how many I've drug out of the Bowels. I try not to make jokes about it, but..."
Corpse Appraisal
[Aillidh Brae, Slope]
Prickly bushes dominate the slopes -- their dark-orange flowers attracting countless fireflies. The colors are so vibrant, you can distinguish them easily in the moonlight. The flowery slope ends abruptly further down, as it crashes into a dark forest. You also see a savagely butchered human corpse.
Irval says, "The confluence..."
Lankas says, "The monastery."
Leifa says, "Yes, this is the area."
Elidal blinks.
Samfelt stares at a savagely butchered human corpse.
>l corps
The corpse was once that of a young male human, whose eyes are still wide open in horror and death. Blood has splattered up to cover his chin and mouth, its source originating from the dozen, jagged wounds that have brutally shredded his chest and abdomen. A whittling knife is still gripped in his cold fingers.
Samfelt kneels down.
Elidal's face turns slightly pale.
Elidal stands in front of a savagely butchered human corpse.
Elidal kneels down.
Speaking to Alosaka, Kothos says, "I can't get a response."
Elidal says, "...that is Ethan."
Irval says, "Oh thats...not good."
Elidal clenches his jaw.
Alosaka says, "He's cold."
Samfelt stands up.
Lankas says, "I cannot link to raise him."
Samfelt nods at Elidal.
Samfelt deeply says, "It is..."
Alosaka says, "There was one more."
Thrassus says, "The Krolvin are nearby."
Missoni weakly whispers aloud, "Oh, poor Ethan."
Kiyna says, "...Looks like the wounds of a beast, to my eye."
Kayse slowly asks, "How can you tell?"
Speaking to Perigourd, Alosaka says, "Keep moving."
Kothos says, "He has defensive wounds."
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "We ought to search for the other."
Alosaka pulls Elidal to his feet.
Kelfyr says, "As are manticores, thraks, orcs, ogres..."
Lankas says, "Thraks and manticores."
Speaking to Elidal, Alosaka says, "Priorities."
Lankas says, "Ogres."
Goldstr says, "Mussa a been da Krol."
Kelfyr says, "This isn't a great area for picking flowers."
Kothos says, "He may have given Rae time to get away."
Guarrin says, "Perhaps so."
Elidal slowly empties his lungs.
Bellaja says, "One can hope."
Elidal kneels down.
Speaking to Stormyrain, Thrassus asks, "Sing to the corpse?"
Elidal glances at a savagely butchered human corpse.
Kothos says, "Hope is a charity we can all afford."
Irval asks, "Take it with us?"
Samfelt deeply asks, "That is the same knife isn't it?"
Samfelt deeply asks, "M'Lord?"
Irval says, "Him..."
Stormyrain focuses her concentration, briefly studying the composition of a savagely butchered human corpse.
Speaking in Guildspeak, Stormyrain asks something you don't understand.
Speaking quietly to Stormyrain, Kothos says, "I'm sorry."
Speaking in Guildspeak, Toxyrox melodically says something you don't understand.
[General] Urpy thinks, "Scuttlebutt says the invoker is enroute to the small park."
Irval says, "We must not tarry, if we are to find the other..."
Elidal takes one of Ethan's cold hands in his briefly.
Mourdeyan says, "Child."
Tikba says, "Rae may yet live."
Samfelt frowns.
Samfelt removes a fel-hafted logging axe from in his leather axe frog.
Kothos says, "A moment for pity, then."
Kayse says, "Stormy is seeing if it has a story."
Elidal says, "...he has been dead for over a day, close to two perhaps."
Kayse stresses, "Patience."
Kiyna somberly says, "Dozens of small, jagged wounds... mainly on the chest. Not ogres or krol. A thrak or manticore, most likely..."
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "Perhaps he was trying to defend Rae."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "It's still possible that Rae is hidden."
Kelfyr says, "The child may have sought shelter in the Bheinn."
Mourdeyan says, "Or someone bent on makin it appear so."
Evia asks, "Puma?"
Speaking to Evia, Kiyna says, "Could be."
Lankas says, "An animal would have fed. SOrry to be gross."
Goldstr says, "Might be da Krol grabbed her."
Cryheart asks, "Ye ok?"
Kothos says, "...I know, I know."
Tikba quietly says, "If the desire is terror, the Rooks would have no reason to conceal their act."
Kothos asks, "I had to try, yes?"
Speaking to Kothos, Perigourd says, "Yes."
Speaking to Lankas, Dendum says, "We have not seen the second one."
Samfelt just closed a high-collared dark leather jacket fastened with thick fel toggles.
Elidal glances between Stormyrain and a savagely butchered human corpse.
Kothos says, "He's not much older than my daughter."
Thrassus says, "The wounds are too jagged for well-made weapons such as the Rooks would have."
Speaking melodically in Guildspeak to Stormyrain, Toxyrox asks something you don't understand.
Leifa asks, "Aren't grimswarm camps known to post around these parts?"
Tikba says, "There is no camp nearby."
Stormyrain sings something in Guildspeak to a savagely butchered human corpse that you don't understand.
The butchered human corpse seems to respond to the magic of Stormyrain's song.
Stormyrain blinks, staring off into the distance.
Thrassus says, "Also they'd have put the corpse up on display somehow."
Yardie says, "And the warcats are near the volcano. Would not be here."
Elidal peers quizzically at Stormyrain.
Stormyrain offers, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. Before you sits a young man, with barely the first signs of scruff along his chin and upper lip. He whittles away at a wooden block in his lap, eyes focused on his work and only occasionally looking up to admire a young woman seen weaving a basket near a roaring bonfire. The sound of hammers on nails echoes in the distance."
Kothos says, "The bears and boars are not so far off, but again, they likely wouldn't have left him here."
Stormyrain sings something in Guildspeak to a savagely butchered human corpse that you don't understand.
The butchered human corpse seems to respond to the magic of Stormyrain's song.
Stormyrain blinks, staring off into the distance.
Stormyrain continues, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. The young man's scruff has grown, but remains sparse in areas, clearly visible when he offers a wide grin to the young woman who sits near a river. The woman's grin grows to match his as he offers her a carved wooden hummingbird. The first speck of snow falls from the sky."
Urpy regretfully asks, "Does anyone have a shovel?"
Speaking quietly to Stormyrain, Kothos says, "I don't envy you, siren."
Goldstr asks, "We wants take da body home aye?"
Speaking to Urpy, Perigourd says, "I do, but we should take him back to the settlement."
Mourdeyan says, "His people should have a chance at rites."
Bellaja says, "Let's face it, this place is heavily travelled. It could have been anything to kill him.."
Speaking deeply to Urpy, Wharwick asks, "Is that sympathy I detect from the most cold hearted woman I know?"
Speaking melodically to Wharwick, Urpy says, "For children, always."
Elidal says, "I will...I will send for his father..."
Elidal says, "Finish your song please? I wish to know more."
Elidal nods at Stormyrain.
Speaking to Stormyrain, Kiyna asks, "Is there more?"
Speaking to Urpy, Yardie says, "Never children, sister. That's always the rule."
Speaking to Stormyrain, Bellaja says, "At least it seems happy."
Samfelt nods in agreement at Elidal.
Stormyrain sings something in Guildspeak to a savagely butchered human corpse that you don't understand.
The butchered human corpse seems to respond to the magic of Stormyrain's song.
Stormyrain blinks, staring off into the distance.
Mourdeyan says, "L."
Stormyrain adds, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. The two young lovers laugh playfully together, slowly moving down a flowery slope, stopping occasionally to kiss beneath the stars. Dark orange petals brush their feet, attracting countless fireflies. A pair of grey-green eyes appears in the darkness."
Goldstr asks, "Green eyes?"
Speaking sadly to Goldstr, Perigourd says, "Reivers."
Irval says, "Grey-green."
Yardie says, "That worries me. They did complain about the noise when work was being done."
Alosaka says, "No sign in the Riever settlement."
Goldstr says, "Reivers be me friends, but if it be dem."
Lankas says, "Reivers have moss green eyes I seem to remember."
Speaking to Perigourd, Kiyna says, "Reivers' weapons wouldn't leave such bestial wounds... they are disciplined warriors. It's not impossible, but..."
Stormyrain sings something in Guildspeak to a savagely butchered human corpse that you don't understand.
The butchered human corpse seems to respond to the magic of Stormyrain's song.
Stormyrain blinks, staring off into the distance.
Speaking to Yardie, Dendum reminds, ""They were told that the settlers would stay on the other side of the river."
Samfelt leans forward.
Speaking to Kiyna, Perigourd says, "Those eyes are very common amongst their folk."
Alosaka says, "Reivers tend to prefer larger weapons."
Morikun asks, "Best just claim this land for the Baronry too, bring your army here to subdue such threats, and never question the convenience of all this, eh?"
Samfelt tightens his grip on his logging axe.
Kothos says, "I doubt the reivers would have done this."
Thrassus says, "They tend to use very heavy weapons, the body would have been in multiple parts."
Stormyrain states, "Your vision blurs, colors melding together before forming a new landscape entirely. The couple screams as a burly humanoid barrels out of some nearby brush, his lips snarling more like a monster than man. He brings a hatchet up and out, taking the young man in the chest before savagely striking twice more. He spins, his krolvin hide cloak shifting as he does, only to watch as the woman flees into the dark forest."
Elidal sighs.
Kothos says, "Claidmores definitely leave more than a few deep scratches."
Speaking to a savagely butchered human corpse, Stormyrain murmurs, "Rest well. We will take it from here."
Alosaka asks, "Krolvin hide cloak?"
Lylia says, "Yes, clearly young lovers who went to pick flowers and find a quiet place to kiss were a sign of Imperial encroachment."
Speaking to Alosaka, Guarrin says, "Likely Reivers."
Kelfyr says, "Krolvin don't wear their own skins."
Goldstr says, "Ktol be my guess."
Kiyna says, "Definitely sounds like a reiver, yes..."
Vaemyr says, "That was a Reiver yes..."
Elidal releases Ethan's cold hand.
Elidal stands up.
Leifa asks, "Perhaps she lives?"
Lankas says, "Reivers hate Krolvin."
Bellaja says, "But reivers would."
Elidal suddenly stumbles for no apparent reason.
Mourdeyan says, "Or somethin masqueradin as a reiver."
Missoni looks at Elidal with concern.
Speaking to Alosaka, Perigourd asks, "Did you talk to Jock?"
Alosaka says, "The settlement wasn't in any sort of uproar."
Lylia notes, "If she lives, she may be in for something worse than this. She should be found. Immediately."
Speaking in Guildspeak to Toxyrox, Stormyrain says something you don't understand.
Alosaka says, "Jock didn't have anything to add."
Elidal weakly says, "I should...ogo get his father."
Tikba shortly says, "We must seek her at once."
Kothos says, "From the vision, it sounded like she didn't escape unseen."
Kiyna says, "Perhaps the reiver was not in his right mind... something we need to get to the bottom of, at any rate."
Alosaka says, "There were a few veterans wandering around, but they treated me normal."
Vaemyr says, "The Girl ran off to the woods... she might of found a place to hide, we should look."
Speaking in Guildspeak, Toxyrox melodically says something you don't understand.
Elidal says, "He is a proud man. He will want to see him, to carry him home."
Speaking to Kiyna, Perigourd says, "They're.. not fond of outsiders."
Speaking to Elidal, Tikba says, "It is not safe for you to return alone from here."
Speaking to Elidal, Alosaka says, "We should do that, but our priority right now is to find the woman."
Speaking to Elidal, Lylia says, "And that should be done, yes, but if she still lives..."
Elidal nods.
Speaking in Guildspeak to Toxyrox, Stormyrain says something you don't understand.
Elidal says, "Yes..let's look for her..."
Elidal nods.
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "Perhaps I should fog him back to town, my lord."
Leifa insists, "It must be now."
[General] The ghost of Synariel thinks, "Dead in snow fort."
Elidal nods at Perigourd.
Speaking melodically to Vaemyr, Urpy asks, "For several days?"
Speaking to Perigourd, Kiyna says, "Oh, I'm familiar..."
Speaking melodically in Guildspeak to Stormyrain, Toxyrox exclaims something you don't understand.
Perigourd says, "Moving then."
Speaking to Urpy, Vaemyr says, "One day."
Mourdeyan says, "If it be your wish I will stand and guard this child while ye search for the lass."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "I can rejoin you once he's back with your people."
Speaking to Elidal, Guarrin says, "We can bring him to the Holding if you wish, it is closer."
Kelfyr says, "House to house."
Lankas says, "Reivers are fond of human females."
Speaking to Elidal, Guarrin says, "So we can focus on finding her."
Elidal says, "No, his father will want to bring him home. But let us go search for Rae."
Speaking to Kothos, Perigourd asks, "Staying?"
Speaking to Lankas, Thrassus says, "Since Reivers are humans that makes sense."
Elidal says, "If she's to have any chance."
Goldstr says, "Krol mine an village I woulds search first."
Elidal says, "Perhaps she has hidden out for days."
Vaemyr asks, "The grove?"
Lylia dubiously says, "She may have hidden and been too frightened to return...I hope that is the case."
Perigourd says, "We should check."
Alosaka uncertainly says, "Days, in this weather... she would need shelter."
Missoni says, "Perhaps..."
Samfelt deeply says, "Careful m'Lord. There are beasts all around."
[people are fighting manticores and thraks]
[General] The ghost of Synariel thinks, "So far, not even a peek."
Alosaka says, "A cave, somewhere in the settlement, or even the mine."
Kothos says, "There's several about here, but few are unoccupied."
Speaking to Perigourd, Vaemyr says, "Let's check the Grove, only place with a lot of trees that I'm aware of..."
Kelfyr says, "There's a boulder past the bush here, in the grove."
Evia says, "It seems there was a cave somewhere, but not positive where."
Speaking to Samfelt, Kiyna says, "Beasts will not harm you while you are with us. Just stay alert."
Kelfyr says, "Could have hidden atop that."
Speaking to Vaemyr, Perigourd says, "Missoni's checking now."
Speaking to Kelfyr, Alosaka says, "I inspected it earlier. It's deserted."
Kothos says, "If she were observant, the Enclave is not far."
[General] The ghost of Synariel thinks, "Snow spectres."
Kothos says, "And that would have been safe from beasts or reivers."
Alosaka says, "I suspect we'll find her in the settlement, if we are to find her..."
Missoni laments, "Nothing."
Alosaka says, "And not her... remains."
Elidal points east.
Elidal says, "Keep pressing."
Elidal nods.
[travel]
[General] The ghost of Synariel asks, "8ish?"
[Aillidh Brae, Vale]
A white sprinkle of lilies of the valley covers the marshy ground here. A few stark-white birch trees grow nearby. The soil is so soggy that you can't help but get a bit wet as you make your way forth. Someone has had the forethought to place a few planks across a particularly foreboding area. You also see an animated flayed gigas disciple, a manticore, a grey orc, a grey orc, a thrak, some old blood stains and some rotten planks.
Vaemyr says, "Blood."
Elidal frowns.
Tikba says, "Hair."
Vaemyr says, "Black hair as well."
>l stains
Among the old blood stains are several locks of black hair. The blood is days old.
Elidal says, "Rae's hair."
Guarrin notes, "Old though."
Mourdeyan says, "Black hair."
Vaemyr says, "Not good."
Vaemyr says, "This is toward the encampment too."
Kiyna says, "Old doesn't bode well..."
Stormyrain says, "Nothing from the blood stains."
Elidal says, "She has no family with us."
Elidal says, "I remember her now."
Irval says, "We dont know anything yet."
Elidal says, "She reminded me of...well someome important once."
Irval asks, "No time to think of that now. We are here for rescue. She's alive until we see her dead got it?"
Kothos asks, "...does she have green eyes and black hair?"
Speaking to Kothos, Kiyna says, "...You don't mean..."
Speaking to Perigourd, Missoni says, "No sign of her."
Speaking wryly to Kothos, Tikba asks, "Is that unusual?"
Elidal says, "Green eyes? no."
Kothos says, "I'm afraid I do."
Kothos says, "Good."
Kothos says, "If so, it would be better to find her body, truly."
Kiyna informs, "I happen to remember another prolific monster who covets women with black hair and green eyes..."
Kothos says, "Exactly what I was worried for."
Information
From nearby, a grizzled giantman hunter arrives.
Samfelt deeply says, "We are getting a bit higher up in the mountains now."
Kothos says, "Evening."
The hunter lowers his crossbow.
Speaking in Giantman, Guarrin says something you don't understand.
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Perigourd says, "Hail friend."
Samfelt deeply says, "That trail looks like it was made by some sort of animal."
The hunter says, "Chasing?"
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Perigourd says, "Searching."
Lylia says, "In a sense."
Speaking in Giantman, Irval says something you don't understand.
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Kothos says, "Have you seen a young human woman about? And yes, yes, all yours."
Speaking heartily to a grizzled hunter, Chamorr says, "Howdy cuz."
Lankas exclaims, "Hah!"
Kothos says, "She's been out here for a day or two, we aren't sure exactly."
The hunter says, "The raven haired lass?"
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Perigourd says, "Yes."
Kothos says, "Yes, that's the one."
Kothos says, "Rae."
The hunter frowns deeply.
Speaking in Giantman, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Kiyna asks, "Not good news...?"
Mourdeyan says, "Indeed."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Kothos says, "We found her friend..."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Thrassus asks, "Where did you find her?"
The hunter says, "I did not know her name. I carried her to Surtey a day ago."
Missoni exclaims, "Oh!"
Kothos says, "Thank you."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Perigourd says, "Good man."
Mourdeyan says, "T'town."
The hunter frowns, "I'm sorry. It was gruesome."
Speaking in Giantman, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Kelfyr asks, "Do you know what happened to her?"
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Kothos asks, "She still lived, though?"
Thrassus says, "Better news than we were expecting."
Yardie asks, "Was Surtey able to hear her?"
Missoni whispers aloud, "At least she found help."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Bellaja asks, "You've been out here a long time. What do you think got her?"
Kothos says, "Surety is a capable healer, if not as skilled as Yukito and Alosaka here."
The hunter frowns, "No. She was...likely an ogre? a manticore? She was butchered." [unclear which question the "no" was in response to]
Samfelt deeply asks, "Surtey is a healer of some sort?"
[General] Xess thinks, "You're not my mother."
Kothos says, "He is."
Speaking to Samfelt, Thrassus says, "In town."
Elidal slowly empties his lungs.
Speaking to Samfelt, Guarrin says, "Yes. In the Landing."
Kelfyr asks, "Lot of handaxes wielded by manticores?"
Elidal nods to a grizzled hunter.
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Bellaja asks, "You see many of those in this area?"
Speaking to Samfelt, Lylia says, "Surtey Akrash, has a tent in the town."
Elidal says, "Thank you..."
[General] Nyaria thinks, "Nope, no motr kids for me."
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaemyr says, "A healer in Wehnimer's, has patched up many of us before... if she was still breathing he could probably save her."
Samfelt nods understandingly.
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Lylia says, "Slay many."
Speaking in Giantman to a grizzled hunter, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Lankas says, "So then an Ogre maybe with a Krolvin skin cloak and a handaxe."
[General] Nyaria thinks, "No more for me either."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Mourdeyan asks, "How many days past was this?"
[General] Nyaria thinks, "I promise i havent been drinking tonight."
The hunter says, "Ain't seen that." He nods to Irval.
Irval nods.
[General] Xess thinks, "Sounds suspicious."
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "We can check with Surtey in town then and see if she's still there."
Kiyna says, "It might not have been the same thing that got her. Still..."
Yardie says, "Lots of snow, stinging the eyes."
The hunter says, "It was gruesome. Surely it had to be from a monster. What kind of man would do that to another..."
Kelfyr says, "What kind indeed."
Samfelt winces.
Lankas says, "You would be suprised."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Kothos says, "We often have those kinds of questions, sadly."
Speaking to a grizzled hunter, Perigourd says, "Those who have known much savagery themselves.. sadly."
Alosaka dryly says, "The Reivers had nothing to say about the two."
Kothos says, "About what people are willing to do."
The hunter says, "If she was family, I am sorry for your loss." The hunter heads off.
Urpy melodically says, "Many would, but few would to a child."
Lylia says, "She is hardly a child."
Elidal slowly empties his lungs.
Elidal says, "...she had no one."
Speaking melodically to Lylia, Urpy says, "The boy was."
Elidal says, "No one to mourn her here but us now."
Evia says, "She had...Ethan."
Bellaja asks, "He's resigned she didn't make it, but can't we check with Surtey?"
Elidal steps back, pale in the face.
Goldstr says, "So saf."
Goldstr says, "Sad."
Lylia says, "He had hair on his upper lip and came out here to do more than pick blossoms. But perhaps Humans reckon childhood differently."
Elidal says, "I will return to the camp. Seek out Ethan's father."
Chamorr heartily says, "We should check towm."
Speaking to Elidal, Stormyrain says, "Seems she had Ethan, for whatever time they shared."
Bellaja says, "That's someone who has seem all kinds of wounds."
Speaking to Elidal, Yardie asks, "You....you're going to be okay?"
Elidal nods at Yardie.
Speaking to Urpy, Lylia asks, "You do start sprouting fur in your thirties, yes?"
Lylia asks, "Fifties?"
[General] Synariel thinks, "Thanks all for the quick pick-up and get-up."
Lylia says, "I can never recall."
Elidal says, "I have not seen this much death in my life since coming here."
[General] Khoal thinks, "I promiss i haves beens drinkin dis eves."
Elidal says, "I hope it neve gets easy when I do."
Speaking quietly to Elidal, Kothos asks, "Would you have me give her last rites, then?"
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "Few have, I think."
Speaking melodically to Lylia, Urpy says, "Teens."
Speaking to Bellaja, Leifa says, "We cannot be sure she is gone until we've checked the tent."
Speaking to Leifa, Bellaja says, "Indeed."
[General] Nyaria thinks, "Good, someone needs to take up my slack, and i thank you."
Speaking gently to Elidal, Tikba says, "Easier."
Returning
Speaking to Elidal, Perigourd says, "We can escort you back to the settlement."
Elidal says, "There will be time for that, at the camp, for both."
Elidal nods at Perigourd.
Elidal says, "Please..."
[travel]
Speaking to Leifa, Bellaja says, "Surtey Akrash is reknowned. Our best choice of looking for clues."
[General] Khoal thinks, "Ya be welcomes.. as kings of da dwarfs.. and pirate king of all sailors at sea... i salute you."
[note: the character logging this was invisible and fell out of the group when they returned to Voln with the Symbol of Return; many lines were likely missed]
[Imperial Campsite]
A roaring bonfire demands attention from the center of this temporary town, its coppery gold flames mesmerizing as they dance. Rows of tents bordering the fire create purposeful pathways to other areas of the camp. You also see the Archious disk, the Toxyrox disk, the sparking Dendum disk, the Fourthwell disk, the Guarrin disk, the pallid grey Melikor disk emblazoned with a vibrant scarlet pentacle, the skull-shaped Irval disk, the repousse copper Perigourd disk raised in leafy designs, the Sunwu disk, the Kelfyr disk, the Emperia disk, the web-draped Missoni disk, the Arahnim disk, the Yardie disk, an animated flayed gigas disciple, a black-toed saddleback foxhound, a grizzled porcupine, a massive grey wolf, a sulky wasteland spirit that is flying around, a lazy wild reddish-black dog, a long piece of cord, a stained wooden keg and a long wooden log.
Samfelt deeply says, "I don't think I will ever get used to it."
Elidal slowly empties his lungs.
Speaking to Samfelt, Kothos says, "Wait til you try a rift for the first time."
Elidal says, "...thank you everyone...."
[General] Nairena exclaims, "That invoker stole my muffin!"
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaemyr says, "You never should..."
Mourdeyan says, "I hope not lad."
Speaking to Yardie, Kiyna says, "Speaking through thoughts with someone is quite different from being wrenched out of space and thrust instantly somewhere else. Makes me nauseous..."
Elidal says, "For your aid against Gnul...for your help in seeking Ethan and Rae..."
[General] Khoal thinks, "It will happens."
Samfelt put a fel-hafted logging axe in his leather axe frog.
Speaking to Elidal, Tikba says, "The next step is harder."
Cryheart says, "What a horrific way to end."
Elidal nods at Tikba.
Speaking politely to Elidal, Tikba says, "You will need to speak with the reivers."
Speaking to Kiyna, Yardie says, "Hearing someone's voice in my brain also made me nauseous. A empathize."
Elidal asks, "...it only gets harder from here, doesn't it?"
Elidal sighs.
Goldstr says, "Aye."
Lylia says, "In some ways, yes."
Speaking to Elidal, Kiyna says, "These are the lands you're trying to settle. No one came here because it was easy."
Speaking to Elidal, Vaemyr says, "There is much worse that lurks within Darkstone Castle."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "Spring is usually a time for hope, my lord. I would kindly suggest you sow it as much as you can."
Speaking to Elidal, Guarrin says, "Yes, that is the way of things."
Samfelt deeply says, "Maybe once this storm breaks we can have some solace, for awhile."
Speaking to Elidal, Kothos says, "You will need to be a beacon of nothing but."
Elidal stands silent for a moment, a long moment. His eyes look off, remembering something, remembering someone. He then clenches his jaw and steps forward.
Elidal says, "Then we'll face it together."
Elidal nods.
Samfelt nods.
Speaking softly to Elidal, Missoni says, "We will."
Chamorr heartily asks, "Together?"
Elidal says, "Goodnight everyone. I hope the spring brings promise and peace."
Elidal bows.
Lord Elidal just went west.
Discussion Afterward
Irval says, "This is only the end of the beginning."
Morikun says, "Charlatos will surely bring the flowers of spring and better times."
Yardie says, "I may not agree with all of this....but I do admire his optimism."
Thrassus asks, "Shall we see to the healer, then?"
Guarrin says, "Yes, we should."
Lylia says, "Indeed."
Guarrin says, "Although someone mentioned Yukito was heading that way."
Samfelt deeply asks, "So you all really fought that monstrous titan of a stone giant?"
Kothos says, "I am not sure I would term that optimism."
Guarrin says, "Perhaps he had some luck."
Perigourd says, "Moving out momentarily."
Speaking to Samfelt, Lylia says, "We were as fleas on a rolton compared to the size of the thing."
Samfelt deeply says, "I didn't think anyone would have the guts to fight something like that."
Tikba amusedly says, "Guts, we have."
[travel]
Speaking deeply to Perigourd, Wharwick asks, "Not back to voln, I hope?"
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaemyr says, "He even tried to smush me a few times, climbed up him again and again till he went down for good."
Speaking to Wharwick, Perigourd says, "No."
Speaking to Samfelt, Thrassus says, "What remains of him lies near the Abandoned Inn."
Speaking to Samfelt, Kothos says, "Not I. I was busy with another matter. But I hear someone dropped a rock on Pops here."
Samfelt deeply says, "I need to check up on the walls."
Mourdeyan says, "Many of us learned t'fly...fer a minnit or so."
Speaking to Samfelt, Irval says, "The view was pretty great too."
Speaking to Melikor, Kothos says, "Why do they always throw rocks at you? You're such an affable fellow."
[Healer's Tent, Treatment Room]
A sense of relief and anticipation pervades the softly-lit tent. The makeshift room, small and crowded with the ill and wounded, contains the astringent odor of balms and unguents. Old rugs depicting the healing powers of various deities and magical practices lie on the ground. At the far end of the tent stands a long, padded table. You also see the Kelfyr disk, a grizzled porcupine, the Evia disk, the Emperia disk, a happy ocean spirit that is flying around and the famed empath Surtey Akrash.
Speaking to Samfelt, Kiyna says, "It's not about guts. It's about a frightening disregard for personal safety."
Lylia remarks, "Yes, 'guts.' We saw that firsthand when people smacked to the ground at Gnul's feet. Guts everywhere."
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Alosaka says, "Thank you. We will inform her... ah... next of kin."
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaeldrys says, "Duty required it and so it was done."
Speaking to Kothos, Melikor says, "Because I'm bad at dodging rocks, I suppose."
Samfelt deeply asks, "This is the healer that hunter mentioned?"
Lankas asks, "Is her body here?"
Alosaka says, "Surtey just informed us that the young lady passed away."
Tikba says, "Those who can carry the burden must do so for those who cannot."
Samfelt frowns.
Alosaka says, "Town officials collected her body."
Samfelt nods at Alosaka.
Thrassus asks, "Where would they have taken it?"
Speaking to Alosaka, Kelfyr asks, "Was the cause of death able to be determined?"
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Bellaja asks, "Is that normal?"
Kothos says, "She's likely down in the Catacombs, if she wasn't identified."
Cryheart says, "Back to the settlement perhaps."
Speaking deeply to Urpy, Wharwick says, "I'm not saying they had a hand in it. I'm just saying that's how I would have done it."
[General] Neopuron thinks, "Moo..."
Speaking in Guildspeak to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Lylia says, "I am sorry; I know you did your best."
Speaking to Kelfyr, Alosaka says, "Loss of blood, secondary to many stab and slash wounds."
Surtey says, "Yes, some grizzly looking hunter."
Speaking melodically to Wharwick, Urpy says, "And you call ME cold hearted."
Speaking to Chamorr, Yardie says, "I don't get the impression reivers would do this."
Speaking deeply to Urpy, Wharwick says, "Just being pragmatic."
Surtey says, "Town officials took the body, no one claimed her in over a day."
Thrassus says, "I had hoped we could get more information from the corpse."
Kiyna says, "That's something the council might be able to help with. If I can, I'll see her body sent back to the camp. They should bury her with their own..."
Thrassus asks, "Where do they take them in these cases?"
Speaking in Guildspeak to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Speaking to Kiyna, Guarrin says, "Thank you."
Speaking in Guildspeak, Irval says something you don't understand.
Speaking to Thrassus, Alosaka says, "That would be the graveyard."
Chamorr heartily says, "Am not takin vengence on da reivers."
Tikba says, "Nor should you."
Speaking to Kiyna, Kothos says, "The burial vault below Lady Winter's temple often gets used for such, I believe."
Goldstr asks, "Mayhaps she still at da Temple?"
Lylia says, "Too little is known yet."
Vaemyr says, "I'll, reach out to the town officials... see what I can do, hopefully I can arrange a small service at least."
Speaking to Tikba, Yardie says, "It seems to convenient considering their concerns. The kill. They wanted the bodies to be found. A good killer doesn't leave a body out in the open unless a statement is being made."
Speaking to Kiyna, Kothos says, "I know a few acolytes there, professionally. I could ask about for you, if that would help."
Tikba says, "Elidal is good at making peace. He will need to do so again."
Lankas says, "Wouldn't it be a paupers grave? something were unclaimed bodies go."
Bellaja asks, "When you say stab and slash you mean from a knife? Not a beast?"
Kiyna says, "Even if we go to find it, they won't let us take the body. We need to go through the right procedures and such."
Speaking quietly to Kiyna, Kothos says, "I know you aren't fond of the place."
Surtey says, "The body was brutalized. It was likely a quick death but a savage one."
Kelfyr asks, "Clean cuts or ragged like an animal?"
Missoni whispers aloud, "Like Ethan's."
Lylia quietly says, "Quick is a mercy compared to other possibilities."
Vaeldrys says, "To act on such little information would point the retaliation in the wrong direction...we must be sure."
Lankas says, "I should in the field were they were. I was attacked by seven manticores, four thrak, two ogres, and a krolvin."
Surtey says, "Something tore her up."
Speaking in Guildspeak, Irval asks something you don't understand.
Lankas says, "I stood."
Speaking to Yardie, Tikba says, "Some things are convenient because they are true."
Speaking to Vaeldrys, Yardie says, "That's just it, Vaeldrys. I think that's the intended action."
Mourdeyan says, "Expedient praps."
Kiyna says, "Even an angered reiver shouldn't be acting like this... something feels off to me."
Surtey says, "I'm sorry, I see a lot of bodies, but don't always have time to do a proper assessment, especially if no one claims them or asks me at the time."
Bellaja casually asks, "Ever see something like that before?"
Kothos says, "We have all seen death most unkind. We need to focus on finding out what we can. Without giving in to anger."
Surtey says, "Maybe if the town officials release the body back to me, I could assess her and find out more. Maybe by Charlatos.."
Urpy melodically asks, "I must retire, keep me apraised of the situation?"
Speaking to Vaeldrys, Yardie says, "Point to the obvious target with an obvious murder to expect the obvious retaliation."
Vaemyr says, "I will do what I can to see that happen."
Evia says, "Ugh."
Bellaja says, "I think that would be a great help."
Mourdeyan says, "Charlatos again."
Kiyna says, "I'll work on it, aye."
Thrassus says, "If we have to wait, we have to wait."
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Kothos asks, "Why until then?"
Goldstr says, "Please do that."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin asks, "Why do you think so?"
Speaking deeply to Urpy, Wharwick says, "Do you think I'll stay up late? Oh no, you can ask Scuttlebutt tomorrow."
Lylia says, "In this cold, she should not rot too much to understand the nature of her injuries and death."
Speaking in Guildspeak, Irval says something you don't understand.
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Bellaja says, "I know sometimes it takes a while to examine things so closely."
Speaking to Kothos, Thrassus says, "Beuraucracy."
Speaking politely to Yardie, Tikba says, "Then you must be there to remind Elidal that retaliation will not aid him."
Speaking to Kothos, Morikun says, "It's body season."
Evia says, "It is dead of winter, I would think the young lady is placed in some sort of holding vault."
Speaking to Kayse, Vaemyr asks, "Have issues with that? or care to help as well?"
Kayse wishes, "Fair evening."
Lylia says, "I do not think anyone is speaking of retaliation yet, certainly not without understanding the full facts of the matter."
Speaking to Tikba, Yardie says, "I'll be there to remind Tikba to be absolutely certain."
Samfelt deeply asks, "You keep dead people in a vault?"
Samfelt peers quizzically at Evia.
Speaking to Morikun, Kothos says, "Perhaps. I just wanted to make sure the time was just coincidence to the earlier conversation."
[General] Fugue asks, "Anyone without any deeds about that might be able to help me with this particular task from a nice but somewhat greasy monk out near the monastery by the graveyard?"
Speaking to Samfelt, Evia says, "If the ground is frozen, or some such thing."
Vaeldrys says, "Not yet."
Speaking to Samfelt, Evia says, "Temporary like."
Speaking heartily to Samfelt, Chamorr says, "Right next to all the towns gold."
Speaking to the famed empath Surtey Akrash, Alosaka says, "Well, apologies for barging into your practice. We'll leave you to it."
Speaking mildly to Yardie, Tikba says, "I do not expect to need any such reminders."
Speaking to Samfelt, Bellaja says, "Many cultures do things very differently with their dead."
Kothos says, "It's very cold, colder than usual."
Goldstr asks, "Could she still be in da Cleric's tent by da Temole?"
Vaeldrys says, "Fair eve."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin says, "The cloak does begin to point that way, but I agree, that more information is needed."
Speaking to Samfelt, Evia says, "A burial one, not one for monies and gems."
Speaking to Tikba, Yardie quips, "Well, you're not Elidal."
Perigourd says, "Moving out."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin says, "I do not think anyone is just taking the hunter's word."
[travel]
Speaking to Yardie, Alosaka asks, "Does Elidal strike you as the vengeful, impulsive type?"
Speaking to Samfelt, Perigourd says, "We'll guide you back."
Bellaja says, "Some are put into vaults until only bones are left. Then they are stacked and room is made for the next."
Speaking to Alosaka, Yardie says, "Emotional."
[Imperial Campsite]
Stumps pepper the spacious clearing, as stacked logs leave evidence of their recent removal. A grove of trees surrounds the area, leaving a natural palisade to add some security to the campsite. You also see a steel-roofed huge wooden tower, a polished bronze lantern mounted on a wooden post and a wide dirt-covered trail.
Samfelt deeply says, "I should go check on a repair I did to one of the walls."
Speaking to Alosaka, Yardie says, "Sometimes, that is enough. He was shaken just now."
Samfelt nods.
Speaking to Samfelt, Lylia says, "Be well. And be careful."
Speaking amusedly to Yukito, Guarrin says, "Yes, and I have seen others don kilts to imitate Kindred."
Samfelt just opened a high-collared dark leather jacket fastened with thick fel toggles.
Samfelt removes a tumbler of Woodland Green whiskey from in his dark leather jacket.
Speaking to Samfelt, Evia says, "Good night Sam."
Speaking to Samfelt, Missoni wishes, "Stay warm."
Samfelt deeply says, "I still think we need to have that toast for a victory against Gnul."
Speaking to Samfelt, Vaeldrys says, "Stay safe."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin says, "Perhaps we can learn more from Surtey."
Lylia says, "Ah, true, we never did."
Samfelt takes a drink from his Woodland Green whiskey.
Speaking to Samfelt, Kiyna says, "Maybe, but it's not the time for me."
Speaking to Samfelt, Dendum remarks, ""Can show you to some good drinks in landing another time perhaps."
Speaking to Samfelt, Kothos says, "Perhaps that will keep the warmth closer."
Speaking to Samfelt, Alosaka asks, "Perhaps another evening?"
Samfelt deeply says, "A gnome gave me this, so it's probably safe."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin says, "And it seems the council is well taking care of it."
Evia says, "To compassion and forbearance."
Speaking to Yukito, Guarrin says, "Oh, of course."
Cryheart says, "Excuse me all."
Samfelt waves.
Lylia says, "To discovering truth and acting wisely upon it."
Settler Samfelt just went southeast.
