The stovetop cooking ladle is a fluff cooking script that applies to miscellaneous items, and is part of the Stovetop cooking utensils family of scripts. It is designed to work with the stovetop cooking system. A ladle has no verbs of its own; it is used automatically when serving from a cooking pot.

Usage Information
A ladle does not need to be held. It is used automatically if it is in hand, in the cook's inventory, in the room, or inside an open container the cook is carrying. Using a ladle changes the messaging only, not the result.

Without a ladle or spoon, the same messages are shown without the "Using..." opening, e.g. "You scoop (serving) out of a cast iron pot."
Additional Information
- A ladle is used when serving a finished soup, stew, or drink from a cooking pot. If no ladle is available, a spoon is used instead.
- GET takes one serving at a time. Food is scooped into a serving bowl held in either hand, or into the cook's hand if there is no bowl. Drinks are scooped into a cup.
- EMPTY moves the entire finished creation into a serving bowl, or sets it out on a Basketifier table that has been unlocked to Tier 5.
Restrictions
- The ladle cannot be lightened or deepened.
- The ladle may be dyed.
