Brass-chained starburst censers are suspended high above the aged wooden bookshelves lining the brocaded walls of the shop, the faint scent of saffron and jasmine permeating the air. A duo of embroidered velvet cushions sit at the center of a knitted maedatha rug, the seating separated by a low-set table of lacquered ebony.

Show:The smoke grey mithril of the book has been engraved with an intricate pattern of swirls and geometric patterns. At the center of the design, a rearing mithril horse bearing a grim knight is silhouetted against an inlaid golden sun. Fiery tendrils of gold radiate from the sun like lightning radiating from storm clouds, and more gold inlay beneath the horse's hooves reads, "The Day -- by Ramladu Stormcheck". Show:Fine golden mithril edges the burnished brown leather, which is dyed in an even mottled pattern not unlike the pattern on a piece of fossilized coral. A small golden crossed-sabers signet rests on the book's wide spine, while the front cover bears a gilded border. The pentacle in the center of the cover is filled with crushed despanal. Flowing down from the pentacle, the despanal forms the name "Despana" in bold lettering. In the lower right corner, almost as an afterthought, it shows the author's signature: "by Maltreis Eilindel Faendryl". Analyze:This is a book!
