Flashes of malevolent imagery enter your mind's eye, and the cacophony of voices continue to overwhelm your senses, though since the multitude of voices overlay each other, it's impossible to pick up any singular phrases. You feel the edges of your sanity begin to fray under the mental assault, and an impossibly loud voice roars over the cacophony, [R] angrily asking, "Why do you resist?" [/R]

The Lower Self vissi is a chimera vissi that is part of the vissi system. It must be placed inside an arcarium to function. As a singular vissi, it has the same effect no matter what type of arcarium houses it.

Every obstacle that ever stood in your way, every desire you were told to suppress: the lower self remembers them all, and it is done being patient. Power, riches, dominion: the vissi doesn't judge. It encourages.

Tier 1

The vissi provides a random ambient message.

Analyze

You analyze the Lower Self vissi and sense that the creator has provided the following information:

The Lower Self vissi can be added to a vissi artifact in order to augment the artifact with custom abilities.  Each vissi artifact may hold up to 5 different types of vissi, and each vissi may be upgradable by adding additional vissi of the same type to the artifact.

The Lower Self vissi is named Lower Self and it is a Chimera vissi.

This vissi notes the following ability information:

Struggle with your inner dark side alongside your companion vissi.

The vissi may have abilities you can activate by using certain verbs (RUB, TAP, PUSH, PULL, or POKE) on the vissi artifact you add them to.  In order to set the activator, use ATTEND on the vissi.  The vissi might not have an ability you may activate, in which case ATTEND will indicate that.

Sometimes, a vissi may have multiple abilities you can activate with the activator verbs.  You can TILT the vissi to switch between them.  Tilt will not respond if the vissi has only a single ability (or no abilities at all).  You may only have one ability active at a time.

In addition, the vissi may have abilities with customizable messaging options.  You can TURN the vissi to customize each set of options.  Once on a set of options, you can TWIST the vissi to cycle through the available customizations.

Finally, some vissi may contain ambient messaging, which you can toggle on or off with COVER.

Usage

Verb First Third
Ambient Harsh whispers and guttural voices rack your brain as your orb bleeds away all color and definition, adopting an oppressive abyssal black hue. Flashes of malevolent imagery enter your mind's eye, and the cacophony of voices continue to overwhelm your senses, though since the multitude of voices overlay each other, it's impossible to pick up any singular phrases. You feel the edges of your sanity begin to fray under the mental assault, and an impossibly loud voice roars over the cacophony, angrily asking, "Why do you resist?"

And then just as quickly as the onslaught began, it ends, and your orb resumes its normal appearance. 		This section has not been added yet; please add to it now!

POKE / PULL / PUSH / RUB / TAP {ARCARIUM} You reflect for a moment upon all those that have unsuccessfully stood in your way up to this moment. As you do so, a deep inner rage springs forth as past incidents and foes flash through your mind in increasingly fleeting succession.

As your anger overwhelms you, the images of the past bleed into the present, and you begin to focus on all that currently stands in your way. People, laws, societal expectations all mere constructs designed to thwart your progress. Realizing that [1] every dog has its day [/1], you swallow your rage [2] . [/2] 		Person's body and facial features suddenly tighten like a coiled spring ready to snap as she appears to become incensed at an unknown source. As the anger increasingly consumes her, a grotesque mirror image of her face seems to overlay the original, its twisted form [3] radiating pure wrath. [/3] Person's original face and the fury-fueled echo shift and bleed into one another, as if battling for supremacy, before she resumes control of her demeanor and the echo fades away. Tier 3

The vissi offers customization of the Tier 2 verb messaging with pre-set options among the individual segments. Cycling through customization options is done via TURN and TWIST.

The vissi has "Avaricious Whisper" verb messaging as an alternate set of messaging for its activator verb, which can be set or changed via ATTEND. You can cycle between the Tier 4 and Tier 2 verb messaging sets via TILT. Only one of the available verb messaging sets can be active at a time.

Requires 22 duplicates to upgrade from Tier 3 to Tier 4.
