An '''Animated Disk''' is an auction-quality item that summons an object which attunes to the caller permanently and works very similarly to a [[Floating Disk (511)]]. The Animated Disk holds 10 items total, including the count of items inside boxes. It does not disintegrate upon death. Grouped party members can remove items from the Animated Disk, but it will snap at the fingers of anyone ungrouped trying to get anything from it. Both crates and gremlins have a variety of idle ambient messages specific to their appearance. However, if by chance you have more than one Animated Disk's horn or whistle, you may only ever activate one at a time.

Items left inside an Animated Disk will remain inside it when logging out of the game. Items will remain in the Animated Disk even if summoned many days later, except in the case of game crashes. An Animated Disk is an auction-quality item that summons an object which attunes to the caller permanently and works very similarly to a Floating Disk (511). The two flavors of Animated Disks are crate whistles, which summon an animated crate, and gremlin horns, which summons a gremlin.

Gremlin Horn

A gremlin horn is able to summon a gremlin henchman to carry items. One example is an onyx-marbled smooth bone horn that was auctioned during the February 2023 Duskruin Mania.

It is a small item, under a pound.
It is estimated to be worth about 1,000,000 silvers.
It is magic resistant.
It is predominantly crafted of bone.
The horn can be worn, attaching it to the belt.
