Valence Armor is part of the Valence armaments script set. It was introduced at Duskruin Arena in February 2022. They were designed by GM Kenstrom and GM Mestys. Valence Armor synergizes when used with a Valence Weapon of any type. There are several varieties of Valence Weapons. The original Valence Weapons were exclusively edged weapons, such as swords and daggers, and debuted alongside Valene Armor. Additional Valence Weapon types were introduced in 2023, with blunt, ranged, and runestaff varieties. Each variety uses similar traps but has slightly different flavor messaging. Valence armaments are sold at the Beyond Barriers shop. Tier 1Tier 1 Valence Armor has access to one passive ability, plus a second special ability if used with a Valence Weapon of any type. Lash of Lorae'tyr: Passive ability. Reactive "temporal" flares, which cause Disintegration damage + RT. Volley of the Verlok: (KNOCK) - Special ability is only available when used in conjunction with a Valence Weapon of any type. Releases a number of SMR attacks on a target, based on the average total tiers unlocked between the armor and weapon. Inflicts Blindness on the target. Cooldown: 30 minutes.AnalyzeYou analyze the enruned brigandine and sense that the creator has provided the following information: The description of the enruned brigandine may be freely altered. The enruned brigandine is Valence Armor, which temporarily allows its bearer to tap into the energy of various other valences and channel that power in offensive and defensive ways. The brigandine is tier 1 of 4. This means that it has access to the following verbs: REMOVE, WEAR, Reactive Flares (Lash of Lorae'tyr). Bearing both a Valence Armor and a Valence Weapon unlocks a special ability (Volley of the Verlok), which is activated via KNOCK to release a number of attacks toward a target based on the average tier of the armor and weapon. When successful, this ability also inflicts Blindness on the target. You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the enruned brigandine for you. Usage
Tier 2At Tier 2, Valence Armor gains a new ability and two more fluff verb traps. Surge of the Rift: HP/Mana regen buff for 15 minutes. (+5 per tier, maximum +20 HP/Mana). Cooldown: 60 minutes.Usage
Tier 3At Tier 3, Valence Armor gains a new ability and two more fluff verb traps. Shroud of Shien'tyr: Summon Darkness and bestow a defensive effect. Adds a Darkness effect in the room and hides the player with a +25 DS/+15 TD defensive effect. Cooldown: 10 minutes, reduced to 5 minutes at Tier 4.Usage

You analyze the miniature verlok and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions. The creator has also provided the following information: Your verlok is used to unlock the potential of things held in your other hand or on your person. An ebonwood miniature verlok grants the Valence Armor script at Tier 1/OTS to unscripted chest armor. You need only RAISE your verlok while holding a compatible item in your other hand or on your person. Your verlok may not be altered or changed in any way.
