Woven Chain

A Woven Chain is created via the weaving system from multiple weavable items. It requires multiple weavable items in order to be completed. Woven Chains can be crafted into a wide variety of object types as part of the weaving process, many of which can be worn or further customized with other tools.

The current list of woven item options include: ankle-cuff, anklet, armband, armbands, basket, belt, bouquet, boutonniere, bracelet, chain, choker, circlet, collar, corsage (pinworn version), corsage (wristworn version), crown, garland, girdle, headband, headdress, necklace, strand, veil, and wrist-cuff.

Depending on how many weavable items are used to create it, the end product's description may vary. For example, it will appear as "loosely woven" when created with very few items and "intricately woven" when created with very many. See the chart below for the full list of appearance options and quantity requirements for each woven item type.

In-Process Woven Chain

The Woven Chain is first created by using WEAVE with two weavable items. Additional weavable can be added in the same manner until the Woven Chain is ready to be completed. See the weaving system article for a full explanation on how to create things via weavable items.

Analyze

You analyze the woven chain and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
This is an in-progress chain formed from weavable items. Merchants will not alter this item under any circumstances.

You can try to WEAVE chain WITH more individual weavable items. You can also try to TURN and PULL the chain.

You get no sense of whether or not the chain may be further lightened.

Usage

Finishes an in-process woven chain and turns it into a completed woven object. Requires confirmation.

Completed Woven Chain

Once an in-process woven chain is finished, it is turned into a completed woven object. Depending on the type of woven object, it may or may not be able to be worn. See the creations and styles chart for the full list of appearance options and quantity requirements for each woven item type.

Completed woven items do not have any special verb messaging. Certain woven items can have fluff scripts added to them via secateurs from the Weave a Little Dream of Me Collection I tool set. The Unbe-Weave-able Mount Tool trimmer can modify certain woven items so that they can be worn by mounts.

Analyze

You analyze the woven bracelet and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
This is a Woven Chain (i.e. it was created via weaving!) A talented merchant can alter it but only with heavy caveats: the noun cannot change unless it is to alter it back to its default wording (this item's default noun is a "bracelet"), and the long description is currently unable to be altered. You can add a show that does not contradict the hard-coded LOOK.

You get no sense of whether or not the bracelet may be further lightened.

Adding Scripts

Secateurs from the Weave a Little Dream of Me Collection I are special tools that can be used on completed woven items to add a fluff script to them. Unbe-Weave-able Mount Tool trimmers work just like the secateurs, except they convert completed woven items into accessories that can be worn by mounts. They are an optional item intended to elevate woven items created via the weaving system. See either article for the full list of available scripts.
