Rillarie Telepsawe Ardenai is an elven ranger and follower of Imaera from Ta'Ardenai.

Rillarie Telepsawe Ardenai is an Elven Ranger.
Little enough is known about her, and with good reason. Why would anyone care about another young adventurer in Landing? Those who have encountered her might know she is not shy about where she comes from and what one should enjoy from life, nor is she afraid of trying new things or taking a stab at being entertaining (news flash: not a bard). She recently became a member of Willow Hall and is a newly added recruit to the ranks of the Drakes Vanguard and Guardians of Sunfist.

Rill is never far from her hunter gelding outside of Landing, and more and more in Icemule; they often forage for random things in random places - sometimes well above her training to handle. ==Background==
Born and raised on the northern border of the Darkling Wood and the steppes beyond, Rillarie learned from an early age how to hunt, forage, work with horses, and contribute to ranch life as best her coltish little body would allow. Her parents (Nhaerik of Ardenai and Myrilyn of Nalfein) had settled the land nearly 200 years before her birth, with three fine sons (Tolorel, Jesirhin, and Rychai) birthed before her. All the family were excellent teachers and even better protectors, so she grew up in contentment and freedom.

It was because of their horses that Lilanna Silverveil came into Rill's life; the sylvan's parents were near-constant travelers, and roughly once every ten years, they would make their way to the Telepsawe farm to purchase new draft stock. The families would also socialize and enjoy a few days of rest. It was always with excitement and wonder that Rillarie would look forward to these visits, as she had grown to view Lilanna like the big sister she never had. Then, they suddenly stopped corresponding, and the family never discovered what had happened to their 'cousins' until much later.

When the young Ranger-hopeful finally decided to leave home and to try to make a name for herself in the world, she was gifted several tools to see her off; it was simultaneously a happy and sad departure, but Rillarie was determined to return at some point during Winterfest in the following winter. Arriving in Landing not long after, one of the first people she happened to meet was Lilanna, though much changed as a great deal of time had passed. The older woman had matured considerably but still welcomed Rillarie with open arms. When time allowed them to sit and discuss, part of the nearly visible weight about Lilanna's shoulders became clear - the passing of her parents had been the reason for the sudden cease of their families' gatherings. Finding the news far too hard to deliver, the bardess had never been able to send word. Despite the sadness of time lost, it became obvious that they had not lost fondness for one another in the intervening years. Without really speaking it out loud, it was a given that they would look after each other in this land so far from their ancestral ones.

And so it was here that the story truly begins to unfold, and our young Ranger takes her first steps on a path that will no doubt be perilous - but also joyful and rewarding.
Born in 4946 and raised on the northern border of the Darkling Wood and the steppes beyond, Rillarie learned from an early age how to hunt, forage, work with horses, and contribute to ranch life as best her coltish little body would allow in that harsh and unforgiving land. Her parents had known Lilanna Silverveil's folk centuries ago, though the families had drifted apart over time once the Sylvankind settled in Landing. A letter was addressed to these old friends and given to Rillarie as an introduction so she might at least know a few people in her new home. Rillarie Telepsawe Ardenai is an Elven Ranger.

Little enough is known about the young elf save for her profession, and with good reason. Why would anyone care about another young adventurer? Those who have encountered her might understand she is not shy about where she comes from and what one should enjoy from life, nor is she afraid of trying new things and her humor is often dry, but not unkind.

It's certainly no secret that Rill is an avid fisherwoman, as she's like to bend your ear about angling if you'll engage in such discussions. She also enjoys making creative lures that are slowly gaining a reputation for their excellent catch rates. When she takes time away from helping folk, she is often in the company of her hunter gelding or a massive, fluffy white hound with intelligent golden eyes, exploring whatever land she visits.

At a Glance

She is taller than average and appears to be in the bloom of youth. She has bright amber eyes, sun-kissed light brown skin, and waist-length, curly ginger hair most often worn in a ponytail or careless bun atop her head. She has a delicate face, a small button nose, and high cheekbones.

Background

Born in 4946 and raised on the northern border of the Darkling Wood and the steppes beyond, Rillarie learned from an early age how to hunt, forage, work with horses, and contribute to ranch life as best her coltish little body would allow in that harsh and unforgiving land. Her parents (Nhaerik of Ardenai and Myrilyn of Nalfein) had settled the land nearly 200 years before her birth, with three fine sons (Tolorel, Jesirhin, and Rychai) born before her. All of her family were excellent teachers and even better protectors, so she grew up in contentment and freedom.

When the young Ranger-hopeful finally decided to leave home and try to make a name for herself in the fall of 5123, rites were given and she was gifted several tools to see her off; it was simultaneously a happy and sad departure, but Rillarie was determined to return home early and often. Her parents had known Lilanna Silverveil's folk centuries ago, though the families had drifted apart over time once the Sylvankind settled in Landing. A letter was addressed to these old friends and given to Rillarie as an introduction so she might at least know a few people in her new home. Unfortunately, Lilanna's parents had already passed through the Ebon Gate, the reason for their ceased contact nearly two centuries prior. Rill was heartbroken at the inability to meet the warm couple her family had described but pleased to find a smart, steadfast, and loyal friend in their daughter.
