You see Serene.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She is shorter than average. She appears to radiate confidence with a hint of youthful spark. She has voluminously lashed lagoon opal-hued eyes and sun-kissed, unblemished skin. She has waist length, ringleted wolf's bane purple hair pinned back on one side with a tricolor imperial dragon hibiscus. She has a perfectly symmetrical, delicately featured face, a pert, daintily upturned nose and thin, lithely muscled arms and dainty wrists. Her talon-like sharp nails are brushed with gold-scaled dragon green polish graced by a plethora of gleaming green glimaerstones on each finger, the thumb showcasing a silver-winged ice dragon.
She is holding an ornate glowbark runestaff ensnaring a dragon-engulfed smoky obsidian orb in her left hand.
She is wearing a herringbone faenor necklace suspending an ebon-hearted star of arcrose, an emerald-eyed skeletal wyrm pendant, a thigh-length viridian scale-patterned jacket edged in onyx fox fur, a gold-scaled evergreen staff sling, a sturdy wintergreen bookbag secured with golden dragon clasps, a fitted taffeta bliaut of shifting green-black faenor hues, an emerald-eyed opalescent vaalin dragon armband with gold-veined wings, a rose gold coiled dragon ring, a faenor-flurried black velvet drawstring gem pouch, some thigh-high cloudy viridian stockings of whisper-thin chiffon, and some tall dragon-scaled emerald leather boots perched atop wickedly sharp stiletto heels.
Early Life
Serene was born in the forest, her mother was a farmer and her father raised horses. She's never been very outspoken and was often described as being very shy as a youngster. She got along more with the horses and chickens than they ever did with other children. As she grew she learned she had an affinity for sensing pain and emotions in others, making her a natural healer. Sensing this unease in others auras, she began to train in magical potions and herbs, with this focus came healing, which has become one of her greatest passions.
She has three older sisters, being the youngest often meant she was left out. She's grown very accustomed to being alone and not needing anyone's assistance. Her father once told her that if she were to ever become lost she'd likely die for her unwillingness to ask for directions.
What she does well
Serene is loyal almost to a fault and she falls in love easily and completely.
She is also giving to a fault, often offering others something she herself needs because of her willingness to help and be needed.
She's come out of her shell quite a bit in the last hundred years. Though her confidence in herself isn't always the best, she still puts on her "acting" mask and will try and act charismatic even when she's feeling awful.
She adores a challenge and trying new things. One of her mottos is "I'll try anything at least twice. Once because you need to get a feel for if you suck or not.." The rest of the answer is a bit risqué so you'll have to ask her yourself why she would try something a second time. I'm sure she'd be happy to tell you.
She is absolutely obsessed with dragons. Growing up on a farm, the concept of a dragon or a beast that could pretty much destroy an entire town is something novel to her. She loves their strength, fearlessness and their need for no one but themselves. All traits she sees in herself or at least very badly desires.
She knows a lot about horses and taking care of them. Most her adolescence was spent raising, caring for and riding horses. She could saddle, bridle and mount a horse faster than most people. She is also good at training, breaking and calming wild horses.
Forgives easily and forgets why she was even angry in the first place. Though she will likely chew a person's head off in one moment, by the morning she's forgotten why she was even upset. She doesn't hold grudges at all and often can shift from being someone's enemy to their best friend in seconds.
She has the ability to laugh at herself because of her fear of failure and people not liking her, she's spent her life making fun of herself and criticizing everything she does as not good enough. For this reason she doesn't get offended easily or judge others harshly. She has probably said a million times worse things to herself, so why would she fault someone for saying something not flattering?
What she probably ought to work on
Serene is often known to speak without thinking. Her tongue can become quite sharp when she's angry because of a very volatile temper. She also will defend the needy to her death, as her need to feel needed often overshadows her self-preservation.
She's rather flighty. She doesn't believe herself all that clever or educated, having come from the wildness, so often she will change courses and jump from one end of the spectrum to the next.
In relationships she's often known to go all in at first but will gradually lose interest because of her need to constantly be challenged.
She jumps to conclusions quickly and gets very jealous very quickly. Because of her own deflated sense of self-worth she often will believe the worst of people with very little proof. It's something she works on, but not as hard as she likely should.
Friendships
Serene is currently dating Dohvah, who is another healer. The two of them are in that lovey dovey phase where everyone wants to kill them.
