Kennan stares longingly at a happy couple as they pass by before quietly saying to herself, "Always a bridesmaid, and never a bride."

Kennan mutters quietly to herself as she rearranges the purple orchids on the desk, "Those who don't wed, plan."

Kennan brushes at some stray water beads that have gathered along the skirt of her gown.
