Lythena nods once, almost to herself, while gazing off into the distance. In a quiet, clear voice she says to you, "It's a wise decision to not proceed with something this grave if you do not feel you are prepared to bear the full weight of the decision." She raises her voice enough to acknowledging all present, stating, "Refreshments have been provided; the couple would still wish you to enjoy them." Turning on her heels, she glides silently out. |

Description
You see Lythena the High Priestess of the Temple of Gosaena.
She appears to be a Sylvankind.
She is tall and appears to be in the meridian of life. She has pale-lashed aspen green eyes and stark snow white skin. She has long, gleaming dark silver hair with delicately woven plaiting at the temples. She has a severely pallid complexion that enhances the deep rose coloring of her thin mouth.
She is in good shape.
She is wearing a slender silver circlet set with an ivory-veined moss agate star, a sharply curved steel sickle pendant, a floor-length platinum chainsil robe with faintly belled sleeves, a twisted niveous raw silk cincture, and a pair of slim smoky grey suede poulaines.
Ceremony
Lythena's steps seem to fall silently as she reaches for BRIDE's hand, followed by yours. With a soft yet firm grip, she guides you to the front of the crowd, marked most notably by its serene silence. "Friends, family, and loved ones, we gather under Gosaena's impartial gaze to witness the coming together of GROOM and BRIDE," says Lythena.
Her voice rings out like a small bell through the still air as Lythena continues, "It is well known that to each Beginning there comes an End. It is not so well known as to when that End may be, and so it is up to each of us to make the best of every moment we have."
Lythena's face remains solemn even as her eyes soften just slightly, "To spend those moments granted to us before passing the Ebon Gate in love is one of the most serious affirmations of life. This bond is not to be taken lightly, as it is a vow to each other, and to Gosaena, to see through all times, bad and good."
Turning her own impartial gaze on you, Lythena asks, "Will you walk beside BRIDE faithfully, until one of you crosses beyond the Ebon Gate and into the waiting presence of Gosaena? Answer true, for She already knows."
Turning her impartial gaze to focus on BRIDE, Lythena repeats the question, "Will you walk beside GROOM faithfully, until one of you crosses beyond the Ebon Gate and into the waiting presence of Gosaena? Answer true, for She already knows."
The serious expression on the sylvan's face breaks suddenly as she smiles, a full warm smile that does not seem uncomfortable on her otherwise grave face. Gently Lythena joins your hands with BRIDE's, curling the fingers together before stepping back.
Clasping her hands together, Lythena tilts her head upwards, eyes directed towards the sky as she begins a reverent prayer. "Gosaena, before me stand GROOM and BRIDE, beseeching your blessing upon their union. A union meant to last them until that time you call them past the Ebon Gate."
As the last of her words echoes through the air, Lythena bows her head and silence again descends upon the group. A single white feather, caught upon the wind, dances delicately through the area, circling briefly around you and BRIDE, before disappearing into the distance.
As the feather recedes from sight, Lythena lifts her head, her voice a near whisper, though easily heard through the silence, "And so it is done." Turning on her heels, she glides silently out.
