Society

There are now three societies in GemStone IV.

• The Order of Voln

A society formed in honor of Voln and the other Arkati of Liabo. Its sole purpose is the destruction of the Undead and all who would use them for their own ends.

• The Council of Light

A society once based within Wehnimer's Landing, it was discovered by the officials and forcibly banished from town. Rumors persist that the entire thing was an elaborate sham, and that the Council remains active.

• The Guardians of Sunfist

The newest society to join Elanthia, the Guardians were the first effective response to the Grimswarm invasions. Little is known about their nature as they only just were released.

Societal Abilities

Most societies grant their members various abilities as they progress through their ranks. Each has its own method of earning advancement.
