Despana

Despana was some being of unknown origin who, despite the sanction Koar put on information concerning the intricacies of undead, was able to raise the largest undead horde in history, nearly destroying the Elven Nations during the Undead War.

Origin of Power

Somewhere in the Southron Wastes, she was able to find the Book of Tormtor, presumably an object of the Ur-Daemon. Whatever the origin, it undoutedly contained the power of necromancy.

Fall

The magics used against Despana caused Maelshyve to implode and the rest of the Undead horde was destroyed, ending the war. Since Despana's defeat at the Battle at Maelshyve, the Book of Tormtor has not been seen, but it was never verified to be destroyed due to the magics the Faendryl used to destroy Despana. However, it is safe to assume Despana is dead, for she has not risen against the lesser races since her fall.
