Icy cloak

Ice cloaks are highly scripted cloaks that were introduced at Currents of Myth, the 2026 Premium Festival. They have a normal side and an empowered side that are both fully alterable (long description and show description) and have ambient messaging while empowered. The empowered side reflects the icy nature of the cloak. Analyze You analyze the cerulean nyra cloak and sense that the creator has provided the following information: This cerulean nyra cloak will react to ice and water spells being cast at it and transform into an ice-covered cloak! While in this state it has ambient messaging. Verbs: BOW, PULL, PUSH, SHAKE, WAVE, ATTEND, CLEAN, PINCH, NUDGE, PROD, WAGGLE, and INVOKE. It is fully alterable, but the fabric form must remain actual fabric. The icy form is also alterable, and the ice-clad description (long + show) can make reference to the cloak being EMPOWERED. When altering cloaks, please keep in mind that the messaging references a long garment. The ice crystal color may also be customized. There's more room than the traditional 15, so color descriptions needn't be one word only, but let's keep it reasonable. "Azure and silver" = Okay. "Gold-hearted scarlet" = Okay. Brightly luminescent absinthe green-tinged aquamarine and cerulean = Too much. Faster and faster the blizzard rages and with a sudden hiss, it vanishes, leaving you unharmed but certainly the center of attention. Illuminated with brilliant cerulean-flecked silver energy, the ice of (Character)'s ice-covered cloak blossoms into a shrieking snowstorm that engulfs (her/him)! With a roar, the frigid cocoon begins to swirl around (her/him), throwing off a cascade of shimmering cerulean-flecked silver ice crystals. Faster and faster the blizzard rages around (Character)! With a guttering hiss, the snowstorm vanishes, leaving (Character) unharmed in its center. Tiny snowflakes swirl around (her/him) for a moment before winking out. NUDGE Normal With your hand inside the cerulean nyra cloak, you give it a small nudge, causing the fabric to puff out briefly before falling back into place. Additional Information The cloak enters its empowered state when an ice or water spell is cast or channeled at it; the messaging above was captured using Major Cold (907). The wearer may also empower the cloak without a spell by using WAGGLE, and may return it to its normal state at any time with PROD. INVOKE is only documented in the empowered state. PROD used in the normal state returns an informational message rather than scripted messaging. According to the item's owner, the ice does not wear off on its own and must be manually returned to normal with PROD; this has not been independently confirmed with a long-duration test. WAGGLE while already empowered returns a refusal message rather than re-triggering the effect. INVOKE while not empowered similarly returns a refusal message rather than doing nothing silently. The item was obtained as a raffle prize during Currents of Myth 2026 rather than purchased directly from a merchant; the specific raffle is not otherwise documented here. Per the owner, it has no tiers and is fully unlocked as obtained. As of this writing it is also the only ice-themed cloak of its kind; no elemental variants (e.g. a fire-themed counterpart) are known to exist yet.
