Thanris Akeleyn Faendryl was the sixteenth Faendryl Patriarch. His reign was during an era of many advances in the arcane. He had Elizhabet Mahkra Faendryl Asylum for the Thaumaturgically Unsettled created, named after his sister. Elizhabet Mahkra Faendryl was a well known sorceress amongst the Faendryl. It is rumored that she was the first to ever breach the veil into other valences, but this revolutionary advance also cost her her sanity. In this age of similar advances, there was a growing trend of sorcerers losing their minds due to trial and error, and it was for this purpose that the asylum was created, to care for those whose sanity had been unseated. Elizahabet Mahkra was its first guest, and she never recovered.
