The Brooch of Lumnis is a quintuple orb brooch that can be purchased from a monk in the Needle of Pentas during the Trials of Lumnis. This pin-worn item has five benefits. The benefits can be changed at this event via TURN an unlimited amount of times. The brooch can be set to another benefit once a month outside of the Rings of Lumnis event. To change it to something outside of the event, you will need to make your way to the DragonSpine Fane and seek the niche dedicated to Lumnis there. (Lich Room ID: [Zul Logoth, Ancient Passage - 26072]) You will have an hour after you make the decision to change it if you want to change it back, but after that, there is a month cooldown. The brooch also unlocks verbs that do cosmetic changes to your character as well as additional messaging for your relic after completing a number of increments to your brooch. AnalyzeYou analyze your quintuple orb brooch and sense that the creator has provided the following information: The quintuple orb brooch is a Rings of Lumnis event prize. It is not attuned to your account. It has been used in the following number of runs during the Rings of Lumnis: Planar: 10, resulting in +100 field experience capacity Spiritual: 10, resulting in the ability to instantly absorb 100 experience Elemental: 10, resulting in the 10% chance to reroll various checks while on Adventurer's Guild tasks Chaos: 305, resulting in a bonus of 600 + up to a 10% bonus when used for other orbs Order: 10, resulting in +100 bounty points when turning in Adventurer's Guild tasks These bonuses are only active while the brooch's effect is active or when triggered and it is not on cooldown. It is currently set to Chaos, which will use the Planar benefit when next activated. You may freely change the focused orb while at the Rings of Lumnis event, but outside of it, you must seek Lumnis' shrine in the Ancient Passage in Zul Logoth. From there you may change the orb every 30 days. Daily uses reset at midnight. You have used each orb: 0 out of 3 The following verbs are available to use with it: rub, turn, tap, cover, tickle, spin, push, touch, and pull. You can tell that the brooch is as light as it can get. Usage
Note: Where [color] it is red, blue, green, black, or white. Where [special color] it is crimson, cerulean, viridian, ebon, or golden. Additional InformationOrbs & FunctionEach orb can gain charges based on how many runs of the Trials of Lumnis are done on any given Ring when visiting Liabo through the Needle of Pentas.
Liabo Moon Bonus
Liabo has a very short orbit at just over 7 days (7.449 days) and lasts roughly 29.2 hours. A carefully timed usage can get some extra mileage out of the brooch with these full moons. To see the current Liabo moon phase, be outside and LOOK LIABO. Upgrading BroochesThe brooch can be upgraded quite a bit. It starts out gaining benefits very rapidly, but slows downs as the potency becomes stronger. Planar, Spiritual, and Order take the total you have and directly add it to the benefit. Elemental is a bit different in that the number translates to a percent bonus where +100 equals 10 (always rounding down). Chaos will randomly select one of the other benefits with a chance to be up to 10% more of a bonus. The brooch MUST be activated to use. Spiritual is instantly used. The others stay active for thirty (30) minutes. The brooch starts off at 1x/day, but with many runs, you can begin to gain additional uses. Gaining extra uses takes the entire brooch's progress into account, not just the specific benefits, as does unlocking verbs. Don't worry about memorizing the numbers. ANALYZE the brooch for details on your progress and brooch benefits. The brooch is account attuned (only one allowed per account), but passing the brooch off is completely your responsibility. The cooldown resets at midnight. ANALYZE provides much information, such as: the unlocked verbs, the number of times it has been used today, and the currently selected orb (also available via LOOK). If you need to re-specialize (respec) which benefit you've assigned runs to on your brooch, you can do so by speaking to the NPC at the center of the zone and they charge 50k silver per run that is reassigned. A lithe giantkin monk nods slowly and says, "You want to know more about changing the allocations of your trials? I am able to do this for you as long as you're holding the brooch in your right hand. In addition, there will be a charge for my time. For every rank that I transfer, it will cost you 50,000 silvers. It's a painless process on your end, and all you have to do is ASK MONK ABOUT EXCHANGE <# of ranks> <RING to move from> <RING to move to>." Dyannae continues, "I will ask your approval first before making any changes to your item." 2021 Upgrade OptionASK MONK ABOUT UPGRADE. For the cost 1,000,000 silver, your brooch will be unlocked for these new benefits:
All rings except spiritual stack duration if rubbed multiple times. For example at 100 runs you could rub the brooch while planar is selected to get an hour of the extended experience pool. x/Day TargetsIn the case of the spiritual brooch bonus, the amount of experience absorbed is limited to the size of a characters field experience pool. Higher thresholds therefore require increased pool sizes. This is most easily accomplished with the planar brooch bonus.
Simucoin CostThe following table will show you the cost and benefit of unlocking one portion of the brooch, and the maximum cost and benefit of a fully unlocked brooch.
