Small statue

A small statue is a creature treasure found item which contains the spell Spirit Guard (1712). Statues can also be purchased in pawn shops (approximately 1500 to 1600 silvers for 4 charge statues) and player shops subject to availability.

The defensive magic within the statue creates a "faint silvery glow" around the user's body.

Description

The small statue is formed from the highest quality material. It is strikingly crafted in fine, superb detail. The statue seems to represent a supernatural entity of great power, possibly a god.

Activation Method

Rub the statue to activate the magic (no magic item activation skill is required). However, ranks in the magic item use skill will increase the duration.

Duration

1200 seconds (base) + 30 secs per MIU rank (cumulative per rub). The SPELL ACTIVE command will display the spell's remaining duration.

Defensive Bonus

The magic within increases one's melee, ranged, unarmed combat and bolt defensive strength by +25.

Charges

Each statue contains two to five charges but will generally be found with four.

Weight

Statues weigh 2 lbs. each.

Initial cast:

A faint silvery glow fades from around you.

Last charge:

The small statue suddenly disintegrates!
