How Many Sides (sets) Should I Get?
Per someone well versed in shimmer trinkets: "I think the sweet spot for number of sides is 10. Most of my sides only have 3-7 items captured so 10 works out just fine."
10 sides would allow a total of 10 items captured (per side).

- Just for confirmation, when people are talking about items captured per side... it's the number of items shown, instead of the items hidden, correct? So, if one of my shimmer trinket's sides has 5 items showing (and a bunch of others hidden), I could have upwards of 95 items on other sides? CLTIDBALL (talk) 20:09, 12 August 2021 (CDT)
- Per GM Xeraphina shimmer trinkets do not count/capture hidden items.
- I think the key thing here is knowing how many sides you have. Let's say you have 5 sides... that means you can have a max of 20 items per side (100 items max / 5 sides = 20 items per side). So in your example (let's ignore hidden items and just say you have 5 items) you would have "5 of 20" on side 1, and "??? of 20" on each of the other 4 sides. So no, you wouldn't be able to go to 95.. you're limited to 20. If you add a 6th side.. this number goes down a bit more (100 / 6 = 16 items per side). WINTERDAWN (talk) 20:20, 12 August 2021 (CDT)
