A Potion of Naming is used to rename a mount. They are sold at Ebon Gate at Name of Thrones. Pre-customized Potions of Naming come with common names off the shelf that can be applied immediately to a mount without having to wait for the QC process. Blank Potions of Naming are able to be fully customized with a name of the owner's choosing. This involves a delayed to have the name go through a QC approvals process. AnalyzeBlank: This glass bottle contains a Potion of Naming and will allow you to request a name for your beloved mount! Names must be WHISPERed to the bottle and then poured onto the mount's summoning device once approved. Requested mount names are limited to 15 characters or less, and special characters will be ignored. When you have decided on the perfect name, simply WHISPER the name to the bottle to record your name request for review. Please note that name approvals can take upwards of 48 hours, but you can check the status of the review through the item ANALYZE. If you are unsure whether a name would violate policy, please refer to POLICY 6 for examples of names that will not be approved. While these guidelines are not mount-specific, they should give a general overview of the naming policy. All names will begin with a capital letter. At this time, names cannot be changed once given to a mount, but you can clean a requested name from a bottle as long as it has completed its review process (approved or denied). Naming potions submitted for approval can only be used by the submitting individual. All naming potions have one use and are permanent alterations. [Please be aware that mount names change much of existing messaging in the mount scripts, and for you only, will reference the mount's name. Depending on the name you have selected, this could be potentially "spammy." These names are pre-approved and can be immediately applied to an appropriate summoning device. This vial contains the name "Bessie". To use, POUR on an appropriate summoning device.
