Step 7
The Symbol of Submission is obtained at the seventh step of the Order of Voln. With a successful resolution, this symbol will force the targeted Undead into an offensive stance and briefly kneel before the member in a submissive posture. This symbol uses the Standard success resolution system to detemine success or failure.
Syntax
Symbol of Submission <undead target>
Note: Must be targeted at a single undead.
Messaging
First person view:
>sym sub wraith
You feel the power of the symbol project toward a wraith.
The wraith tries to resist you, but fails!
Third person view:
[Member] stares at a wraith until it bows its head in submission and kneels.
Favor Cost
Favor cost is based on the member's level. See Order of Voln Symbols table [1] for specific examples.
Obtaining Symbol of Submission
Talk to the seventh monk on the path to enlightenment for instructions. Upon obtaining the requisite favor and completing the assigned task, the monk will teach the member the Symbol of Submission.
Favor Required to Obtain Symbol of Submission
Formula: 600 + (( level2 × 10 ) ÷ 3 )
Ex. level 5 member: 600 + ((5 × 5 × 10) ÷ 3) = 683 favor
Ex. level 10 member: 600 + ((10 × 10 × 10) ÷ 3) = 933 favor
