GemStone IV currently has (9) nine professions characters may choose from upon character creation. Warrior, Rogue, Wizard, Sorcerer, Cleric, Empath, Ranger, Bard and Paladin. The Savant and Monk professions have been announced as two additional professions to be released in the future.
