Custom Aid the Fallen

Custom Aid the Fallen is a type of advanced spell customization that changes the messaging associated with the Aid the Fallen (1613) spell. Pre-written custom Aid the Fallen messaging is available at various festivals, pay events, and at Bayview Villa on Mist Harbor. Fully custom Aid the Fallen messaging is a delayed service when the player is writing their own. Custom Aid the Fallen is part of the Player Customization System and is managed via the CUSTOM verb.

Custom Aid the Fallen messaging consists of first person messaging for when the spell is cast plus third person messaging for both the departure and arrival rooms.

Examples of custom Aid the Fallen messaging include the following from Rumor Woods:

1P: Wisps of grey haze seep from underneath you and wreathe around your body, blanketing you in a protective glow.  As the cocoon seals, pale threads of silver lift your swaddled corpse off the ground and build in intensity just before erupting into a brilliant illumination!  You sense that your surroundings have changed...
3P, departure: Wisps of grey haze seep from underneath Person and wreathe around her body, blanketing him in a protective glow.  As the cocoon seals, pale threads of silver lift her swaddled corpse off the ground and build in intensity just before erupting into a brilliant illumination!  When the light fades, Person is gone.
3P, arrival: A flash of brilliant silver light illuminates the area as the body of Person appears.
