Type System
Demeanor-based No
Wedding No
System Combat

AIM can be used to target a body location when using ATTACK, AMBUSH, or WAYLAY for melee weapons, FIRE for ranged weapons, and unarmed combat (JAB, PUNCH, KICK, GRAPPLE). It will also cause Limb Disruption (708) to automatically target a specific limb if one is specified via AIM.

Help

Note: This populates when using AIM by itself, and does not work with AIM HELP.

USAGE: AIM {location} Sets your default aiming preference
AIM CLEAR Clears your default aiming preference
AIM RANDOM Same as AIM CLEAR
AIM LIST Produces a list of aimable locations

You're currently attempting to aim at the neck of your target on each firing or ambush.

Usage

Location

AIM {location} is used to specify a location for aiming preference. This will be the default location for all attacks, but may not be successful based on the mechanics success rate.

Note: Left and right may be omitted and will default to the right if not explicitly defined.

Messaging

Note: Messaging has not yet been updated to reflect changes to aim.

>aim neck
You're now aiming at the neck of your target when using a ranged weapon, or while ambushing.

>aim right leg
You're now aiming at the right leg of your target when using a ranged weapon, or while ambushing.

CLEAR or RANDOM

AMBUSH CLEAR and AMBUSH RANDOM are synonymous in use and will cause the user's aim to be random.

Messaging
>aim clear
You're now no longer aiming at anything in particular.

>aim random
You're now no longer aiming at anything in particular.

LIST

AIM LIST will populate a list of valid areas to aim when attacking.
