Meeting With Breshon

[Breshon is heard on the amunet inviting people to speak with him at the Blue Phoenix Pub; Cryheart's group heads over]

[The Blue Phoenix Pub]

Grey brick walls comprise the foundation of the spacious tavern, where oak tables and chairs are set up around the common area. A plump boar is set near a large red brick fireplace, the roaring flames roasting the pig and warming the tavern. Mounted on a far wall is a huge silver tapestry depicting the image of a rising blue phoenix. From behind a brass-railed countertop, a scar-faced bartender pours drinks for the guests. You also see a scar-faced giantman bartender, a silver-blue dart board, some painted blue wooden stools and a scuffed wooden stage.

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee says, "Yes."

You give Breshon a strong, encouraging smile.

You bob a quick curtsy to Breshon.

Speaking brightly to Breshon, you exclaim, "Good eve!"

Breshon bows to you.

Cryheart says, "Good evening, Lord Breshon."

Breshon says, "Hello."

Speaking to Breshon, Puptilian asks, "How has your stay been?"

Speaking to Breshon, Irar says, "Good evening, Lord Breshon."

Breshon says, "It has been as pleasant as it could be, given my sister's state."

Breshon says, "I've gotten a lot of hunting in, that is comforting to me. The politics and work of home kept me from it over the years."

Breshon bows to Irar.

Breshon says, "Deacon."

Breshon says, "I had dinner last eve with the Prelate, he spoke highly of you."

Breshon nods at Irar.

Breshon says, "And that he intends to be around tomorrow eve."

Speaking to Breshon, Irar asks, "I hope he is well and not too busy?"

Speaking to Breshon, Puptilian says, "You'll find it quieter here without the politics of a larger city."

Breshon nods at Puptilian.

Breshon says, "I heard of your town's recent...change."

Speaking to Breshon, Shinann asks, "Do you prefer your bow when you hunt?"

Breshon says, "There is a measure of value and thrill in both bow and blade."

Breshon nods at Shinann.

Shinann smiles at Breshon.

Breshon says, "I'm proficient in both, you have to be."

Breshon says, "An enemy too close, and if all you can use is a bow..."

Shinann agrees with Breshon.

Breshon shakes his head.

Balantine picks up a glass of Thurbon's Bourbon.

Balantine sniffs at his Thurbon's Bourbon.

Speaking respectfully to Breshon, Nehor inquires, "Excuse my interjection sirrah, but you mentioned hunting. What, perchance, is your game of choice?"

Breshon asks, "The Bourbon is bad?"

Breshon says, "I shall have this fixed."

Breshon says, "Bears, boars."

Breshon nods at Nehor.

Speaking to Breshon, Puptilian says, "Have you ever hunted with a wolf. It's different hunting in a pack. Should take you out sometime to hunt with my wolf friend and I."

Breshon says, "I would welcome that Mayor."

Breshon nods at Puptilian.

Puptilian grins.

Puptilian says, "Ex-mayor."

Breshon says, "It is a matter of respect."

A uniformed worker arrives, and replaces the bourbon.

Breshon says, "Now try."

[people drink, it's no longer stale]

Breshon nods.

Breshon nods.

Breshon says, "It won't put as much hair on your chest as the soured one, but..."

Breshon shrugs.

Speaking smoothly to Breshon, Nehor suggests, "A man needs such distractions as hunting. It keeps one...grounded. May I offer, however, that there are other things that can help edify a person who finds themselves away from polite society."

Breshon says, "I must say, I was a bit surprised of the allowance of demons, especially since it flies so openly against imperial decree, but I suppose that is one way to remind the world of your town's unique position."

Breshon peers quizzically at Nehor.

Speaking to Breshon, Lylia says, "I believe this forward-thinking view comes with greater familiarity with sorcery and with demons."

Breshon says, "We run a dangerous risk if we become familiar with demons."

Breshon says, "But..."

Breshon waves his hand in a dismissive gesture.

Breshon says, "It is not my place, nor will it be."

Speaking dryly to Breshon, Raelee says, "I gave one of Baron Malwind's men a lecture on why this is little more than a symbolic gesture last night."

Speaking to Breshon, Lylia says, "The term 'demon' is an unfortunately broad one, while still being too narrow-minded -- if you will forgive the expression."

Breshon asks, "I'm sure demons are painted with a general brushstroke around here much like imperials are, right?"

Breshon begins chuckling at Lylia!

Sir Bristenn just arrived.

Breshon bows to Bristenn.

Breshon says, "Sir Bristenn."

Speaking amusedly to Breshon, Lylia says, "Quite so."

Bristenn faces Breshon and smartly brings his right fist up to his chest. Holding it there, he bows deeply.

Speaking politely to Breshon, Bristenn observes, "Lord Breshon Caulfield."

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee adds, "He received the lecture, actually."

Breshon asks, "You were the receiving end of a Magister's lecture?"

Breshon peers quizzically at Bristenn.

Breshon says, "My condolences."

Breshon chuckles.

Speaking to Breshon, Bristenn answers, "I was, yes."

Breshon says, "I have seen the beauty and the horror of the Wyrdeep, I am quite familiar in the power of choice, when it comes to how one wields their magic."

Breshon pours himself a cup of ocotillo blossom tea.

Breshon takes a drink from his ocotillo tea.

Breshon says, "But, I did not come here to share my opinion too much..."

Plans For Larsya

Breshon says, "In the coming weeks, I'd like to meet again and perhaps go over some proposals on different...theories as to what could perhaps be done to help my sister."

[reactions of support]

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra asks, "Has anything changed?"

Breshon says, "Nothing has changed."

Breshon says, "But I would like to begin to actively combine our efforts into research into epochxin and what we may be able to do to heal my sister."

Breshon says, "I have been trying to be respectful of your space Magister."

Breshon nods at Raelee.

Breshon says, "I heard you do not take kindly to, well, others in there."

Breshon chuckles.

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee says, "I acknowledge that as the truth."

Breshon says, "So I will announce when I plan to meet again on this matter, but if you've theories, I would gladly ask you to begin to, perhaps put them together or be prepared to present them to me."

Speaking to Breshon, Irar says, "I can do naught but pray for her at the moment, but I shall."

Pukk quietly asks, "Have you tried to have somebody who can touch her mind, touch her mind in one of those moments and help her find her center?"

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "I hope you and your sister are spared further suffering. She seems an engaging child."

Breshon says, "There is power in that Deacon."

Breshon nods at Irar.

Breshon bows to Ysharra.

Breshon says, "Thank you."

Breshon looks over at Pukk and shakes his head.

Pukk shrugs.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "She's not still up, is she? She could have some late snacks with us."

Breshon says, "No she is sleeping, soundly at that."

Ysharra nods at Breshon.

Breshon takes a drink from his ocotillo tea.

Puptilian says, "Well excuse me but getting late for me tonight."

Breshon bows to Puptilian.

Breshon says, "We shall hunt soon."

Breshon nods at Puptilian.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "I mean no distraction from that, surely. But I'd be happy to encounter her again."

Breshon nods at Ysharra.

Breshon says, "Soon I am sure."

Breshon nods at Ysharra.

Speaking to Breshon, Puptilian says, "I'll send word to you when I can go hunting and we'll show you some of the better hunting in this area."

Speaking quietly to Breshon, Pukk whispers aloud, "Pup will get you lost though....just letting you know."

Breshon chuckles.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "I do some fair amount of hunting, myself. Soon it'll get even more challenging, as spring begins to creep across the Locksmehr."

Speaking melodically to Irar, Evician asks, "Perhaps a cleric of Koar can commune and find help in that respect?"

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "Tracking things in the thick of the moors."

Breshon says, "You are welcome to join us."

Breshon nods at Ysharra.

Speaking to Evician, Irar says, "I know a few."

Breshon says, "I see you have a mayoral campaign coming up."

Breshon says, "Fascinating, that kind of politics."

Evician melodically says, "Well, who better would know how to cure a demon's blood poisoning a woman's body than an Arkati." [this conversation is tabled for now, but comes back later in the night]

Speaking jovially to Breshon, Cruxophim jests, "Thinking of running?"

Breshon begins chuckling at Cruxophim!

Breshon says, "No."

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee admits, "I do have copies of the majority of Brieson's notes on the epochxin in the library wing of the laboratory. Those will be... critical, I have no doubt."

Speaking jokingly to Breshon, Cruxophim opines, "Wise decision."

Breshon nods at Raelee.

Faendryl Enclave Dance

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "Speaking of exciting, the Faendryl Enclave is having a dance this coming Feastday evening."

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "It will be late in the evening, half past ten. If you would like to attend, you'd be feted and feasted. You'd need a mask, though."

Breshon asks, "A dance?"

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "Indeed. A costume party."

Breshon says, "Interesting."

Speaking to Breshon, Lylia says, "It is a minor Faendryl festival, but a particularly beloved one. Rather less serious than many, quite festive."

Breshon says, "I've always enjoyed events while wearing a mask."

Breshon says, "There is a certain level of mystery that is exciting about it."

Evician taps a twilight blue snowy owl half-mask featuring golden-limned almond eyeholes that he is wearing.

Evician melodically says, "I'm ready."

Evician grins.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "We call it Carnival. You know the sort. The performers, the shows, the revelry..."

Breshon asks, "What time of the eve, is this event?"

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "The Alabaster Spire is just up by the Luienne Bhein. It's close to some fine hunting, in fact. You should come round and have a round of darts with the Faendryl. Half past ten, sirrah."

Lylia says, "Late. We prefer evenings."

Lylia chuckles.

Lylia says, "Perhaps an hour and a half before midnight. Some will arrive fashionably late, no doubt."

Breshon says, "I shall definitely like to attend, perhaps I shall bring Larsya, if her condition permits."

Breshon says, "I may be late, of course."

Speaking to Breshon, Lylia says, "It promises to be quite a colorful event, and I know she has always enjoyed imaginative costumes."

Breshon says, "I can never seem to get away from my duties until late in the night, and when I do, it's always snowing or raining."

Breshon says, "Strangest thing..."

Breshon smirks.

Berkana performs an amazing feat of juggling as she tosses a goblet of Winter Witch brew in the air, grabs some absinthe green darts and catches the Winter Witch brew in her other hand!

Berkana throws a handful of absinthe green darts at a silver-blue dart board!

The absinthe green dart hits a 19!

The absinthe green dart hits a 17!

The absinthe green dart hits a 8!

Breshon says, "Impressive."

Breshon nods at Berkana.

Berkana hums a seemingly random tune.

Ysharra shows Breshon her specimen jar.

Berkana grins at Breshon.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "These poor things come out of hibernation too early, get all infested. Too much rain."

Ysharra put a dark-tinted specimen jar in her wormwood case.

Breshon glances at Ysharra.

Breshon says, "That is..."

Breshon nods.

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "Research."

Ysharra nods at Breshon.

A Commune? Curing Aging?

Breshon asks, "What was your idea, with the Arkati?"

Breshon peers quizzically at Evician.

Breshon turns an inquisitive ear toward Evician.

Evician melodically says, "Um, well having a cleric of Koar or any Arkati, really to commune with said Arkati Lord Breshon. Perhaps if anyone has any ideas , they would. Who knows killing and fighting demons more intimately than they do."

Breshon says, "Nothing is beyond considering, and your idea will be noted."

Breshon nods at Evician.

Evician bows to Breshon.

Evician melodically says, "Thank you m'Lord."

Breshon says, "If anyone is worthy of the Arkati's attention, it is my sister."

Breshon takes a drink from his ocotillo tea.

Breshon performs an amazing feat of juggling as he tosses a cup of ocotillo blossom tea in the air, grabs some diamond-tipped darts and catches the ocotillo tea in his other hand!

Breshon throws a handful of diamond-tipped darts at a silver-blue dart board!

The diamond-tipped dart hits... ** Bull's eye! **

The diamond-tipped dart hits the wall and falls to the ground. Way off!

The diamond-tipped dart hits a 2!

Breshon shrugs.

Speaking curiously to Breshon, Raelee asks, "You do realize what the core of this task is, yes?"

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra asks, "...and you hunt manticores, you say?"

Breshon peers quizzically at Raelee.

Breshon begins chuckling at Ysharra!

Speaking to Breshon, Ysharra says, "You use a blade, I presume."

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee says, "You have requested a cure for physical aging."

Breshon says, "Blades and a bow."

Breshon nods at Raelee.

Breshon says, "Essentially, yes."

Speaking to Breshon, Raelee says, "It is possible the epochxin may have left behind a certain... temporal malleability to her body that would make a solution more easily applied to her than another but..."

Speaking slowly to Breshon, Raelee says, "... the potential is vast."

Breshon takes a drink from his ocotillo tea.

Breshon says, "I look forward to our future discussions of such with everyone."

Breshon nods at Raelee.

Breshon says, "I should retire for the evening. Thank you all for your company, and the invitation. I appreciate it."

Speaking coolly to Breshon, Hapenlok says, "So, young Lord, how IS your father, anyway?"

Breshon says, "My father is home in Bourth. That is about all I wish to say."

Evia says, "He does not wish to go back and Bourth about the matter."

Breshon laughs at Evia!

Breshon says, "Well played."

Breshon bows to Evia.

Breshon bows.

Breshon says, "Goodnight everyone. Be safe out there."

Lord Breshon just went out.

What's A Commune Or Two Between Friends?

[Moot Hall, Mayor's Office]

At the varnished modwir door, a red bear skin rug stretches across the polished hardwood floor. Twin velnalin hide chairs face the Mayor's pine desk, while behind it sits an incurvated bone armchair. A great stag's head and a dark-framed sketch are mounted above a cobblestone fireplace set into the western wall. Refreshments are offered atop an oak bar beside a tall arched window. You also see the Stonmel disk, the Bernadette disk, the translucent Chenni disk, the palm frond-shaped Leafiara disk, a sharp-eared fire wyrdling, a snow white raven, a forest fox, a lop-eared pure white lioness, a charming ocean spirit that is flying around, a forest wolf, a bone-ringed dart board, a large dog bed, a large detailed map and a basket of sticks.

Cruxophim calmly begins, "So, I like this idea of a Commune to seek divine aid."

Cruxophim wryly admits, "Crazy, I know."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "I honestly don't."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Hapenlok says, "As long as it isn't to Charl, I'm for it."

You offer, "Lumnis or Fash'lo'nae might be the most likely to have some knowledge of what to do."

Speaking calmly to Albanus, Cruxophim reminds, "You need not participate, then."

Evician melodically says, "I was thinking of Fash'lo'nae as well Lady Leafiara."

Hapenlok says, "But, in the end, we'll likely have to rely on ourselves."

Cruxophim loudly ventures, "Oh Magister Raelee?"

You reason, "Well, even if they only give us the idea, that's a good start."

Xorus says, "Fash'lo'nae is more likely to be intimately familiar with the properties of demonic blood."

Evician melodically says, "If anyone has that kind of information, he certainly does."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "I will not be there. If you manage to summon Fash'lo'nae he might just drive one of you completely insane with all of the knowledge of the universe. Or strip your mind of all of your knowledge as punishment for your impetus." You nod.

Speaking wryly to Hapenlok, Cruxophim opines, "Risk nothing, gain nothing."

Speaking melodically to Albanus, Evician says, "Communing and summoning are two very different and vast things...they don't even belong on the same spectrum."

Speaking to Albanus, Evia says, "In that case if you did attend, you would lose nothing."

Hapenlok says, "Communing with Lornonite deities rarely goes as planned, and there's always a hefty price."

Speaking to Hapenlok, Ysharra says, "Yes. After all, they might come."

Speaking calmly to Evician, Cruxophim agrees, "However, the gods can be fickle. I would fully expect this to not turn out as planned, but I suppose it can't hurt to try."

Speaking to Evician, Albanus says, "I realize this. It does not change the fact that Arkati have punished people for communes in the past."

You diplomatically mention, "If we can't find a cleric of Fash'lo'nae, anyway, we could try other options."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "Oh it can hurt, from what I've read in documents."

Speaking melodically to Cruxophim, Evician says, "Better than bashing our brains against a brick wall..."

You admit, "I certainly don't know any."

Speaking nonchalantly to Albanus, Cruxophim remarks, "Some pain is worth it."

Speaking to Evician, Nehor quips, "Theres a few of you who'd I'd encourage in such a course."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "Avoidable pain is best avoided."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Raelee says, "I am standing right in front of you."

Speaking amusedly to Raelee, Cruxophim notes, "Oh, there you are. Didn't see you in the crowd, surprising since you were so loud."

Thrassus says, "Communing with the Grandfather would be relatively safe as far as communing goes, I would think."

Evia asks, "Would it help to know by what means this epochziwhatsit....does not affect the demon from whence it comes?"

Speaking respectfully to Raelee, Cruxophim inquires, "But, jokes aside... you caught that, yes?"

Raelee says, "I did."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "Lumnis is definitely the better choice for a commune, since she's generally benevolent. But it's possible you might commune with a completely different Arkati."

Speaking thoughtfully to Raelee, Cruxophim inquires, "Aside from the first step of finding a cleric of Fash'lo'nae, how would you approach this?"

Speaking to Cruxophim, Raelee asks, "A commune to the Grandfather?"

Cruxophim nods slowly at Raelee.

Speaking to Cruxophim, Raelee says, "I will not help you with that."

Xorus says, "Fash'lo'nae would be more interested in experimenting on the girl."

Speaking calmly to Raelee, Cruxophim inquires, "Even to offer speculation?"

Speaking seriously to Xorus, Nehor asks, "If that is the cost for his service...is it too high to pay?"

Evician melodically says, "Either a Commune to the Grandfather or a commune with my Lord Koar's wife...I dont see what prayer, supplication and listening can hurt."

(Raelee pulls her hair over her shoulder to expose the burn scars on the side of her neck.)

Speaking curtly to Cruxophim, Raelee says, "That is from the last conversation I had with him."

Speaking thoughtfully to Evician, Cruxophim suggests, "Why don't you poll around in the next week or so, get opinions and advice, look for those that might offer to he--"

Shinann says, "Something is to be learned from all the gods, but I think if this is tried, Lumnis is the one to go to. She is known for her guidance."

Cruxophim gives a sidelong glance at Raelee.

Albanus says, "You would also need to remove any non-Lornon aligned people from the commune, go to Fash'lo'nae's shrine in Solhaven and perhaps bring an offering, or several. And not get maimed."

Evia says, "As long as we are being as far fetched as possible, transfrom the girl into the demon, her blood will change and make her unaffected, then change the demon back into the girl."

You note, "It is easier to find a cleric of Lumnis if nothing else, from what I've seen."

Evician melodically says, "I agree with the Captain."

Speaking calmly to Raelee, Cruxophim remarks, "It's a lovely neck."

Shinann says, "I am not sure this is the way to go... at all. But that is my thought on it."

Speaking to Albanus, Raelee says, "The Grandfather cares nothing for offerings unless you can bring him something he has never seen before."

Evician melodically says, "Nehor, he probably hasn't seen him before."

Speaking to Raelee, Albanus says, "You have more knowledge of him, I will defer to your judgement."

Speaking to Raelee, Nehor jokes, "I have a few acts he has yet to see."

Speaking to Albanus, Evia says, "Ah, bring him a frolicking Raelee in that case."

Nehor haughtily remarks, "I am unique amongst this dull world."

Xorus says, "Those of us most familiar with such things would be unwise to invite the attention of Lumnis."

Cruxophim absently reminds, "We have some time to think about it, of course. Ponder all the options."

Evician melodically says, "We need to find a high priest of Lumnis, or a priest of Lumnis and talk to them."

Speaking to Cruxophim, Albanus says, "The same would be true for Lumnis. Only Liabo-aligned would be welcomed at such."

Speaking seriously to Cruxophim, Xorus says, "I will not be present if that commune is attempted."

Nehor snidely interjects, "I for one am against calling upon the Gods for their 'help'."

You muse, "Maybe we could have two separate communes."

Cruxophim nonchalantly admits, "I must admit, my strongest impulse would be a curiosity for and a propensity toward the Grandfather, but... I'm not sure that impulse is healthy for most of you."

Nehor arrogantly continues, "Capricious beings, and their attention is more like to harm than assist."

Speaking amicably to you, Cruxophim notes, "I was just thinking that."

Raelee quietly says, "The paradox of a commune to the Grandfather is that by communing, you have... effectively proven you are unworthy."

Thrassus says, "Then they'll treat this as a contest."

You add, "In different locations."

Albanus says, "Magister has a point."

Speaking wryly to Raelee, Cruxophim deadpans, "Sounds like most of my job."

Hapenlok says, "I'm no fan of communes in general, considering that the few I've been involved in...rarely ended well."

Hapenlok says, "Rarely? Hell, more like never."

You slowly offer, "And maybe those communes should be far from the Landing."

Albanus says, "They should be in Solhaven at the Arkati's respective temple."

Cruxophim amicably reminds, "Well, we've started the discussion and established a forum for work, that's a good start."

Albanus says, "Easiest place to do them."

[discussion continues on for a while, but is largely summarized in the above until...]

Speaking calmly to you, Cruxophim states, "I'm going to deputize you and Evician to look into this, if you don't mind. Get some feedback, talk to folks, you know."

You nod in agreement at Cruxophim.

Speaking to Cruxophim, you mention, "I'll check with the Boss if we can run an article in the TownCrier as well."

Speaking amusedly to you, Cruxophim states, "I'll put out a wanted ad for clerics of Lumnis and Fash'lo'nae."

Speaking seriously to Cruxophim, Raelee says, "Do not do it."

Speaking calmly to Evician, Cruxophim requests, "I'm deputizing you and Leafi to look into this, talk to people, do some research and whatnot. Is that amenable?"

Evician melodically says, "Of course."

Speaking seriously to Evician, you assure, "We'll find help for Larsya one way or another."

You give Evician a firm handshake.

Speaking affably to Evician, Cruxophim reminds, "Numbers help, find as many as you can amicable to helping out."

Evician melodically says, "Understood."

Rone's Sudden Strike: Marijka

(OOC) Cruxophim's player whispers to the group, "Well, that was a fun pretty chill KST, heh."

(OOC) You whisper, "Agreed!" to your group.

(OOC) Marijka's player whispers to the group, "I'm not sure yet whether I'm disappointed or relieved to have survived it."

Suddenly, a white-cloaked figure descends into view outside the Mayor's Office window and his feet break through the glass, sending thousands of shards flying everywhere! The white-cloaked figure is suspended by a rope and swings in and wraps an arm around Marijka and then pulls her out through the window with him! The white figure and Marijka swing up onto the rooftop and out of sight.

Shinann blinks.

Cruxophim shudders.

Cruxophim wipes some blood off his face with his hand.

Chaoswynd blinks.

Tetreves ducks his head.

Albanus says, "What the hells."

You slowly say, "Well..."

Xorus chuckles.

You gaze heavenward.

You sing a summons to local spirits with lilting, lightsome, lively lyrics! Sparkling leaves surround you and you sway your sides, lost and swept up in your melody's tide...

Your spell is ready.

You gesture into the air.

A silvery fog envelops you. You feel a sudden lurching motion, and as the fog dissipates you see...

[Moot Hall, Rooftop]

Dark slate runs across the roof of Moot Hall, providing solid footing and an impressive view of the town square below. To the west, the great oak tree in the center of town rises up, partially obscuring the western side of the bazaar. You also see a wooden hatch and a wooden railing.

Also here: the body of Marijka who is lying down

You carefully survey your surroundings and guess that your current location is the town of Wehnimer's Landing or somewhere close to it.

You squint.

A sharp-eared fire wyrdling dashes in.

Pale, swirling mist begins to billow out from nothingness before you, and quickly coalesces into a small orb of shifting essence. Suddenly, the orb expands and forms an elliptical portal of swirling blues and blacks, its edges shrouded in dancing blue-white mist.

You glance dubiously at Marijka.

Hapenlok steps out of the shifting portal.

The shifting portal shimmers slightly, the haze within its glowing outline growing opaque as it contracts to a pinpoint of blue-grey mist and vanishes.

A hatch opens up and Cruxophim climbs into view.

You slowly say, "Well."

Cruxophim fixes his feet shoulder-length apart and straightens his spine, adopting a plainly vigilant posture.

A hatch opens up and Shinann climbs into view.

A hatch opens up and Thrassus climbs into view.

A hatch opens up and Albanus climbs into view.

Pure white and bold red mana wisps dance around you like wind-borne leaves as you hum a cheerful tune and sing a sylvan phrase, preparing your spell.

Your spell is ready.

You gesture at Marijka.

A luminescent web briefly forms around Marijka, then fades into the body.

Cruxophim coldly mutters, "Coward."

A hatch opens up and Chaoswynd climbs into view.

Cruxophim kneels down.

Speaking to Shinann, Hapenlok says, "Well, this is your purview."

Cruxophim sets about preparing Marijka to be as presentable as possible.

A hatch opens up and Xorus climbs into view.

Hapenlok chuckles.

[Crux heals Marijka, Leafi raises her, and some discussion closes out the night]
