Brewing kettle

Brewing kettles are part of the brewing system and are used to brew tea or coffee from tea leaves or coffee grounds. A portable stove, Collapsible Tripod, or other heat source is needed to heat the brewing kettle. A tea infuser or coffee press may also be used as part of the brewing process but are not required. Analyze This is a brewing kettle used to boil water to make tea or coffee. A portable stove or other heat source is needed to heat the kettle. POUR in water, PUT in tea leaves (alone or in an infuser) or coffee grounds, brew for the desired amount of time, and GET it to pour the drink into your cup. CLEAN it to reset it for its next use. Usage Verb Option First Third CAST 903 / 306 You conjure a gentle stream of cool, clear water from your hand and fill the kettle with it. Person meticulously cleans the kettle. DROP/PUT Tea leaves / Coffee grounds You carefully measure a portion of the tea leaves and place it into the kettle. Person carefully measures out some tea leaves and places them into the kettle. Tea infuser You close the silver tea infuser. You lower the silver tea infuser into the dark pewter kettle and secure its long chain around the kettle's handle. Person closes her silver tea infuser. GET Fixed kettle Lifting the kettle from the stove, you tip the spout of your kettle over a cup and carefully fill it. Additional Information When heating a kettle, it requires 72 heating pulses, normally three minutes, to bring the water to a boil. Stoves can be unlocked to adjust the speed of the heating pulses. Complete brewing requires an additional five seconds per dose of water. TURN requires confirmation before discarding the contents. CLEAN immediately empties and resets the kettle without confirmation. Kettle Contents When you LOOK IN a kettle, you can see what type of drink is inside (based on its color), how full the kettle is, and if there is anything else in the kettle with the liquid. Kettle measurements include: about one-fourth full, about one-third full, about half full, about two-thirds full, about three-fourths full, nearly full, and full. A kettle holds up to 35 sips, equivalent to five full cups. Unbrewed water is clear. A brewed beverage will have a color according to that specific beverage as well as an intensity description. The intensity of the liquid can be pale, murky, or rich according to its brewing progress. The final beverage's strength appends the tea or coffee's flavor messaging: The tea/coffee is weak. The tea/coffee is a bit weak. The tea/coffee is just right. The tea/coffee is a bit strong. The tea/coffee is very strong. A kettle will continue to brew its contents if the water has been heated to boiling, even after it has been removed from the heat source. Basic Brewing Steps Main article: Brewing system POUR fresh water into the kettle or CAST Minor Water (903) or Holy Bolt (306) at it. PUT tea leaves, coffee grounds, or a filled tea infuser into the kettle. Place the kettle on a portable stove, Collapsible Tripod, or another compatible heat source. LOOK IN the kettle to monitor its contents and brewing strength. POUR the finished drink into a cup. For permanently installed kettles, hold an appropriate cup and GET the kettle. CLEAN the kettle to empty and reset it. TURN may also be used to discard its contents.
