An arcarium is a device that is used to house vissi as part of the vissi system. Arcarium are worn in their own unique inventory slot, similar to a gilded locus. They come in two varieties: aversaris and vangaris. A character can wear one of each type of arcarium. Each arcarium can house up to 5 vissi, including up to 3 primal (mechanical) vissi. All slotted vissi are listed in the arcarium's analyze information, and all five slotted vissi are active at once. Only a single copy of one vissi can be inserted into a single arcarium; inserting duplicates will combine them. Aversaris arcarium house primal vissi that are generally offensive in nature. Vangaris arcarium house primal vissi that are generally supportive in nature. Both types also house chimera (roleplay/fluff) vissi. PROD toggles whether an individual arcarium shows up in a unique feature line or not. When activated, the arcarium will appear as:
Note: The worn location is currently bugged and registers as pin-worn, which does count toward the total number of pin-worns for that inventory slot. Its feature modifying aspect is also currently bugged when used in combination with feature-modifying items, such as shimmer trinkets and others. AnalyzeYou analyze the vangaris arcarium and sense that the creator has provided the following information:
The vangaris arcarium is a vangaris vissi artifact that is customizable by augmenting it with vissi threads. It can be augmented with up to 5 different types of vissi. Each vissi may be able to be upgraded with additional threads of the same type. When added to the artifact, the vissi may grant abilities, boosts, or customizations.
Some vissi may have abilities you can activate with specific verbs. If you have augmented it with a vissi that can be activated, those verbs will be listed below. To activate the ability with a target, use AT [target].
You can use prod to toggle your artifact from active to inert. [Your vangaris arcarium is currently in the inert state.]

Additional InformationAvailable AppearancesThere initial/prologue run of the Inquisitor included 19 different default arcarium appearances. These appearances were identical between aversaris and vangaris versions, other than stating that they are aversaris vs vangaris arcairum. When worn and activated via PROD, the arcarium manifests as an orb floating over the character's shoulder. The orb's appearance corresponds to the following default options:
a brilliant emerald orb with ebon striations Emerald green radiates from the orb, vibrant and intense, while dark ebon striations slice through its surface. These streaks run in varied, diagonal patterns, creating an intricate web of contrast against the glowing green. They do not disrupt the orb's smooth curvature but enhance its complexity.
a deep crimson sphere with subtle cracks along the surface Rich, blood-red in color, the sphere's smooth surface is interrupted by subtle cracks, thin and delicate. Irregular veins of fracture stretch across its form, breaking the otherwise solid crimson hue. These imperfections are faint, almost hidden, but they create a noticeable contrast against the orb's vibrant exterior. Despite the cracks, the sphere retains its flawless round shape, adding a quiet complexity to its bold appearance.
a smooth onyx orb with a reflective surface Jet black and flawless, the onyx orb's surface is mirrorlike and reflective. Light shifts softly across it, changing with the movement of the orb. Its glossy exterior absorbs everything around it, creating infinite reflections, as if the orb holds endless depths within its darkened shell.
a bright turquoise sphere speckled with patches of dark jade Vivid turquoise is speckled with dark jade patches that contrast sharply against the bright surface. These patches scatter unevenly, breaking the smoothness with their deep, rich hue. The irregular patterns form a design that feels both chaotic and balanced, as if nature itself had a hand in their placement.
a dark amethyst globe with a clear starred center Deep purple with a rich, saturated color, the dark amethyst globe contains a clear star-shaped formation at its center. The star appears to glow from within, creating a sharp contrast against the opaque exterior. The clarity at its heart suggests an otherworldly presence, like a galaxy frozen in time at the core.
a translucent topaz ball with tiny indentations A warm honey-like hue defines the translucent topaz ball, catching light in soft, golden flashes. The surface is generally smooth, with tiny indentations scattered across it, subtle unless closely examined. These imperfections create slight dips, adding texture and character without disrupting the clarity of the stone.
a rose quartz sphere marred by internal fractures A gentle pink glow radiates from the rose quartz sphere, its surface smooth yet marred by internal fractures. The cracks appear delicate, as though formed under immense pressure, yet they enhance the orb's beauty, adding layers of depth. They catch the light in soft, shimmering patterns, creating a subtle play of reflections within the stone. Despite the imperfections, the orb maintains an elegant, serene quality, its pale hue exuding warmth and tranquility.
a matte charcoal orb etched with swirling vines Deep and dark, the charcoal orb is etched with intricate, swirling vines that wrap around its surface. Each tendril curls in elegant symmetry, creating flowing patterns that contrast with the matte finish. The fine etchings evoke a balance of simplicity and complexity, with the vines seeming almost alive in their movement.
a dark jade orb marbled with crimson veins A rich, deep green, the jade orb is marbled with vibrant crimson veins that twist and curl, creating an intricate pattern across its surface. These veins stand out sharply against the darker shade, their bold red hue contrasting in a mesmerizing dance of color. The veins seem to pulse with energy, their jagged paths adding complexity to the smooth texture.
a pale grey ball inlaid with flowing glyphs Subtle and almost neutral, the pale grey ball is adorned with flowing glyphs etched in gold. These delicate symbols curve gracefully across its surface, their intricate lines creating an organic pattern that feels both random and deliberate. The gold shines brightly against the muted grey, catching the light in soft glimmers, while the smooth surface adds a serene, cool quality to the orb's overall appearance.
a smooth platinum globe etched with faded runes Cool and reflective, the platinum globe gleams with a flawless metallic sheen. Etched into its surface are faded runes, worn by time, forming a ring around the orb's circumference. At first glance, the runes seem almost imperceptible, but closer inspection reveals ancient symbols.
a translucent opal stone slightly chipped about the edges Clear with shifting hues of pink, blue, and green, the opal stone's edges are slightly chipped, as though time or impact had taken its toll. The fractures form an irregular, fractured border, contrasting with the otherwise smooth surface. Light dances through the stone, accentuating the chips and revealing depth in its shifting colors.
a cobalt sphere with a rough surface Deep blue and bold, the cobalt sphere's surface is rough and uneven, marred by scratches and dents that give it a rugged, worn appearance. Despite the imperfections, the orb retains its perfect round shape, with sharp edges catching light in irregular glints. The rough texture contrasts with the intensity of its color, creating a striking visual effect.
a smooth amber orb with a dark emerald heart Golden and smooth, the amber orb contains a deep emerald heart at its core, the dark green contrasting sharply against the warmer hue. The sphere seems to pulse with an inner rhythm, lending an almost living quality, as if the glowing core is quietly watching.
a shimmering obsidian ball incised with pale ivory Dark and glossy, the obsidian ball reflects light in subtle shifting patterns. Incised into its surface are pale ivory sigils, arranged in concentric circles. The smooth surface contrasts with the delicate carvings, which faintly glow when the orb is rotated, revealing the ancient markings.
a translucent amaranthine stone with tiny jagged edges A delicate soft purple, the amaranthine stone is translucent with jagged edges that refract light into glimmering prisms. Small, irregular fractures cross its surface, their rough patches catching the eye and creating a fragmented beauty. Light passes through, casting a soft glow from the center, surrounded by darker, sharp contours.
a dark sapphire jewel with a glossy finish Deep blue and glossy, the sapphire jewel gleams with sharp, precise glints. Its flawless surface creates an impression of a vast ocean, mysterious and profound. The jewel's surface holds a quiet allure, as though it hides an entire universe within its depths, waiting to be explored.
an ivory sphere rippling with faint ridges Smooth and creamy, the ivory sphere is subtly interrupted by faint ridges that ripple outward in delicate waves. Light catches the ridges in such a way that they shift, lending the orb an ever-changing texture. These soft undulations create a sense of life, as though the sphere were once in motion and now frozen in a gentle pause.
a golden orb with a pearlescent surface Aureate hues glow softly from the orb, its pearlescent surface shifting with gentle waves of light. Gold, cream, and amber blend across the smooth curves, giving the orb the appearance of liquid metal frozen in time. As light moves over it, the orb seems to change, its solid form giving way to an illusionary depth that plays with the eye. See Also |
