Talk:Onar

Are there references supporting the idea that Onar is neutral instead of aligned with Lornon in the current lore? His ICE incarnation (Omir) was counted among the dark spirits (Kelfour_Edition_volume_II_number_II) but newer references are hard to find. ZHOUY1 (talk) 17:45, 8 November 2016 (CST)
- This came up in the Slack and supposedly documentation has been wrong, but the Arkati boxes are correct. I put it on the list for Kaikala to confirm. VANKRASN39 (talk) 18:07, 8 November 2016 (CST)
- Message from Kaikala:
- He is not neutral. He's definitely dark/Lornon -- considered "Minor Lornon" if we're getting technical; plus he's most closely aligned with Eorgina and Luukos, so he's not a neutral guy. The only time he might be considered as being neutral is if a Liabo Arkati used his services, which would be highly unusual, and even then, I'm not sure we'd classify the action as a neutral one ;)
- As far as the Arkati Boxes: It looks like the coder grouped all of the Lesser Spirits into a group called "Lessers" which got clumped into 'neutral' rather than splitting them into their assigned pantheons (I would suspect in part so that the 'neutral' box had more than Zelia & Gosaena in it, heh). The boxes not having the correct assignment here definitely doesn't change the overall game lore/designation, and I'd be cautious of basing any type of Arkati change on an item/script -- if any Arkati were ever to change pantheon alignment, there would be actual official documentation about it (and definitely some sort of storyline or event to explain the change).
