Introduced as an Event Vault Special Item, the Spidersilk Apothecary is an altering device. It allows you to collect spiders with special abilities and alterations to them that can modify your items if they qualify. They can modify items that are unscripted, allowed to be dyed, and a number of other scripts that have permission. The primary qualifiers are listed on the spiders, which can be obtained by a spiderweb in Naidem at Graveyard Temporalis, Outer Rim (8083361).

Meticulously crafted, the octagonal shadow box is framed in glossy ebonwood. Its back wall is fitted with a smoky, obsidian mirror that seems to absorb all light. Eight tiny, glinting silver anchors rest within the corners, their tips curled so that the ring is almost closed. Cool to the touch, the shadow box smells faintly of nightblooming flowers and varnish.
