Petticoats

Petticoats (also, underskirts) are scripted undergarments that can be worn alone or attached to a dress or gown. They were first released in 2013 at Return to Coraesine Field. They have been available at other festivals and pay events since, and are sold year round at Reim Base Camp. Unlocks have been sold at Quinton Manse in Evermore Hollow during Ebon Gate. Some verbs act differently when the petticoats are worn with the gown as a separate item as opposed to laced with the gown. In most cases, when laced with a gown, the gown takes on the active verbs. When worn as a separate item, the petticoats maintain the verbs. This script can be added with a Darning Awl to petticoats crafted with knitting needles. The script added will be at Tier 1 and can be unlocked normally. Tier 1 Tier 1 petticoats can be attached to gowns or worn seperately. Analyze You analyze your lace underskirts and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions, but the creator has stated that "The item has restrictions on changing the noun." The creator has also provided the following information: This lace underskirts can either be worn beneath a gown or laced into one to change the gown's description. The lace underskirts are off-the-shelf and trapped for LACE, UNLACE, WEAR, and REMOVE. The lace underskirts may be altered as long as it remains some sort of underskirt or petticoat that would be acceptable as part of a gown alteration. It is not intended to be lingerie or risque. Keep in mind that the underskirts will not be visible in your inventory when you are wearing it alone. Usage Verb Worn Style First Third LACE {PETTICOAT} Laced with gown You layer your blue dress over your frilly white petticoats and lace the petticoats into place, leaving you with a sky blue dress over some frilly white petticoats. XXX layers a sky blue dress over her frilly white petticoats and laces the petticoats into place. Attach petticoat to gown. REMOVE {PETTICOAT} Not laced with gown You discreetly unhook your frilly white petticoats beneath your white pinafore and slip the petticoats off before stepping out of them. XXX adjusts the folds of her blue dress, gathering the skirts in closer around her body. REMOVE {GOWN} Laced with petticoat You slowly slip off your blue dress, dropping the wide skirts to the floor and carefully stepping out of the dress.
