Background
Magister Orphia was involved in an investigation into the Library Beyond the Walls located on the Inorios Plateau in 5112. Instead of waiting for assistance, she entered the library unprepared. Time moved differently in the library and it was affecting her negatively. To combat this, Magister Orphia was transformed into crystal.
In approximately 5117, adventurers found their way to the library and found the crystalline Magister Orphia. They brought her back to our plane, and thereafter, she could be found as a statue located in the Garden of Forbidden Knowledge in Solhaven.
[Garden of Forbidden Knowledge] Shrubs, small trees and neatly bordered garden beds filled with a variety of plants and herbs are clustered about the garden, centered around sculptures of granite, sandstone and limestone. At the heart of the park rests a bronze statue of an aged man with a thick tome open on his lap, a brass plaque set into a granite boulder at its feet. You also see an aged crystalline woman. >l woman The woman crafted of crystal is short and thin, though the lines of age are evident upon her face. Curls of glassy hair are drawn up in a neat bun. Her angular face and sharp nose look faintly pained. The statue is exceptionally lifelike.
In Imaerasta 5121, Malvernus returned after extensive research to attempt to transform her back to flesh. The Archivers and other researchers had helped with the analysis of the ritual. With the help of numerous adventurers, Malvernus' ritual transformed Orphia. He then explained he was going to return her to the Hall of Mages for further recovery.
